Sunquest Vacations: A Canadian Company Offering Canadian Travel Protection

Sunquest Vacations has been offering the sale of package vacations since the early 1970s, and was a pioneer of the package holiday industry in Canada. Sunquest Vacations, based in Toronto, is owned by Thomas Cook, and is publicly traded on the London Stock Exchange. From their earliest years in operation, Sunquest Vacations offered package vacations using charter flights operated by Air Canada. In the early 1990s, Sunquest Vacations transitioned to Skyservice, a flight provider previously focussed on Air Ambulance service and charter flights. The Sunquest-Skyservice business relationship continued until 2010, ending with the economic failure of Skyservice.

Sunquest Vacations is registered in Ontario with TICO, as well as with regulatory authorities in British Columbia and Quebec, through the O.P.C.
