| 1 | Arrive Seattle, Washington - Renton Welcome to Collette's Canadian Rockies Value tour, where you will see some of the area's most popular attractions - at an affordable price. Your vacation begins in Seattle, the gateway to the Pacific Northwest. Travel to Renton for your overnight. (D) |
| 2 | Renton (Seattle) - Wenatchee Today you embark on a scenic ride through the Wenatchee National Forest, arriving in the ^Apple Capital of the World,^ Wenatchee. This afternoon you will travel to the foothills of the Cascades and the Bavarian village of Leavenworth. This wonderful region features old-world architecture, specialty shops and unique German restaurants. Today you also visit the Washington Apple Commission where you will learn about the apple industry firsthand. (B, D) |
| 3 | Wenatchee - Kelowna, British Columbia Depart the U.S. and head into Canada. Travel through the Okanagan Valley and behold the fertile farmland were most of Canada's fruits and vegetables are grown. Later this afternoon, enjoy a tour of a local winery. Next, travel along Lake Okanagan and learn about the elusive monster known as Ogopogo, who is believed to inhabit this 80-mile long lake. (B) |
| 4 | Kelowna - Canmore, Alberta Today you will begin your journey into the Canadian Rockies. Climb through the Columbia mountain range and the towering peaks known as the Monashees, the Purcells and the Selkirks. Then, as you head up the Transcanadian Highway, you pass through Glacier and Yoho National Parks, crossing from British Columbia into Alberta. Your destination is the town of Canmore, located at the beginning of the Canadian Rockies. Upon arrival, you have some leisure time to explore this beautiful area. (B, D) |
| 5 | Canmore - Banff - Canmore Begin the day with a stop at the lovely Bow Falls and the fascinating Hoodoos, land of sleeping giants. Later today depart for the town of Banff, situated in the heart of Banff National Park. The afternoon is at leisure for exploring or shopping. (B) |
| 6 | Canmore - Jasper Travel north to incredible Lake Louise and the magnificent Victoria Glacier. A short ride will bring you to the beautiful Moraine Lake and Valley of the Ten Peaks. Continue onto the Icefields Parkway. From here you will travel through one of the most spectacular mountain ranges in the world. At the Columbia Icefields, enjoy a special ride in a snocoach (weather permitting) across this mass of glacial ice, which is over 1,000 feet thick. Stops will be made at Peyto Lake as well as majestic Athabasca Falls before this incredible day ends in the quaint town of Jasper, located in Jasper National Park. (B, D) |
| 7 | Jasper - Sun Peaks Depart Jasper and head for Sun Peaks. En route, a stop will be made at Maligne Canyon before following the Yellowhead Highway. You will pass Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at over 12,000 feet above sea level. Continue along the Thompson River before arriving in the town of Sun Peaks. (B, D) |
| 8 | Sun Peaks - Vancouver Your next stop is Vancouver, the largest city in British Columbia. A sightseeing tour includes a visit to Stanley Park, Bloedel Conservatory, Chinatown and Gastown, home of the world-famous steam-powered clock. Every quarter hour, the famous clock whistles and lets out steam! Enjoy an amazing view of Vancouver with a ride up to the popular Lookout. End your day with a special dinner at the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge. (B, D) |
