- Background
In her 15 years in the travel industry, Lara has travelled extensively throughout the world and has visited over 350 resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico alone. She has cruised with all the major cruise lines, and has toured with several escorted motorcoach companies, as well as small group adventure organizations. Lara spends time in Rwanda every summer doing humanitarian work with children and continues to provide fresh fruit to over 100 children on a weekly basis. Lara is currently travelling to exotic destinations while filming for tripcentral.ca's "Postcards" series, for which she hosts and writes.

Some of Lara's most memorable travel experiences include climbing Mt Fuji in Japan, hill tribe trekking in Northern Thailand, watching the sunrise over the Taj Mahal in India, and Gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. Lara enjoys travelling to far away places and immersing herself in different cultures.
