Choose Florida if you like malls, movie theatres, theme parks, fast-food, and chain restaurants.

All Florida packages include a car rental (usually sub-compact or compact) which can be upgraded at the time of booking to a larger car. You really need the car in Florida, as getting around without it is necessary, expensive, and very inconvenient. The only time you might not want to rent a car, is if you are staying put completely at a Disney Resort, and you are satisfied to eat all meals either in the Disney Theme Parks, or at the Disney Hotels. Most car rental companies will only rent to those 25 or older, but some will rent to 21-24 year olds with a daily supplement. We offer hotels and condos from budget to luxury, all within a twenty minute drive of the Disney parks, Universal Studios, and many other attractions, making the holiday more affordable and flexible than staying on property. A thirty minute drive away, is the Kennedy Space Centre, and the beaches of Cocoa and Daytona.

The Gulf Coast offers condo and hotel accommodations along a strip of interconnected islands. Starting in the south, Sarasota and Bradenton areas offer a more up-market feel to your holiday. Higher end restaurants, manicured properties contrast to the neon and fast-food nature of St Pete's Beach. Quieter condominium accommodations along the Maderia, Indian Shores, Indian Rocks, lead to another strip in Clearwater Beach. East Coast Florida includes the ritzy West Palm Beach area, the more suburban-like Fort Lauderdale area, and the sizzling nightlife of Miami's South Beach, all within a two-hour drive.

Sunning and swimming is fine for most of the year, but can be a bit dicey in the winter in the Central Florida and Central Gulf Coast areas. A cloudy day, or a drop in temperature even on a sunny day can result in temperatures in the mid sixties at this time of year, If you want warm, better head further south in the winter to Fort Myers or Miami/Lauderdale areas. Even here, it can be too cool for sunbathing in the winter months, on occasion. A heated pool is a must!
