Punta Cana Vacations

Punta Cana is a mega resort destination, with all-inclusive vacation packages suitable for various types of travellers. It generally appeals to families, couples and golfers looking for great value. One of its main attractions is the sand. Punta Cana beaches tend to be wide, with clear waters and white sand. For beach lovers looking for the ultimate beach experience, consider the Bavaro Beach—arguably the best in the area. Great golfing is a real draw as well, with up to 12 professional courses for visitors to choose from. For fun in the water, all of the typical water activities can be expected. Punta Cana also offer plenty of day trips. Create memories that will last a lifetime and choose from fun activities like swimming with dolphins, horseback riding, taking a safari trip by jeep, or exploring the wonders of the rain forest.

Getting Around: All-inclusive Punta Cana packages are available year round, with flights from all major gateways across Canada. Although Punta Cana vacations offer relatively little reason to leave the comfort of a quality resort, taxis are the best way to get around.

Where to Stay: Whether you are looking for luxury or a price that fits the budget, Punta Cana offers something for everyone. From the 5-star Grand Bahia Principe Bavaro to the 3-star Vista Sol Punta Cana, a visit here promises to be relaxing.

Weather: Punta Cana boasts an average of 27C. The best time to visit is between March and mid-July, during the dry season. If you are booking your trip between October and January, expect daytime temperatures that range from the 21C to low 27, and nighttime temperatures in the low 20Cs. Hurricane season, with its unpredictability of storm events, typically lasts from July through to December, peaking from mid-August to mid-December.

Memories Splash Punta Cana: Very clean and spacious, would definately return.

The beds were only doubles, so we upgraded. Staff always friendly. Food was very good, the Under the Sea restaurant was the best. The waterpark was a blast, we have kids. For kids I say between 7-11 years old, the waterpark would only work for the wave pool. Slides had a height restriction. Access to Roylaton was a great bonus, bar there and pool to swim in. Beach was amazing, clean and water warm
