Welcome to Jamaica’s Montego Bay. It’s the second largest city in Jamaica and one of the most popular Jamaican tourist destinations. Whether you’re arriving by cruise ship or by plane, this is one place you won’t forget. MoBay, as it’s also known, is for those seeking sunny days, natural beauty, and a bit of adventure. There are opportunities for family outings, romantic voyages, and a fun-filled time with friends. Gloucester Avenue’s “Hip Strip” features trendy restaurants, art galleries, shops, and nightlife. Take a stroll to experience the local culture, duty-free shopping, and authentic cuisine. Bargain at the craft markets and admire paintings, pottery, and jewellery. Maybe pick up some spices and rum for yourself from a local vendor.
With popular golf courses, lively music festivals, and historic attractions, there is so much to do and see during your vacation. And then there are the beaches. The white sand shores and clear waters are heavenly. Enjoy reggae beats and savour jerk chicken on the more lively beaches, or opt for the peaceful areas where it’s just you and the calm of the water. There’s a youthful spirit about Jamaica- and you’re invited to be part of it.
From the Airport: If you’re heading to Montego Bay, Sangster International Airport is where you’ll land. Taxis, hotel shuttles, and car rentals are available. Board your tour operator’s airport transfer bus and you’ll be taken to your resort.
Getting Around: If you want to explore areas off of the resort (and we suggest you do), you can make arrangements with your travel agent from home or book excursions in your hotel lobby. You may also take a taxi to different destinations. If you rent a car, remember to drive on the left side.
