The resort has 310 rooms, including 10 villas with private pools, two presidential suites, and two accessible rooms, all boasting marbled vanities and European linens. Dine at five specialty restaurants (Japanese Teppanyaki, Classic American Steakhouse, International Gourmet, Mexican, and Italian Cuisine) plus two buffets with show cooking and refresh at six bars. You can also enjoy restaurants at the neighbouring properties.
Iberostar Grand Hotel Bavaro – Bavaro, Dominican Republic
At Iberostar Grand Hotel Bavaro, the luxuries don’t stop at room service and beach butlers. Spacious suites are equipped with jacuzzi tubs for two, fine European linens, and marble vanities. Luxuries like a rose petal bath, stocked mini bar, and shoe shine service are not hard to come by. Enjoy a choice of restaurants onsite (Gourmet, Italian, Japanese, Steakhouse, Buffet, Poolside Snack Bar) or access one of the three sister properties nearby for something different. Take a dip in one of two lake pools or the activities pool, and enjoy loads of activities like wine tasting, windsurfing, and tennis.
Iberostar Grand Hotel Rose Hall – Little River, Rose Hall, Jamaica
In Jamaica’s upscale community of Rose Hall, 20 minutes from the Sangster Airport, you’ll find a paradise called Iberostar Grand Hotel Rose Hall. Personalized butler service is available to make every wish come true, from romantic rose petals and breakfast in bed to a convenient pillow menu and dinner reservations. There are six bars in total, and four pools including a lake pool and fresh water activity pool. Spend your days basking in the Turkish and Roman baths at the spa, teeing off at Cinnamon Hill golf course or enjoying the many activities the resort has to offer.
Iberostar Chef on Tour
If you think pristine beaches, top-notch service, and unlimited cocktails make for the best resort experience, let us introduce you to #IBEROSTARChefOnTour. Nine prestigious chefs with 16 Michelin stars between them are bringing the finest gastronomy to hotels in Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Mexico for special Iberostarchef on Tour events until July 2017. In addition to Iberostar’s supreme gastronomy on a regular basis, Iberostar is offering this special experience (at an additional cost) to guests who love the foodie experience. You can look up the chefs, menus, dates, and resorts online to get an idea for the mouth-watering special events.
Tease your tastebuds with a look at past menus. You won’t find your typical tacos here. A past menu saw cherry, cottage cheese, pistachio and basil gazpacho, seafood with black rice on flames, oxtail ravioli with creamy potatoes and truffles, and passion fruit yogurt with osmosized pineapple – all paired with wines. These tasting dinners offer haute cuisine in places sometimes overlooked for their food — resorts.
Many menus for 2017 are still awaiting confirmation but here’s a look at a July 2016 elegant Italian dinner with Chef Suzette Gresham at the Iberostar Grand Hotel Bavaro:
Appetizer: Lobster Cannoli With Pea Powder
First: Corn Budino, Corn Relish, Green Onion Curls, Tru e Vinaigrette
Second: Kampachi Crudo, Cara Caras, Bronte Pistachio, Osetra Caviar, Avocado

Can you say AMAZING?
The trained chefs come from diverse backgrounds. From Jordi Cruz, the world’s second youngest chef to receive a Michelin star, who turned the ABaC Restaurant in Barcelona into one of the city’s most exclusive, to Carlo Mirarchi, chef and owner of Roberta’s and Blanca restaurants in Brooklyn, who the New York Times described as “kitchen poetry,” these chefs are the real deal — and they are inviting you to their tables in destination.
Here is the upcoming dining calendar.
