Travel expert O’Neil Graham recently returned from a visit to Mexico. Here’s a glimpse of some of the resorts he visited in Cancun and the Riviera Maya:
Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka’an 4.5 star
Adults-only; very nice junior suites; beautiful spa; can access all Bahia facilities in the complex. golf included (carts are $100US); very good food; beautiful statues; swimming with the dolphins available; flea market on-site; live music at night; transfer from Cancun Airport is 1.5 hours
Gran Bahia Principe Coba 4.5 star
Family-oriented with water park, kids club, babysitting, mini spa, & mini bar with juices; family master suite sleeps 8 people; free Wi-Fi in lobby; very good food; swimming with dolphins available; live music at night; flea market on-site; transfer from Cancun airport is 1.5 hours
Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya 4.5 star
Has adult-only section (Heaven) and family section (Hacienda), both beautiful, modern, and well appointed. Heaven features luxurious rooms, 4 restaurants, 10 bars, awesome spa with sauna, steam room, yoga, shopping on-site, nightclub with pool in the centre. Family section has waterslides, kids club, teen club, 5 restaurants, wedding chapel
Moon Palace 4.5 star
Sunrise is family section with teen club, kids club, slides; beautiful rooms from standard to family deluxe; unlimited a la carte restaurant reservations; beautiful spa; flowrider surf simulator; largest pool in Cancun; able to walk around property but shuttle is available every 5 minutes; 25 minutes from Cancun airport
ME Cancun 4 star
Quiet and luxurious; liked this food the best; focus on adults; beautiful wide beach; awesome spa and gym; great disco; 20 minutes from downtown and airport
Iberostar Paraiso (range between 4 and 4.5 star)
Comprised of Iberostar Paraiso del Mar (1), Beach (2), Maya (4) and Grand (5). Iberostar Beach & Mar are great for families; Grand is a breathtaking, adult-only hotel; located 30 minutes from downtown and airport
Paradisus La Esmeralda 4.5 star
Awesome kids club and game room; 14 amazing restaurants; 11 bars; luxurious and modern; large property but everything is accessible
Sandos Caracol 4 star
One of my favourites; very active with lots to do; very lush and eco-friendly; awesome water park; 8 restaurants; romantic boat ride on-site

Hi. Have you been to the Grand Palladium Kantenah in Mexico??? Would like some info. We are 39 & 42. Low key just like to relax on our vacation.
