The sweet scent of summer is in the air. Road trips, barbeques, and pool parties are on the horizon. There’s a lot to look forward to and we’re here to make it even more memorable! For a guide to the season’s biggest and loudest music festivals, read below:

Governors Ball, New York
June 6 to 8

You don’t really need another reason to visit the bustling city of New York. But in case you’re looking for one, does the name, Governors Ball ring a bell? It’s only the biggest festival in New York. With performances from OutKast, Jack Wike, J. Cole, and Skrillex, this year promises to be a musical experience you will always remember.

CMA Music Festival, Nashville
June 5 to 18

There’s something about country music that rhymes perfectly with summertime. The 2014 CMA Music Festival must-see acts include Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Eric Church, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Zac Brown Band and many more. Grab your country hat and make your way to Nashville!

Bonnaroo, Tennessee
June 12-15

Once again, Bonnaroo is here to impress. With a lineup including Kanye, The Avett Brothers, Elton John, Phoenix, and the Arctic Monkeys, music aficionados will feast on a diverse selection of performances. Sounds like a great excuse to party (not that you need one).

Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas
June 20-22

Let’s face it, when it comes to parties, Las Vegas is simply ahead of the game. Watch out for Avicii, Calvin Harris, and Skrillex at the Electric Daisy Carnival. It will be an electronic dance party you will be raving about all year long.

Warped Tour, across North America
June 11-August 3

This one’s for the youngins. With performances from 3OH!3, All Time Low, Anberlin, Yellowcard, and Breathe California, this year’s Warped Tour will be a bundle of excitement. Like always, Warped Tour will be available across North America, pretty convenient for music fans wishing to stay fairly close to home.

Milwaukee Summerfest, Milwaukee
June 25 – 29, July 1-6

Now, this is one summer bash you can’t miss! Everyone from Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, to Brad Paisley and Zac Brown will be making an appearance at the Milwaukee Summerfest! It has such an assorted selection of artists that you are bound to find something for you and everyone in your tag team.

Essence Fest, New Orleans
July 3 – 6

For its 20th year anniversary, Essence Fest promises to please. The headliner is none other than Prince, who will be performing old hits with Nile Rodgers. Who else will be there, you ask? How do you fancy Mary J. Blige, Lionel Richie, and the Roots? Sounds pretty unreal, if you ask me. New Orleans gets it.

Lollapalooza, Chicago
August 1-3

The lovely abode of Chicago has plenty of perks. When it comes to the performance arts, the Windy City has a reputation for delivering in style. This year, Eminem, Kings of Leon, Calvin Harris and Lorde will be gracing the stage. Prepare to get your groove on, this city will blow your mind.
