Our Trip Trivia winner<\/a>, Christi Campbell recently came back from Hard Rock Resort Punta Cana<\/a>. Here are her top 10 favourite memories!<\/p>\n

Christi: You do not need reasons to go.\u00a0 Treat yourself liberally.<\/p>\n

1. Madonna\u2019s car is there:\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0They have tons of rock star memorabilia at the resort. From quotes above doors and above the beds to drinks named after classic rock bands.<\/p>\n

2. The largest casino in the Dominican: <\/b>When you go to the casino, you get a \u201cplayers card\u201d with a free $25 per person to gamble.\u00a0 If you are staying on the resort, party away as all your drinks are covered.\u00a0 Make a kissing noise to get the bartender’s attention.<\/p>\n

3. White sand beaches.\u00a0 <\/b>With bars on the beach, palm tree beach umbrellas, and waiters that take your order straight from your beach chair – other than using the bathroom – you have no reason to leave.<\/p>\n

4. You can be Presidente.<\/b> Well, at least you can with their Presidente beer.<\/p>\n

5. Pirate Night <\/b>is a real thing at the Isla Irestaurant on the Hard Rock Resort. \u00a0They have pirates on stilts, pirates dance fight and a live band.\u00a0 Isla is a restaurant with real Caribbean cuisine.\u00a0 Try their fresh seafood and chicken paya or a lobster cooked fresh in front of you.<\/p>\n

6. The sunsets.<\/b> Sure, the sun sets everywhere in the world.\u00a0 But it feels so much more spectacular after a day of swimming, sunbathing and enjoying Caribbean cuisine.<\/p>\n

7. Hospitality is second to none.<\/b> From check-in to housekeeping, and room service to restaurants, you are treated like royalty.\u00a0 Room service is included in your stay and they bring a flower with your breakfast.\u00a0 A lazy morning is highly recommended.<\/p>\n

8. There is a Jacuzzi in your room, <\/b>just right in front of your private balcony.\u00a0 Before you use your Jacuzzi, make sure you read the sign that says to use 1 bottle of soap or less for bubbles.\u00a0 Do not attempt to use 2 or more.\u00a0 Seriously.\u00a0Trust me on this one.<\/p>\n

9. Choice of restaurants.<\/b>\u00a0 You don\u2019t ever have to deal with the same old, same old.\u00a0 The Hard Rock Resort has 9 restaurants, 2 deli\u2019s, an ice cream bar, 17 bars and lounges, and room service.\u00a0 On top of that, the casino has a night club (Oro) and a restaurant (the Simon Mansion).<\/p>\n

10. Excursions.<\/b> Choose from snorkeling in the ocean, horseback riding on the beach, ATV on the beach, or spend the day on a catamaran.\u00a0 On the resort, they have a gorgeous golf course and one of the best spas in the Caribbean.\u00a0 These excursions cost extra but you’ll create memories that are priceless.<\/p>\n

At Hard Rock, you’ll delight in an array of excursions.<\/p><\/div>\n

Overall, the Hard Rock Resort Punta Cana was nothing short of luxurious.\u00a0 I highly recommend calling it home for a week or so.\u00a0 The resort is family-friendly, safe and thoroughly relaxing.<\/p>\n
