She shares some of the things she learned:<\/p>\n<p><strong><i>THE BASICS:<\/i> <\/strong>City Hall is the information center with a currency exchange. All employees are super friendly as you would expect from Disneyland and they speak many languages. Very few rides have the \u201cFASTPASS\u201d option. Shows are performed in French and English, as well as other languages.<\/p>\n<p>Disneyland Paris has 2 lands: Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. Grab a map when you walk into one of the lands and get a schedule for Character meet and greets and show times. They have limited hours and locations, so you really have to plan.\u00a0Disney Village is located just outside of the parks (and is free of charge), and has a McDonald\u2019s, Earl of a Sandwich, Starbucks, Planet Hollywood, and some Disney Stores.<\/p>\n<p><strong><i>SHOPPING:<\/i> <\/strong>All stores have different souvenirs as well as things that are the same, so if you are looking for something in particular and it&#8217;s not the right size or colour, wait until the next store! <i>TIP:<\/i> If you don&#8217;t want plain Mickey ears wait until you visit Hollywood Studios for glitter ears as well as other items you won&#8217;t find in the Magic Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p><strong><i>FUN FACT: <\/i><\/strong>Some Disney character names are different in French\u2026such as Chip &#8216;n Dale:\u00a0<b><em>Tic et Tac<\/em>\u00a0<\/b> and Captain Hook:\u00a0<em><b>Capitaine<\/b><b> Crochet<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tripcentral.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/10518845_10152279822238655_8187724271267065914_o.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12746\" alt=\"Disneyland Paris\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tripcentral.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/10518845_10152279822238655_8187724271267065914_o.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tripcentral.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/10518845_10152279822238655_8187724271267065914_o.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.tripcentral.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/10518845_10152279822238655_8187724271267065914_o-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tripcentral.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/10518845_10152279822238655_8187724271267065914_o-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>MAGIC KINGDOM<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Sleeping Beauty&#8217;s Castle<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>On all sides:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Christmas shop inside the castle<\/li>\n<li>Dragon under the castle<\/li>\n<li>Light show on the castle \u2013 every night before the park closes \u2013 a must see<\/li>\n<li>Around the castle, the daily Disney Parade takes place<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>TIP:<\/i>\u00a0 When you meet Mickey Mouse, a cast member will take your picture and give you a ticket to purchase it with a frame and other accessories. To save money, ask them to take a picture with your camera or phone as well.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Cin\u00e9Magique<\/b><\/span>\u00a0is a theatre show with live performances synchronized with movie scenes on the big screen with famous actor and comedian, Martin Short.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Art of Animation<\/b><\/span> is a live show in French but there\u2019s a headset to wear for multiple language selection.<\/p>\n<p>The park is represented by the\u00a0<strong>Earffel Tower<\/strong>, a\u00a0water tower\u00a0similar to the\u00a0Earful Tower\u00a0in\u00a0Walt Disney World&#8217;s\u00a0Disney&#8217;s Hollywood Studios.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Ratatouille: L\u2019Aventure Totalement Toqu\u00e9e de R\u00e9my<\/b><\/span>\u00a0is a motion-based trackless dark ride based on the 2007 Disney\u00b7Pixar animated film\u00a0<i>Ratatouille<\/i>.
