Myrtle Beach tourism released news to help alleviate the declining Canadian dollar and encourage travel by offering steep discounts to \u201cmake up\u201d for the difference. To ensure Canadian snowbirds still have the means to travel and experience the sunshine, Myrtle Beach partnered with local hotels, attractions, dining, and entertainment venues to provide a discount from January to April 2016, upon presentation of a Canadian passport. This is good news for Canadians travellers as costs increase with the rising American dollar.<\/p>\n

Hotels will be discounted up to 65% and entertainment, attractions, and restaurants up to 30% to at least cover the difference of the 76-cent-on-the-dollar conversion from Canadian currency to US. This is the first time a program like this has been introduced specifically targeting Canadian travellers to Myrtle Beach, and we want you to take advantage of the savings that are being offered. Discounts include the following attraction partners: The Alabama Theater, Legends in Concert, Palace Theatre, Ripley\u2019s Aquarium, Soar + Explore, The Carolina Opry, and Wonderworks, and others to be released.<\/p>\n
