Hi Wendy<\/a>,<\/p>\n

Thanks for the follow up.\u00a0 I\u00a0wanted to send you a quick note to say how fantastic our trip to Los\u00a0Cabos was. I would highly recommend the\u00a0Riu Palace<\/a>. The rooms are very clean and the view was amazing.<\/p>\n

The a la carts are very hard to book as they only would book two days in\u00a0advance. What we found was that\u00a0even if you did not have a reservation and you went a little later in the evening,\u00a0\u00a0you just had to wait one\u00a0Mexican minute and they would eventually seat you.<\/p>\n

The wine is not the best but\u00a0Walmart was a quick taxi ride away if you wanted something a little more upscale.\u00a0 The\u00a0buffet was unbelievable. If you could not find something on there that you liked then there was something wrong.<\/p>\n

We went whale watching, parasailing, and went to Lovers Beach and Divorce Beach\u00a0all amazing. We wanted to do the dune buggy tropical tour but ran out of time.\u00a0 The only down side to the whole vacation was having to come home.\u00a0 We will return in a heart beat.<\/p>\n

I just wanted to say thanks for your help. \u00a0On\u00a0January\u00a017th I entered your mall location in Hamilton. \u00a0I asked you to find a vacation package for my friend and I. \u00a0There was a catch. \u00a0We were wanting to leave within a few hours. \u00a0You found us a trip out of Toronto that left in just under three hours. \u00a0We made the trip to Pearson at speeds I won’t mention. \u00a0Turned in the rental car and hopped on a plane with so very little time to spare.<\/p>\n

When we arrived in Holguin, nobody knew we were coming. \u00a0Cubans, being such an\u00a0accommodating\u00a0bunch, made it work. \u00a0We had a great time in Playa Costa Verde<\/a>. \u00a0The resort is a little run down compared to other countries, but one of the nicest I’ve stayed at in Cuba. \u00a0The people were great.<\/p>\n

Thanks to you, I had the opportunity to meet a wonderful tour guide. \u00a0We are\u00a0communicating\u00a0almost daily and are planning to see each other again. \u00a0Meeting this wonderful Cuban woman would not have happened without you. \u00a0So I thank you from the bottom of my heart.<\/p>\n

So thanks again and if I can use your services again, I most certainly will.<\/p>\n

\"Playa<\/a>Hi Spencer<\/a>,<\/p>\n

As promised, I said I would give you an update on our recent trip to Hotel Playa Cayo Santa Maria<\/a>.\u00a0 This trip has totally restored our faith in Cuba and we are looking forward to possibly returning in July.\u00a0 From the cleanliness of the rooms, pools\u00a0and resort to the friendliness of staff we were really impressed.<\/p>\n

There were no “giant lineups” everywhere as stated in many of the reviews on Tripadvisor.\u00a0 The Transat rep at the hotel said that the hotel was fully booked so I’m not sure what
\nother people were experiencing.\u00a0 Perhaps it was the time of day they were utilizing the buffet as we were always there around 8am and there were no problems.<\/p>\n

I must admit that the buffet could be a little more organized and the layout isn’t the
\nbest but I certainly wouldn’t let it ruin my trip.\u00a0 We haven’t been to a 5* in Cuba so we don’t have anything to compare it to but I would say for Cuba standards the HPCSM is right up there.\u00a0 There are many other 5* resorts in other parts of the\u00a0Caribbean that don’t have fresh squeezed orange juice for you every morning.<\/p>\n

Anyway, we had a great time away and the weather was absolutely beautiful.\u00a0 Thanks for answering all of my questions prior to our trip and I will keep an eye on pricing for the beginning of July and hopefully have the opportunity to book with you\u00a0again!<\/p>\n
