So grab your sunscreen and get ready to have a good time.\u00a0 All that\u2019s left to do is book your flight<\/a> and hotel<\/a>– and we\u2019ve got that covered too!<\/p>\n

10. Craven Country Jamboree<\/strong><\/p>\n

For the past 30 years, Saskatchewan\u2019s beautiful <\/em>Qu’Appelle Valley has been home to this country music festival, running for four days in July. In addition to the music, there are other activities to participate in.\u00a0 Karaoke, bull-riding, and hypnosis, anyone?<\/p>\n

Where: Craven, Saskatchewan<\/em>
\n When: July 11-14<\/em>
\n Highlights: Tim McGraw, Dixie Chicks, Scotty McCreery<\/em><\/p>\n

9. Rockin\u2019 the Fields of Minnedosa<\/strong><\/p>\n

This non-profit effort has resulted in 10 years of rock and roll. \u00a0In between your favourite acts you can golf, fish, or relax on the beach.<\/p>\n

Where:\u00a0 Minnedosa, Manitoba<\/em>
\n When: August 2-4<\/em>
\n Highlights: Theory of a Deadman, The Trews, Monster Truck<\/em><\/p>\n

8. Winnipeg Folk Fest<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over 80,000 attendees are present during this festival.\u00a0 For their 40th<\/sup> anniversary, there will also be an array of events taking place.<\/p>\n

Where: Winnipeg, Manitoba<\/em>
\n When: July 10-14<\/em>
\n Highlights: City and Colour, Serena Ryder, Whitehorse<\/em><\/p>\n

7. Edmonton Folk Fest<\/strong><\/p>\n

The festival takes place in downtown Gallagher Park and is organized by a not-for-profit society who works to bring you the best in folk music.<\/p>\n

Where: Edmonton, Alberta<\/em>
\n When: August 8-11<\/em>
\n Highlights: Feist, Rosanne Cash, Bruce Cockburn<\/em><\/p>\n

6. VELD<\/strong><\/p>\n

The second annual VELD festival takes place in August at Downsview Park.\u00a0 Over 30 electronic dance music acts will perform to an enthusiastic crowd.<\/p>\n

5. Calgary Stampede<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Calgary Stampede welcomes more than 700,000 guests each year, many of whom are gearing up to see the concerts lined-up, among the many other activities.<\/p>\n

4. Boots and Hearts Festival<\/strong><\/p>\n

This festival boasts an impressive line-up of over 30 country music bands, making it the largest Canadian country music festival.<\/p>\n

Where: Bowmanville, Ontario<\/em>
\n When: August 1-4<\/em>
\n Highlights: Jason Alden, Miranda Lambert, The Band Perry<\/em><\/p>\n

3. Osheaga<\/strong><\/p>\n

Started in 2006, this festival hosts over 100 fan-favourites on the picturesque Ile Ste-H\u00e9l\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n

Where: Montreal, Quebec<\/em>

\n Highlights: Ben Howard, Ellie Goulding, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis<\/em><\/p>\n

2. Bluesfest
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

This festival showcases both local and international talent in many musical styles.\u00a0 It\u2019s the event of the summer, spanning over ten days and bringing together energetic crowds in Canada\u2019s capital.<\/p>\n

\n Highlights: RUSH, Alice in Chains, The Black Keys<\/em><\/p>\n

1. The Festival d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 de Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong><\/p>\n

With 1.5 million attendees, 12 stages, and an exhaustive line-up of performers from every genre, this festival is not to be missed! Quebec City hosts almost 200 successful artists in addition to other talented performers, such as stilt-walkers and acrobats, and numerous activities for children.<\/p>\n
