Famously renowned as the City of Lights, City of Love, and Capital of Fashion, it may be safe to say that Paris<\/a> has a way of speaking to everyone. For the fifth installation of Insider Scoop<\/a>, our very own vacation expert, Jean Arseneau<\/a> shares with us memories from his trip to the romantic city of Paris. I arrived at the Charles de Gaule Airport in Paris on August 18, 2013. I flew direct from Montreal with Air Transat \u2013 and the flight was great! When we arrived at the airport, we already had a bus waiting for us. After, we went to see the Custom officials and picked up our luggage. My wife and I already had our transfers arranged so we had a chauffeur waiting for us. This is the best option to go with if your transfers are not included. We did the same thing for the return flight a week later, and our chauffeur was already waiting for us 4 hours prior departure.<\/p>\n

We stayed for 7 nights at the\u00a0Tryp Paris Francois Hotel<\/a>, which is part of the Melia chain and located in the Montmartre area on the Grands Boulevards. In front of the hotel is the Metro which was very handy for seeing all the main attractions in Paris. The hotel offered continental breakfast with cold and hot buffet. The room was clean and we enjoyed free WiFi on their internet station. Located next to the hotel are quaint cafes. We were also very close to La Fayette and Le Printemts shopping stores, which was ideal for getting some shopping done! Overall, Tryp Paris Francois Hotel is a great 3-star establishment. I would recommend it to travelers looking for affordable accommodation.<\/p>\n
