The diversity of the trip elated everyone \u2013 all 11 of them!\n<p>Fiona told us that the 3-night cruise ship portion of the [Orlando] vacation gave them the R&amp;R needed to balance out the excitement of their time ashore, where they visited Universal Studios. She wasn\u2019t as keen on that attraction, calling it, \u201cso-so.\u201d She said, \u201cIt\u2019s no Disney, but the Harry Potter part was great!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Still in port, the family discovered The Animators Palate restaurant that \u201chad a cute Finding Nemo theme, which was fun and interactive for the kids.\u201d Additionally, The Grills restaurant, she said, \u201cis a must when staying at Port Canaveral.\u201d After their dinner, some of the local fishermen appeared with their fresh catch and let the kids have a taste!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tripcentral.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Disney-Cruise-Family.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"Disney Cruise Family\" alt=\"Orlando Family Vacation: Disney Cruise\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tripcentral.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Disney-Cruise-Family.jpg\" width=\"256\" height=\"151\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At sea, the family was pampered with the simple pleasures of charming staterooms and friendly service, great food and entertainment. The kids were free to roam about the ship playing basketball, visiting the Kids Club, or just hanging out in the cabin. \u201cDisney gives you phones to use on board \u2013 the kids had one and we had one. That gave us peace of mind, and also allowed us to enjoy adult time,\u201d she said.
