style=\"text-align: left;\"><!--more--><strong>Before You Go: Preparing for your Flight<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Verify the date, time, and seat assignment of your flight<\/li>\n<li>Check your identification for validity (all documents must be valid for the duration<br \/>\nof your trip and include your full name, date of birth, and gender)<\/li>\n<li>If you booked a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tripcentral.ca\/hotels\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">hotel<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cartrawler.com\/tripcentral\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">car rental<\/a> for your trip, ensure you have all of your<br \/>\nvouchers and confirmations<\/li>\n<li>Ensure you have your out of province medical insurance<\/li>\n<li>Have tags on all your baggage with your name and address for identification purposes.\n<ul>\n<li>It is recommended to use your work address according to the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Research <a href=\"http:\/\/www.catsa.gc.ca\/whatcanIbring?_ga=1.214342679.1034983985.1486480687\">what is admissible<\/a> in your carry-on and checked luggage<\/li>\n<li>Ensure your checked bags are within the size and weight restrictions of your airline<\/li>\n<li>Pack valuables and any medications in your carry-on luggage in the case of lost luggage<\/li>\n<li>Check your flight status online before you leave for the airport<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Arrive Early<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Give yourself plenty time for parking, checking in, and security screening, especially during peak times.\u00a0 Tardiness may result in cancellation or re-assigned seats<\/li>\n<li>Procedures vary depending on the airport and pass<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Domestic Flights: Check-in 90 minutes prior with a valid photo id<\/li>\n<li>International Flights: Check-in 3 hours prior with a valid passport (for some destinations, a passport must be valid for the following 6 months as well)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Security Screening<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a excess liquids (like your water bottle) and ensure your <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tripcentral.ca\/blog\/carry-on-luggage-liquids\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">liquids and gels<\/a> are in the proper packaging<\/li>\n<li>Have boarding pass and identification ready for inspection<\/li>\n<li>Avoid wearing metal items (i.e. belts, piercings)<\/li>\n<li>Remove your coat as well as your shoes and belt if asked<\/li>\n<li>Place all carry-on items (including electronics) in a tray for screening<\/li>\n<li>Walk through the scanner only when asked and make no comments about illegal
