Good morning! I’m back today with another real life review from a tripcentral.ca customer. Today’s travel review comes from Bernie, from Toronto, who returned from Granada this past April. Here’s what Bernie had to say:<\/p>\n

Hi Karol \u2013 hope all is well. Just wanted to give you an update on our visit to Grenada last week. Absolutely beautiful island, resort was quite good (I was actually pleasantly surprised) and the beach was terrific. The\u00a0Grand Beach Resort<\/a>\u00a0is located exactly in the middle of Grand Anse Beach with a 1\u00bd mile stretch of white sand either way. Although the beach is public it was quiet and while there were some beach vendors they were very pleasant and left you alone once you said no, unlike some other places where they can keep being aggressive.<\/p>\n

We took an all-day island tour (sold through\u00a0Air Canada Vacations<\/a>\u00a0at the resort) which was really great, very entertaining and educational. Also took the all day catamaran sail (again sold by Air Canada vacations rep at the resort) and thoroughly enjoyed the sail and snorkeling. The city of St. Georges is relatively small and very busy but worth a visit.<\/p>\n

Would highly recommend Grenada as a\u00a0travel bucket list<\/a>\u00a0island. While not a RIU or Sandals experience, it was an extremely enjoyable week. During our exploration of the island, we spoke to a number of other people that stayed at some of the other resorts, but I think Grand Beach was probably one of the best values in comparison.<\/p>\n

The 2 hotel restaurants had good food, reasonably priced, although restaurant service was very slow and not good. All other aspects of the resort were very good. There are a number of really good restaurants within a 5 to 7 minute walk from the front of the hotel, with 3 of them being right on the beach. Food and service was excellent in all of them.<\/p>\n

Highly recommend this resort and vacation for any body \u00a0looking for a reasonably priced, \u00a0quiet relaxing week in a tropical paradise.<\/p>\n
