Hyatt Vivid Cancun: Amazing

Dreams Sapphire is a great family friendly resort. There are so many activities for the young and old. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I could not have asked for a better stay. Although the beach had a lot of seaweed, the pools were great.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Excellent resort!

The Zilara is a beautiful hotel. The lobby is expansive and has many seating areas including the bar area. While it is not air conditioned there are many ceiling fans. .Reception is just off the main lobby and is air conditioned. The staff are outstanding and many remembered us from our three previous visits. Our room on the 3rd floor overlooked the beautiful pool and the sea. The food at Lola Cafe and Capri grille was excellent and the wait staff were very good.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Perfect vacation

My husband and I stayed at the resort and had an incredible time! The resort was beautiful very clean and well maintained Our stay at Hyatt Zilara was overall a very enjoyable and relaxing experience. The service truly stood out — the staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcomed everyday. We were greeted with champagne and a lovely smile upon arrival. Hyatt Vivid Grand Island: Fantastic quality and value

This was our 2nd time and there will be a 3rd, top notch all around, food, service, cleanliness and the best value for a 5 star adults only resort. Not on the beach but the beach club has that Miami vibe that's a 5 minute shuttle ride away. The views are the best in Cancun and your 20 minutes from the airport. A refined and relaxing resort with great staff and diverse activities.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Would definitely go back

This hotel was well maintained and staffed with very friendly and helpful people. It was not a party hotel and provided for a laid back and relaxing time. The food was very good and the bars were well stocked. My only suggestions are these: they should have a map of the building posted here and there as navigating to and from the elevators was not simple at first. The Lola Beach should be fully accessible ( I have MS and use a walker and was not able to go in and finally , maybe more s [... read more]eating in the main foyer where there is a nice bar but not much seating. These were not make or break issues just a few things that could be improved upon. I would recommend this resort to friends and would happily go back myself.

Loved the very quaint setting , staff was friendly clean rooms, dining alla cart options were good, service on the beach was great , entertainment was wonderful, daily activities were ok but not too upbeat, extra classes and activities were fun to participate in. Had overall a great experience. We woukd definitely recommend and return again. The only thing is the lighting in rooms was very dim, beds are very sqeeky

Rooms: clean and spacious Grounds: well kept, lots of chairs to tan in, no real rush to run down and save Entertainment: a flop. The resort shuts down early and the shows could use some work/ more creativity Staff: beyond friendly, fun activities in the day (drink class, sushi class, painting, bracelet making etc) Food: excellent, fast and friendly service- not overly pushy with the up sells (booze and add on foods) Beach club: out of this world. Beware of the “$200 off” scam- we upgraded to Vantage club hoping we would get vouchers like I often do when I upgrade with Hyatt- turns out they tried to rope us into a whole day timeshare scam. Skip the $200 vouchers- it’s not worth the 6-8 hour day off the resort and being harassed to invest. It’s also useful to note the resort was very empty- 1/2 of it isn’t open (being transitioned to residences) and the actual capacity of the other 50% of the resort was at best 60%.

Lawrence from Trip Central was fabulous and found us a lovely vacation package that met all our needs. This older but well kept hotel delivered exemplary customer service throughout the entire duration of our stay. Food was excellent, rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Club service insured we had dinner reservations and a poolside chair ready for us every single day. The beach was cleaned constantly to minimize sea grass. Hyatt Vivid Grand Island: Great resort!

The food at the specialty restaurants and the beach club was great. Nice rooms as well. Beach club is off site but well worth the 8 minute shuttle. We loved the resort! We would recommend to friends and would also return.

we had a wonderful time at the Hyatt Zilara. the room was clean and comfortable beds. We had an ocean view which overlooked the pool and the sea from our balcony. The beach was excellent and we took a walk with Fermin to a Cenote only 15 minutes away. we had really good breakfasts at El Comedor. All the service is great especially Miguel and Norma. there are 3 other restaurants Lola on the beach or at the restaurant with Mexican cuisine,the Asian restaurant was very good and Ricardo really took [... read more] care of us. we had excellent service from everyone. I would give this place 5 stars it is smaller than some resorts but we prefer that it’s not a big loud resort. everything is close walking distance.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Fantastic Vacation

We loved this resort! The grounds were nice with a lot of coatis everywhere! The pool was nice and unlike other resorts the tiles on the pool deck were not slippery. The beach had the softest sand and barely any rocks in the water. The food was good, we enjoyed the Japnese the best(ate there 3x). The staff was awesome ,entertainment team Fermin,Sandi and Hector, waitress at the pool Bianca. We are hoping to come back here again.

Hyatt Vivid Grand Island: Beautiful & Perfect Couples Spot!

My husband & I had our honeymoon at this resort and I have zero complaints! The resort and beach club itself were absolutely beautiful and the service from staff was amazing! We did try all the different restaurants (other than buffet - we are not buffet people) and all the food we had was 5 stars! We spent almost the whole week at the beach, and don’t let the idea of the beach shuttle scare you because we never waited more than maybe 3 minutes total! And it was less than 5 minutes drive! Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Nice place but wish we had known before booking

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Zilara, but people should be aware of a couple things before picking a room. We booked a "tropical" swim up room, when we arrived we were informed that there was construction directly beside the hotel, knowing we would not be happy with construction noise all day, we attempted to change rooms rather than try it and then change, we were informed there were no other rooms available, but to check in the morning to see if we we still wanted to change rooms. Sure  [... read more]enough 7am we were woken to the sound of pounding and truck traffic. We went to the check in and asked for a new room--with some hesitation they moved us to the other side of the hotel, same "tropical" swim up room. we get to the new room--our "tropical" view was a 2 foot wide hedge that stood maybe 4 feet high, beyond that was a service road and 2 feet from there was a huge green garbage dumpster. But that was not the worse part-- this side was extremely close to the neighboring resort, where we got to listen to pounding music all day from noon on till 5 --the music from the other resort could be heard better than from our own resort. We tried to change rooms again, but were informed there were no rooms available, we gave up and just took what we got. **NOTE** pool view had none of these problems--so if booking this hotel in the next year ( construction was just getting started ) if you don't like the sounds of construction or blaring noises--book a pool or ocean view room. The food and choices were limited for dinner --3 Asian style restaurants in 1 setting --Hibachi ( reservations) Sushi ( reservations ) and Chinese ala carte..as well as Italian ( no reservations) and a beach restaurant ( no reservations ) and of course a buffet, that was closed on both Saturday and Sunday nights due to low season..Wait--weren't we told the hotel did not have rooms implying a full hotel? food rating over all was about a 4..with the Asian restaurant being best The rooms were wonderful big and clean, the hotel was in great shape and the staff ( other than check in ) were amazing. The ocean close and the sand was clean--very little seaweed. Over all we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves. Would return now knowing what rooms to book.

My husband and I were back a second time the same year! As far as all inclusives go, look no further - if you want a beautiful beach, good food & drinks, nice clean modern rooms, and great service, this is your spot!

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: A super resort.

This is the 3rd time that we have stayed at Zilara and from the moment we checked in through to our checkout, everything was excellent. The staff are universally very good. The wide open lobby opening to the bar is tastefully furnished, as are all of the rooms. We had an ocean view suite which overlooked all of the spacious pool area. The buffet is always open for breakfast and selected evenings. Lola cafe located outside the main building is open for lunch and dinner most days. The Grille is a [... read more]lso open most days for dinner. Tempest, the Asian restaurant is in the lower level and has an hibachi and a sushi bar in addition to its menu. The food at all of the restaurants is very good. The expansive beach area has many palapas and chairs. Great effort is taken daily to keep the Sargassum under control.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: An outstanding vacation

Grounds are beautiful, neatly manicured and clean. Rooms were updated, well thought out and comfortable. We backed onto a quiet mangrove on the north side of the resort in a King room. The resort does not provide screens on the sliding door which they recommend be kept closed due to wildlife. A Nespresso coffee machine a bar fridge filled with water, soft drinks, beer and snacks was a welcome addition. Got cream for the coffee from the coffee shop a couple of times. Food was generally very goo [... read more]d to excellent but could vary from day to day. Bar service around the pool was excellent. We rented bala beds for three days. Service was very friendly and top notch. They make a real effort to make sure you are happy. Coffee shop and staff were excellent. Treats and sandwiches available there were tasty. Buffet usually featured a theme like Mexican, Italian, French etc. Food was generally tasty but inconsistent and staff friendly. Coffee was better at the coffee shop. I enjoyed the smoothies in the morning and the omelets were popular. We could always find plenty to eat. Only downside is that the meat quality was sometimes not up to the standards set by the rest of the resort. The resort has three elevators. One was down all week. Thankfully the one in our building worked as we were on the third floor. If you smoke, no smoking allowed on balconies but they have two small smoking areas, one at the front of the resort and another near the beach. Smokers were underwhelmed by the smoking areas. There was always several types of entertainment available during the daytime from aqua fitness to games, acrobats, pickleball, beach volleyball and a supervised trip to a cenote area, etc. The resort had a very good entertainment team. Drinks were above average but mixes tended to be sugary. Like in many resorts, real juice was often a struggle to get. Many top shelf brands available but Jägermeister was nowhere to be found. Snack bar on the beach had delicious options - the Zilara burger and fries were very tasty after the cenote walk.. Lolas beach front restaurant was pleasant and offered seafood with a Mexican flair. We had a late dinner at the Capri Grille (Italian) on the first night and everything was five star including presentation, food quality and taste. Interestingly, during our last night, the Capri Grille was subpar by contrast. The parmesan was missing from the previously delicious risotto and it was sitting in water. My New York Strip steak was undercooked to my medium well done ask and mainly fat. Only 20% was edible. I should have returned it for replacement or alternative The caprese salads were much larger and inconsistently cut so it seems the staffing in the kitchen was far less capable than the first night (vacation? holiday weekend?). Pool was clean but a tad cool (we did have some below average temperature nights) and the resort is on the best stretch of beach in the local area. Unfortunately, Sargassum arrived one month early this year which made ocean swimming hit and miss. They do however do a great job of keeping the beach clean. Loungers were always available as long as you didn't want to be on the edge of the pool and towels were usually neatly laid out in the morning so we fortunately didn't have to deal with towels or a towel card. A nice touch. The resort is adults only and is a quaint smaller size. We enjoyed our trip and would go back if we can get a similar off season deal. Otherwise, the resort is a bit on the expensive side. Apart from the freshly renovated rooms and infrastructure, the staff stands out for their friendliness, service orientation and attention to details. Every single interaction with staff was commendable, a feature which definitely sets the resort apart.

Hyatt Vivid Grand Island: Beautiful, refreshing and excellent

The resort was very clean and beautiful. We availed of the vantage club option which provided access to the roof top pool, a private bar / snack area and the vantage club suites. Food was fantastic, we made reservations for each evening but also had success at walk ins when we were unsure of what we wanted that night. The quality of food was high and if portions were less than expected, you can always order more! The service was fantastic and prompt. Overall, the resort was beautiful, lots of options for food, activities, and drinks. Highly recommend.

My husband, two friends and I just returned from 7 days at this resort. For my husband and I, it was our first time staying at an all inclusive resort, but our friends had been to multiple in the past, just to give some context! We had an incredible time and can't wait to go back! Pro's: - Rooms are stunning and very comfortable - Food in general was of excellent quality. Water is warm and the swells were not too big when we were there - We loved the entertainment! Especially the silent disco, the "rock show", and the newlywed game. The entertainment team are hilarious and take time to remember you! - The pool and pool bar were so great. An excellent vibe, not too much of a party atmosphere but also not too quiet and boring. The pool was the perfect temperature. - Lots of loungers, we never struggled to find 4 together even later in the morning - Room service was awesome, they definitely read the "comments" and made sure you got what you wanted - The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and made you feel very much like you were a special guest. I also witnessed lots of laughing and banter between staff, and they were very strict on their shift ending times which makes me think they are treated very well, which was important to my group and part of the reason why I had never been to an all inclusive - The coffee shop was awesome and a really nice touch - The rooms were kept spotlessly clean by housekeeping - Check in was smooth and fast, as was check out Cons: - I am vegan, and although there were definitely more vegan options than I expected, there was still very little. Some restaurants had absolutely zero options. Most places did make me something special though. - There are technically only 4 restaurants for dinner, and they aren't all open at the same time. Over the busier weekend period, this meant we were waiting for a long time to eat. This was a bit of an issue for me, the vegan, as I couldn't just grab snacks from the coffee shop - You can not eat on your balcony at all. This is not the resorts fault, this is because you get absolutely surrounded by very brave large birds!! It's cool if you like wildlife, but somewhat unsettling! - Our friends were in room 406 and they had absolutely no view. As in, they were looking at a wall. Their room was also very noisy. Our room, 247, was great and actually had a view of the sea without paying the extra price! - The moment you check in, a very nice and not very pushy person (genuinely!) approaches you about going to "not a timeshare" presentation the next day, in exchange for lots of vouchers. We did not go, but we talked to someone who did and they said that the "not timeshare" was absolutely ridiculously expensive ($450k USD!!!) and they were kept for much longer than the 1.5hrs promised. - The liquor was definitely watered down. Even brand name did not look or taste the same which was unfortunate. The cocktails are good for the most part, but they don't live up to expectations due to the weak liquor. It definitely affects the taste. If you are someone who enjoys cocktail bars, these will be a let down. Overall, we had a fantastic time and it served exactly the purpose we wanted: it was relaxing and super fun, and we met really amazing people. The size of the resort was such a huge plus as it really felt personal. I will definitely be returning!

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Hyatt Ziva- One Week Stay

For the amount of money paid to stay at this resort, I would not recommend. Our room had mold around the sink and on the shower curtain. Room service did not show up regularly unless called. The food was average and themed night rarely had any food that was actually themed. However the staff was wonderful. They were polite and helpful and always had smiles on their face.
