Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Excellent vacation at Sandals Ochi

Went with a group of 8 for a week in July and joined by friends who stayed one night. From the moment we arrived at the airport till the morning we left we were treated with superb customer service from Sandals staff. Large resort with lots of options for food and we were treated very well at every restaurant. The food was delicious and well prepared. Our rooms were clean and well supplied with adequate toiletries and towels. Staff are always asking if we needed anything and would go out of their way to meet our needs. We spent most of our days at the beach soaking in the sea. Some spots are a bit rocky but we didn't need water shoes as we avoided those areas. We were able to get beds in the shade every day on the beach. We recommend this resort if you are looking to be pampered and want some time away for fun and relaxation. There is something for everyone at this resort.

Sandals Halcyon Beach: Private Caribbean Charm

I love this resort even more than I did 20+ years ago. The staff are truly amazing and work so hard to make your trip perfect. The beach is clean and calm, the pools are phenomenal. The views don’t get any better. The long winding drive to the resort is worth it. Highly recommend!

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Almost perfect

The resort was beautiful, the beach areas were well maintained, the food was fantastic, Howard at the Piano Bar makes the best drinks. The housekeeping on the other hand, not great. We arrived on Thursday and our room was not touched until Sunday night, we left Monday. Once our water in the mini fridge was replenished without asking. I had to repeatedly ask for clean towels, our garbage/dishes were not cleared away until the Sunday night. Our bed was not made until the Sunday night. Sandals Negril: Not a garden view

Tammy certainly miss directed us on this on. The resort was beautiful except that the garden view room was a view of a pillar, with a highway less than 50m away. It was loud, you couldn’t open the blinds as it was on the main floor, with everyone walking by. She should have known that and told us not to choose this room! I was so annoyed and disappointed. The beach was not 7 miles long, more like 2 km, unless you want to walk beside the highway and a barb wire fence! However, the food was go [... read more]od, the water was warm, and there were a lot of activities to keep you busy. But again, lots of boats running up and down the water front, which I found distracting from the beauty of the beach.

Sandals Royal Barbados: Loved it

Beautiful grounds and beach-our penthouse butler suite was huge-had a great view of the ocean and the infinitely pool -the food was good and would highly recommend the Bombay restaurant-the hotel staff was wonderful- very friendly, accommodating and helpful

Sandals Barbados: Great Resort. Tirelessly work for Guest Satisfaction

Its a very large complex. The lay out isn't straight forward at all. But.... the food, drink and service were unbelievable. There were some minor hiccups but they work tirelessly to ensure client satisfaction. Beach is flour like sand but rough surf and sargassum

Sandals Barbados: Fantastic resort

The hotel was beautiful. The grounds were very well kept the rooms were clean. The food was excellent. The people are lovely. We made some friends. It was one of the best holidays we had they sing us goodbye which was really nice, but they have a lot of little special touches that you’ll enjoy best holiday ever

The grounds are exceptional. It is a huge property and every bit of it is filled with. Beautiful gardens. Our Villa was much more than we expected. Many restaurants to choose from, cleanliness throughout.

Sandals Grande St Lucian: Beautiful Resort!

Grande Sandals was absolutely a beautiful resort to spend a relaxing week. There were 12 restaurants onsite, numerous bar and too many pools to count! Staff go above and beyond. Very clean and well Kept resort. Definitely recommend the Grande Lucian.

Sandals Grande Antigua: Nice resort.

The beach was beautiful and we felt safe coming and going from the beach as well as the resort. The grounds/gardens were beautiful and well tended. There was good security. We found the vendors on the beach respectful. However, our room was dated and the dresser drawers smelled musty. The bathroom had a low old-fashioned toilet in a separate small cubby-like room, requiring us to sit down on an angle so as to not bump the wall/door. The toilet area also had dirt in the corners. Oh, and part way  [... read more]through the week the water coming from the taps for 2 days came out very rusty! We reported to the front desk. No feedback form anyone on that, but the problem did seem to subside. The bed was comfortable enough but the duvet was too heavy. Our Club Med walk out was right next to the main entrance of the Med tower so very busy with pedestrian traffic and also the service golf-style carts were often zipping by and/or stopping/parking right beside us. Overall, we were disappointed with the quality of the food, especially the lunches and dinners. Most of the beef dishes were quite tough, at more than one restaurant. One night we had a chicken parm at the Italian restaurant and it was over cooked (hard/crusty) with pasta and a little sauce. Another night we found the fish and chips at the pub to be soggy. However, the buffet breakfasts were good with very good selection. For the money we spent on this vacation, our expectations were much higher with respect to the food and dining experiences. The service was variable, from excellent to poor. All people at the check-in desks were more than helpful and accommodating. Also, walking around the resort, we found the staff to be friendly and caring. Our best server for dinner was John at the OK Corral. He was very attentive and friendly. The worst service was for breakfast at Eleanor's where people who were seated well after us were served first. In the end we had to ask the server about the whereabouts of our meal. Then when it arrived, the omelet was very hot and nice but the waffles were cool and chewy like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. We had a good time, but again for the money we spent, we will be looking at other alternatives for our next vacation.

Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa: Sandals La Toc St Lucia

I’d like to start by acknowledging the wonderful staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which really enhanced our stay. The variety of restaurants were all excellent. Our favorite was Buccan, which features the local cuisine, what an amazing dining experience! The resort itself was beautiful and very well maintained. Sandals Grande St Lucian: Stunning resort

The stunning grounds are met with everyone that works there truly nice people that made this trip so relaxing with food that so so special at all restaurants outstanding service that was the best I have enjoyed at any sandals!!!!!!!

Sandals Royal Plantation: Fantastic All-Inclusive Experience!

The service, food and butlers were awesome! Only drawback was the entertainment was either great or not so great. It was too early in the evening and only lasted an hour. The pool was small but again, wasn’t an issue. It was wonderful that we could also go to the Ochi and Dunn’s River resorts. Rooms are dated but comfortable.

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Not worth the money

I recently stayed at Sandals Bahamas resort want to share some feed back. First and foremost, the primary reason for my visit was to celebrate my 25 wedding anniversary's, which I had communicated this in advance with our booking agent, However, upon my arrival, I was informed that my request had not been received. It was only after showing the email from my travel agent that the staff acknowledged the oversight. I was puzzled as to why requests are not properly communicated to the resort,  [... read more]especially when we witness other rooms had “Happy anniversary” and happy birthday” signs on their doors. I also requested an updated room but was given an outdated one. I was told that they were not sure if they could change my room next day and that I had to check back. When I did so, I was informed that they couldn’t change my room until Monday. By that time I decided to forgo the offer, as I did not want to spend another day packing and unpacking. On the third day of my stay, I received a bottle of wine and a card wishing me and my husband a happy anniversary. While I appreciated the gesture, it felt quite impersonal, as the wine was already in the room . A bucket of ice with a bottle of champagne would have been a more thoughtful touch. Moreover, the elevators in our building (west Bay Village) were not operating properly or working at all. our suite was on the 5th floor, and the elevator was not stopping on this floor for the first 3 days of our stay. We either had to go to 6th or 4th floor and use the stairs to get tour floor. This was quite inconvenient and stressful. We’re did let management know about this issue and received a $200.00 USD credit and we appreciated the gesture, but this issue should have been looked after much sooner. I was quite disappointed with the size of the beach.area was very small, and it was not possible to walk on it. There was seaweed in the front of the beach. One day there were some workers removing the seaweed, but they were throwing the seaweed back into the ocean. I believe that this not a solution as the seaweed will get back to shore and prevents us from using that portion of the beach due to seaweed. Additionally, our suite looked outdated. And did not meet my exceptions. I had made several requests when I book my trip three months prior to my departure, but none of them were fulfilled. On a positive note, I must commend the resort’s food, which was amazing. However, there was one night when it took over 2 hours for our food to be served, despite the restaurant not being very busy. When we inquired about the delay, the staff apologized, and we eventually received our meal. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sandals Grande Antigua: Antigua Resort

Beautiful location and beach. We had a newly renovated room in the sunset bluff area which I highly recommend. Service was great but the food was fair. Airport experience was not the best, I think they need to upgrade their airport.

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Ok resort

This resort needs updating especially if you r in the West End Tower. The food is good but temperature is always cool. The private island is amazing! For a Sandals resort I was expecting everything to be perfect.. a bit disappointing Tripcentral was well to work with !!

Sandals Royal Curacao: Food missed the mark

Beautiful resort friendly staff however if you are foodies (like us!) sadly, I do not reccommend this resort. It was our first Sandals and at first we were taken away with the beauty, ceanliness and service. However we quickly realized that the restaurants were not what was described in the UTube reviews or other written reviews. Breakfast buffet was fine but thats the best it got. Fish was always dry (every restauraunt) all dinners felt like they were massed produced frozen entrees. Needless to [... read more] say we were very disappointed.

Sandals Barbados: A great resort but....

We were at Sandals Barbados but really this resort and Sandals Royal Barbados is 1 big resort. It is a beautiful resort, lots of gardens and flowers. They have a great selection of restaurants, 20 in total. Loved the French restaurant on top of one of the 6 story buildings. It had a great view. Its only 15 min from the airport which is a bonus. We went off resort into Barbados 2x and it is very very safe. The only criticism I have about these 2 Sandals is that it is not in a bay, but [... read more] rather right on the ocean. When we were there the winds were high, so high that it was red flags in the ocean, and you couldn't really go in safely above your knees. When you laid on the beach you were dealing with sand blowing in your face. Also, while we were there, due to the high winds I suppose, there were absolutely no water activities. the report doesn't even have a pier at it.

Sandals Royal Curacao: We didn't want to leave!

My wife and I recently celebrated our honeymoon at Sandals Curacao and we wish we didn't have to leave! We loved every moment of our stay. The staff are extremely friendly, and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed! The Sandals Entertainment Team were fantastic! Every night there was a different entertainment event happening on the property, and it was truly impressive! We didn't get all of their names, but Elvis and "Pencil" truly made our experience special by making us feel warm an [... read more]d welcomed by providing hilarious and fun conversations every day. We will miss you guys! Our one-bedroom semi-ocean-view room in the club section was really nice. Our bed was comfortable, and the view from our balcony was nice. The only thing we didn't like was the pillows as they were too soft, so we asked if they had firmer pillows. They provided us with some different pillows, but they were still too soft. This is more personal preference and they did try to accommodate us. If you are a light sleeper like me, bring earplugs to help you sleep as the local birds are up and noisy after 6:00 AM which woke me up every day. My wife and I made the most of the free bottles of water, juice, and wine in our mini-bar fridge. My only complaint is that throughout our week-long stay our wine & champagne glasses were removed and not replaced. We spent each day at the quiet pool reading, drinking and swimming in the pool, and as the saying goes: "The early bird gets the worm". There's slim pickings for beach chairs AND umbrellas after 8:30 AM - so get up early! Bring LOTS of sunscreen and Aloe! My wife and I did two excursions - Snuba, and HATO Caves and snorkelling with turtles afterwards. Snuba was fun if you're a confident swimmer AND have experience snorkelling, but for how expensive the tour was AND how short the experience was it's hard to recommend. I cannot say enough positive things about our HATO Caves experience and snorkelling with turtles. It's a full-day experience, and our bus tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about Curacao and it's history! The caves were super cool. We saw 2 turtles and different species of fish when we were snorkelling. If you are Canadian, like us, keep the exchange rate in mind when booking your excursions as that was a nice surprise for us. My wife and I were both very impressed by the quality of the foods at the restaurants. Be sure to make dinner reservations earlier in your stay as it does get busy at those restaurants!

Sandals Negril: Sandals Negril resort

BAD. Will not recommend. I thought I was in Cuba. Terrible front desk services. Hotel management doesn’t take complaints seriously. Wait for 2 hours to get our rooms despite arrived after 2:30 pm. Typical hotel check in time is 3pm. Lack of communications and no reason was given for room availability and late check in . I will not staying at any Sandals resorts again.
