Good Times

The resort was very clean and workers were nice and most of them spoke English.. Arturo at the front desk was professional who went over and above to accommodate you..Entertainment was great Alex made sure it was fun for everyone.. Booking any incursions plan with Oscar he was very experienced and knew his stuff.. Food was good.. Drinks could have been better..

Great Fun For The Family!!

very clean and friendly hotel- lots of fun things for the kids!! Entertainment and waterpark are a lot of fun. The food was really good too, everything felt like home. The pool is always happening with music and activities.

Family trip

Thank you to all the stuff here at I love eat more resort you were all very accommodating and amazing everything was organized and fresh we had an amazing time. The only thing I would see is to make it more stroller accessible there were many stairs we had to carry the stroller up and down also going across the street to the other place was kind of a distance but overall everything was so much fun

Beautiful resort with friendly staff

The resort is older but kept in good repair and always updating things. The beach is kept in pristine state and water so warm. All the pools are kept so clean they were refreshing to swim in. I will say I loved the food here even though it's not super fancy. The vegetables are extremely fresh. Their fish and chicken are the best. They also have hotdogs and hamburgers for fussy kids. There is an amazing water park here with water slides and a giant bucket that's dumps water. It's great for little kids and big kids like me (47). This is truly great resort and the staff is so happy and friendly.

Great Small-Medium Resort

This hotel is off the main strip, which may or may not be to peoples preferences. It's a small-medium sized hotel. We checked in at night so its hard to get a real sense of the place but the following morning and of course over the length of our vacation we got to know it well. The food is good- they have theme nights for dinner and the Mexican night everyone loved. There are flexible hours for all meal times and something for everyone. The staff is friendly. The main pool is clean and we brought two 5 years olds (my son and his cousin) who had a hard time choosing between the pool, the ocean and the water park each day. The beach isn't huge but just fine for the size of the resort and they look after it by grooming the sand etc. daily. The rooms and grounds are clean and tidy. One thing to note apparently its not a well known location for North Americans. It seems more well known by South Americans. Just a point of interest- we had a good experience and my wife would like to rebook again next year. They have modest nightly entertainment as well which my family enjoyed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone not looking to book at a huge resort but still looking for all the basics. Even if we didn't bring kids we would still go back- its a relaxing destination. If you have kids all the better- between al the water based options, the kids club and the entertainment staff the kids went to bed exhausted each night.

Amazing Resort!

My spouse and two young children came and stayed at All Ritmo for one week and there was absolutely nothing to be disappointed about. The food was fantastic. Our favourite was the night they had a charcoal bbq outside, so yummy! The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Brandon and Steven who were in charge of many of the activities were so fun and personable. The water park was so perfect for the kids and the parents loved having the bar and restaurant right close by. There were beach  [... read more]activities also and the staff work hard to keep the beach nice and clean so we enjoyed the perfect white sand for all our pictures. Overall great place! 10 out of 10!

Nice Resort

We liked this resort, just steps to the beach, water was clean after a rainy day but the day still warm and the kids had lots of fun. The waterpark was nice and food option was fair... ( really picky kids) . The only bad thing is people smoking on the beach beside families with children/infants, and most of cigarettes butts end up polluting the beach send and the ocean, not a really ecologically friend for nowadays standard.

Best vacation yet!

When we arrived at All Ritmo Resort and Waterpark in Cancun, Mexico we were immediately greeted by the door man and another staff member that was very quick to assist with our luggage up the stairs. We checked in to the resort quickly and were escorted to our upgraded junior suite. Upon entering our room, we were surprised at the size but were also slightly confused as it didn’t look like the picture of the junior suite on the resort website. We noticed the room didn’t have a bar fridge. A [... read more]s soon as we mentioned this the staff member left and came back with a bar fridge on his shoulder. He plugged it in and the other staff member ran and filled it with water for us. The junior suite was on the ocean side which is the reason we upgraded so we quickly were satisfied with our room and moved on since the few things we were dissatisfied with were quickly rectified. This is my first time at a resort where the staff were this kind and quick to help. The next several days were nothing short of amazing. Our 4 year old LOVED the waterpark. We spent the mornings at the waterpark and then went and claimed our spot at the ocean for the rest of the day. One of the days, chase and Marshall from paw patrol visited the waterpark and it was quickly the highlight of my son’s trip. There were many extras like this that added to the vacation. The food was typical resort buffet food. Each night had a theme. Outside bbq, American, Italian, Mexican, And so on. There was always something we could find. Some nights we enjoyed too much! They have a little kids corner of food which always satisfied my son. He especially liked the ice cream cones and candy! The waiters and waitresses at every meal were more than helpful! Before you realized your drink was empty another one appeared before you. They were extremely kind and polite. The nightly entertainment couldn’t have been better! The music, acrobatics and choreography was amazing! Even my 4 year old was excited for ever show! One of the days we took a taxi to the ultramar ferry to the island of majures which was nothing short of breathtaking. My words won’t do the experience justice. From the ferry to renting a golf cart and touring the island to the turtle far to seeing the coastline of the Caribbean surrounding the island, it was all unbelievable! I highly recommend this to anyone going. The best part is you do it on your own time as opposed to someone else’s schedule. Before we went to this resort, we read a lot of reviews about the beach not being nice. To be completely honest, the beach did have some seaweed as the nightly weather brings it in but the staff are quick to clean it up. We had to step over some seaweed a couple times to enter the ocean but this wasn’t a huge deal to us. There is still plenty on room for a good swim and to enjoy the ocean! In closing this resort is at the top of our list to return to. You get a lot for what it costs and you won’t be disappointed.

A good resort for family

All Ritmo Cancun resort is a good resort for family, with quiet and not very long beach. My daughter likes to play table tennis with me there. The buffet place is not very big. It is away from Hotel Zone but the tours are available and can be picked up. It is close to the ferry to isla Mujeres.

Unique, quiet resort!

We loved it there! It was Clean, great food loved the buffet and fine dining! great staff they were friendly and very helpful! My kids loved the water park, fun day games put on by staff! The weather was fantastic

Watch what you pay for!

All Ritmo it's a regular 3* resort so don't have high expectations! Be aware that resort it's not located on Cancun "zone hoteliere", it's on Puerto Juarez, isolated in between some local buildings, beside a local marina, in a small lagoon so yes, you have seaweed! The beach small but nice sand, plenty of shade, beach chairs, beach towels available anytime of the day. Food is relatively ok, not very diverse but homemade style, well cooked, bbq one night out of 7, seafood every dinner, juices [... read more] not the best, good cheese, plenty of local fruits - all kinds of melons, papaya. Rooms spacious, clean, bit outdated, fridge available, bottled water supplied every day but not bar in the room and safety deposit box available for extra 2usd/day. Currency accepted is usd or their peso, at their own exchange rate, not the best and even when paying usd, change is in pesos!!!! General staff ok, just doing their jobs! Customer service sucks, people at the front desk barely speaks and understand English! We still managed to enjoy the beutiful weather, and relax and take the good from everything but very disappointed at the end as on the last night "they" stole from our room two brand parfumes, and following morning when in fact we realized they were missing and we wanted to report the receptionist telling us very indiferent that there is no one available to address the issue, the management comming to work 9 o'clock. It was the morning when we were leaving 8 o'clock for the airport!!!!! I felt so frustrated, I felt like it was an organized crime, that didn't leave you any choice and I still regret that even for just 2 stupid parfumes I didn't call the police. So, I tried my best to find the best in everything around and enjoy my vacation but I would not recommend that resort to anyone!!! !!

Good family resort

This resort is very kid friendly small nice quiet good food nice pool with jacuzzi the beach is nice but also small..overall good resort good people..it's a little bit far from downtown cancun but it's okay

Great resort for the family with kids

We vacationed with 2 kids and everything was very enjoyable. The only thing that we didn't like were the room and especially the extra beds. The mattresses were too old and uncomfortable. The room itself was clean but in need of reno. However, it didn't matter much - we still enjoyed our stay and would recommend this resort.

Small Family Resort

The good part : This is a resort for family with mostly small kids. Organized intertaiment was good during the day time and in the evening. Total nice surprise was a dinner and a show at the theater. Was awesome experience for us. Nicely decorated, food was beyond any expectation. .. And SHOW !! Mikel Jackson with a new modern twist. We really enjoyed that evening. Seaw [... read more]eed is everywhere and the water is not clear at all within 15 m around the beach. .. One morning I found big dead fish head 100 m away from our main beach entrance. We spent all our time in the pool. And I really really wanted to swim in the ocean. .. O, well. Services of every single person at the resort was SUPER GREAT !!!

Mixed Emotions

Jan 2017 - Our first impressions of this hotel were not good upon arrival. The lobby is shabby and in need of updating but we didn't intend to spend a lot of time in the lobby anyway. Our initial room was a standard room and was road side which was noisy and the bathrooms were extremely small. We quickly requested to upgrade to an ocean front room and it was the best decision we made. The rooms were kept very clean although there were issues with the shower leaking to the floor resulting in puddles of water, an easily clogged toilet and an air conditioner that konked out if it was turned down to low. However, all of these things in our books were minor inconveniences. I did, however, feel sorry for the maintenance guys that have to keep this aging resort running. We found all of the staff very friendly and accommodating. Despite what some of the reviews had to say about the food, we have travelled to many resorts (3 stars to elegant 5 stars) and we found the food good here. There was always grilled meats and lots of grilled veggies to choose from. The omelet bar every morning and the crepe bar at lunch was a hit. The bartenders and variety of drinks was very good. The beach is small and the roped off area makes it even smaller for swimming. One of the highlights was the walking proximity to the Ferry to Isla Majueres (15 mins) and to the El Meca ruin. (10mins) You can also rent seadoos ($65 US/30mins) and go parasailing at a boat rental place 10 mins up the road. There is also a van service that can take you to the local bus station for the adventurous type who want to do their own exploring. If you are travelling with children, the smallness of this resort is a bonus. You will likely always know where your kids are. (even tho the waterpark is across the road with a tunnel connection to the resort) Also, the waterpark is getting old. The slides can leave scrapes on the kids backs. For the cheap price, this resort is fine. However, if you can afford a little more, I would suggest to go to a newer resort.

Good smaller family resort

Rooms (junior suite ocean view) we clean, spacious, beautiful view. A little distance from the dense hotel district. Resort is in the small side, not very much dining but the food quality is good. Water park and surrounding activities were great for the kids, bar and washrooms on that side were really nice. Lots of activities, nice beach and I felt safe letting my nine year old explore a little on his own.

Great resort for the kiddies!

ROOMS WERE VERY CLEAN/COMFORTABLE The first room we had overlooked the street/parking lot and was located on the 3rd floor of the hotel. As we were travelling with my 74 year old Mother this was not exactly conducive. This room had 2 double beds and was also clean. But needed some updates. This room had an old TV,no balcony, no fridge, no coffee maker, no ironing board….basically NO FRILLS. I immediately went down to the front desk to ask about moving to a “standard room” on the main floor [... read more] as we were travelling with my Mom. They were incredibly accommodating. The front desk staff showed me a standard room on the main floor and offered for us to change immediately. This room was MUCH nicer than the original room. It had 2 queen size beds, a small kitchenette, flat screen TV a nice balcony (albeit it also overlooked the road), and a step down into a small living area with a pullout couch. I made the mistake of asking to see a room with an ocean view…..kiss of death!!! It was SO worth it! It had all the amenities (exact replica of the 2nd room) with a beautiful oceanview!! The upgrade was offered at an additional $25/night. It was steep….but worth it! Everything inside the room worked well. TV, phone, coffee maker, fridge, water pressure. All good! SERVICE Service was impeccable in ALL areas of the hotel. From the front desk staff, the bellhops, the bar service, food service. They even had bar service at the pools and they would bring it to your seat. I didn’t find that “tipping” was expected, but the level of service received if you tipped was top notch. Not like other destinations (like Jamaica and if you don’t have $$ out you don’t get a drink). I would say tipping was expected but it certainly was appreciated. I would recommend asking for things. Ketchup was hard to find outside of the snack bar but if you asked, it was always available. My son struggled finding things to eat outside of the snack bar and a couple of times I asked for peanut butter to make him a sandwich. Never a problem. GENERAL CLEANLINESS Overall you could tell the hotel spent considerable resources on maintaining the level of cleanliness in both the inside of the resort as well as the pool areas, washrooms etc. They maintained the beach by raking at least 2-3 times a day. It was VERY windy while we were there so there was some wash up but it was tended to and removed. The landscaping was also immaculate. It was incredibly overgrown in and around they have done an amazing job with the upkeep. FOOD This would be one of the only areas they really need to improve upon. I would say the food was “hit and miss”. Breakfast was always good. Everyone was able to find lots of things to enjoy. Same with lunch….although most days we had lunch at the snack bar so the kids were incredibly happy. Hot dogs, hamburgs (were REALLY good), chicken nuggets, French fries, finger foods. They also always had fruits and veggies. We did eat at the buffet at lunch a few days as well and the food was decent. I usually had no problem finding something to eat. Large selection of salad fixings which was where we usually landed at that time of the day. Dinner…..different story. The buffet was monotonous and the temperature of the food could have been much better. But again. hit and miss. Some nights were really good….some nights it was difficult to find something for everyone. That being said. We never went hungry! The a’la carte restaurants were few and far between. They only had 3 available at the resort and they rotated so each night was a different night. We tried the Mexican. It was a fail….for everyone! We also attended the Italian and it was the best meal we had all week……but that wasn’t saying much!!! ENTERTAINMENT Staff was very friendly but there wasn’t much interaction with the guests. They had nightly shows in the theatre across the road which weren’t great…..but the kids enjoyed them. They did have a dinner/show on Saturday night which was Michael Jackson. This was by far the best night of entertainment, but the food was a miss this night. Overall, we had a great time. I would say the information provided by tripadvisor was on par with this resort. It is a very small resort which made experiences with other travellers intimate. You really got to know who everybody was and so did the kids which was great for them. The pools were shallow enough that you didn’t have to be in the water with them. Although they could have been a tad bit warmer. The waterpark was AMAZING!!! We spent most of our days over there as the kids had a great time!!! This resort (other than the food) is completely geared towards the kids. I would NOT recommend this resort to those travelling without kids. in my opinion, I would rate this hotel overall at 3.5 stars. The service for me could bump this to a 4 star.

Exceeded expectations!

This was a family vacation with our 5 year old daughter. First time doing an all inclusive. We had read all the reviews about this resort before we booked. We were very pleasantly surprised. When we arrived we asked for a room upgrade and received it. The staff throughout the resort were all amazing! Great service, very friendly and fun group of staff. The entertainers were especially great, Josua even had dinner with us one night. We would definitely recommend this resort to everyone! The resort itself is small compared to many others but lends itself to be a very intimate and personal experience as you get to know all the staff personally. The staff do an amazing job keeping the resort clean including the seaweed on the beach every morning. The food is good but does become repetitive and boring as the week goes on. Also they advertise that the resort has 4 restaurants when it only has two with the themes changing daily. The snack bars however were very good! The nightly shows were great, well done and often very funny. The entertainment staff do a great job of getting all the visitors involved in the shows and daily activities. We will definitely be returning!

Warning!!! Worst Resort Ever!!!

We just got back in Sunday from Mexico. We checked in in the 14th of June and checked out the next day and spent a wonderful stay at the Sandos Caracol. Do not waste your money at All Ritmo, very dirty, very small, food was horrible And resort was very small

Great for kids

Awesome for kids, Waterpark can be a little crowded. Actually have the activities they claim kn the website. Attended with a party of 7, they accommodated at all times for dinners, etc. Staff was friendly and there were no late night drunk partyers
