A little piece of paradise.

Spending time at a resort is always a great way to unwind and relax, but sometimes it can be hard to find the perfect one. That's why I was so excited to visit a resort that met all our needs: a beautiful beach, great service, and so much more! Upon arrival at Bougainvillea, we were greeted by the friendly staff, and after a quick check-in, we were escorted to our room. Stepping out onto our veranda, we were presented with stunning views of the resort grounds and the beach. But what really made my experience at the resort so wonderful was the fantastic service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and eager to help. Whether I needed a recommendation for a local restaurant or a fresh towel for the beach, they were always happy to assist. Overall, my time at the resort was truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. With its beautiful beaches, great service, and countless amenities, there's truly something for everyone to enjoy!

Beautiful resort

Resort is in a great location on a beautiful beach. Lush grounds, and great pools. The lighting around the resort in the evening is really lovely. Resort in the evening is quiet and there is often some entertainment until 10pm.The food is pretty average and somewhat expensive, but to be fair, food in Barbados is generally expensive. The staff at the resort are friendly. Overall a lovely tranquil resort. Suitable for an older crowd.

Beyond expectations

Marvelous resort. Very modern and clean. Beach is very sandy; no pebbles or seashells and no seaweed or rocks. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return. If you go, ask for a ground level room as its 'balcony' blends into the pool deck and the ocean is just a few steps away.

We had a wonderful time!

Bougainvillea Beach Resort was very clean and staff were very friendly. It's a small resort in comparison to a place like Sandals so there are only 2 restaurants; however, that wasn't an issue for us because we prefer a less crowded environment. The food at both restaurants was excellent and we didn't have problems with getting reservations. The Concierge was helpful in organizing a Food Tour in Bridgetown which was a lot of fun. It's just the right distance from the Gap...easy to get there b [... read more]ut a lot quieter. Lovely beach and pool...comfortable chaise loungers. Just be aware that there aren't any elevators...it's a long walk to the top floor...but bell hops are available to help with carrying up your luggage.

Great resort

The hotel was lovely with very nice recently decorated rooms. The beach was clean and the staff always helpful with towels and beach umbrellas. The entire staff throughout the resort were friendly and extremely helpful. Lance the food manager, and Jose Manuel at the beach bar were the most delightful people you would want to meet. My only request would be a bit more variety in the restaurants however the food was very enjoyable

Relaxing Resort for a Small Family

The Bougainvillea Resort was a very nice and relaxing resort on a beautiful stretch of white sand beach with stunning blue water. The rooms were well furnished and the grounds were well maintained. There are two restaurants on the property that had good quality food. My only complaint would be that the food was very pricy. There is a supermarket close by which you can get to by cab, but once again the cost of food and booze even at the supermarket was pricy. Make sure u have plenty of cash on h [... read more]and for your food and sightseeing. Truly Everything on the island seems to be pricy!! There is also no volleyball net on the beach in front of the hotel to enjoy, and really not much for teenagers to do other than bodysurf on the water, as the water is too rough to spend time in the kayaks or paddle boards that are available. Overall it was an enjoyable vacation, although I think next time we are in Barbados, we will most likely try an all inclusive.

Good value for your money.

This is our second time staying at Bougainvillea Beach Resort. The staff is very helpful, polite and friendly. They would go out of their way to help if they can. The grounds are well kept. The room is very comfortable and the cleaning staff do a very good job. My only recommendation would be that the kitchen staff not fry most of the items on the buffet breakfast. Otherwise, everything was very good. Location is ideal and within walking distance to Oistins and St. Lawrence Gap.

Great Resort

Very well maintained and clean throughout! Lovely gardens, nice restaurants and beautiful beach. Booked a studio and was upgraded to a suite on the 4th floor. Beautiful view overlooking the Caribbean Sea! Breakfast buffet was excellent and is a definite must if you are planning a stay. We took advantage of the kitchenette, purchasing food at the local grocery store and fresh fish at the market just a 20 minute walk to town. Area is very safe and locals are friendly. Amazing place to spend a week

The hotel was beautiful the junior suite was fantastic.the beach was amazing. This one is special.

Luxury Caribbean beach resort hotels are much the same: sand in the sun, ocean, beach chairs, shaded deck, lounge, bar, outdoor dining, beach staff, umbrellas, big towels and the like. Two factors made the Bougainvillea special for us: both having to do with people: the guests and the staff. The guests were a relatively quiet, friendly and polite; the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, from the front desk to the dining room, cleaners to managers: top marks. Special mention to Lance M [... read more]orris spoke to us at most meals and to Mark Springer was very helpful when we arrived. The front desk responded immediately (without consultation with superiors) when, on check-in, I suggested that a ground floor room would be better for my arthritic knees. Thanks to all!

The Best for Us

We a return visitors and will come back again the food is tasty and good the service is reasonable the rooms are tidy the staff is extremely friendly the beach was terrible with all the rocks and ruining our walk

Wonderful place

Great beach, nice pool with bar, good open air dining rooms with choice of menu or self service. Nicely appointed rooms and suites with ocean and pool views. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Ground transport, taxi and mini bus available on short notice.
