Improved since a year ago

We have gone to this resort 8 times now, and would rate it very good. They have installed a floating barrier well off the beach which keeps most of the sargassum weed from coming ashore. Also, since last year, the coati population is much lower, and they have put simple locks on the garbage cans to try to keep the animals out, but they are smart enough to defeat the locks. Good try, but better locks would help a lot more. Also, they need to have more highly visible signs to discourage people fr [... read more]om feeding them.

Overstate selection Paraíso lindo

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. I thought their entertainment at the pool was really fun. The food was delicious. The pool setup was very nice. All the different pools. Lots of chairs. If we wanted to suggest anything we would say absolutely nothing. It was all wonderful.

Boys golf getaway

The iberostar hotel complex is extremely large and offers a variety of dining options, activities, and leisure. The golf course is well groomed and challenging. The shotgun start is ideal for everyone to play in the morning. The hotel rooms were large, clean with portions remodeled. Specialty restaurants, lack some authenticity in the food that they prepared. Overall, the iberostar is definitely a destination choice.

Awesome vacation

Our family (2 adults, 13 year old daughter and 10 year old son) stayed at the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo in early March 2026. We had an amazing time and loved the resort. Vibrant pool scene, kids loved the water slides and we spent hours in the lazy river. We also enjoyed just walking around the complex, there’s a lot to see. Amazing resort

The resort was amazing right from the start. We were a party of 12, ages from 7 to 67 years old. Everyone found things they liked to do. Everyone was a fan. We would definitely recommend this resort.

Amazing Resort!

There was so much to do at the resort! We could either choose to relax or join in on the many activities offered. The resort is very clean and we always felt safe no matter where we were on the resort - Extremely kid friendly! The staff are amazing- so friendly and helpful! We would definitely travel back! ?

Amazing Family Resort!

After staying in several different all inclusive resorts in Mexico, this is by far our favourite! We will be back! The resort was super accommodating to our family, including infant. The beach was pristine, and they had great activities, suitable for all ages.

Stunning Resort!

I honestly cannot say one bad thing about my stay at the Iberostar. Service was great, and everything in between! All the entertainment, cleanliness, service, I would 100% recommend to anyone :) Had an amazing time!

Great resort for families!

We had a great time at the Lindo. The resort is massive and contains many pools, restaurants, and things to do. The pools are awesome. There is a wave pool, a lazy river, and water park and slides. We found the ocean to be rough and did not swim in it, but we enjoyed walking on the beach and sand. The food was very good as well. We would return!

Great visit

Many evening restaurant options. Buffet had an assortment of foods. Really enjoyed the Greek restaurant. Lots of shops available. great 2 double bed room and sister stayed in a king room - both with terraces. Walk in shower amazing. Lots of water play options for my kid however lazy river needs more jets to keep flow. Wish there were snacks in the room and wished for evening swimming

Lovely resort

We enjoyed our week at the resort. Some highlights although there were many...the beautiful ocean, sandy bottom, gentle waves, great for being in the sea..(not enough chairs to be had..every day was a struggle that way)...some amazing dining experiences, even the main buffet but i will name Museo, the Japanese Resaurant that you needed reservations for, and the Greek restaurant as being at the top of our list... Easy to walk everywhere...but there were shuttle carts if needed. comfortable room [... read more]s especially bed and up to date bathroom so no problems there..liked the emphasis on the environment and less plastic, really appreciated the concierge communication so easily on the App..helped answer the simplest of questions quickly or got us help quickly for the safe, towels, etc...Any questions or needs were answered immediately..pretty impressive. Staff as always were wonderful. We had out last buffet lunch on the day we were leaving which was the last meal we had that day..and suddenly on the plane ride home to Toronto several hours later, i became very sick on the plane..thank heaven for those little white bags in the seat storage..i was very sick for a few days, also in the airport..not nice when there is a lineup in the washroom. I expect something i ate at lunch..small bit of an egg dish..not hot, not cold..everything else was what i had enjoyed every day and had been fine. But inspite of that, i really enjoyed the resort and i would go back.

Excellent Resort

We recently came back from staying one week at the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo resort in Mexico. It was a great place! The food was good, the grounds and rooms were very well maintained, and the service was impeccable. The app was a great way to get information about activities as well as communicate with guest services. We would highly recommend this resort and can't wait to return!

Very relaxing holiday!

My longtime friend and I really enjoyed our 9 night stay at Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo in February 2025. Our garden view room was generally comfortable, though the air conditioning did not seem to cool the room sufficiently during the nights. The buildings, grounds and pools were lovely and well maintained. There was a wide variety of architectural styles, making exploring the resort a real design pleasure. The French and fine dining restaurants were excellent; however our steak house experience was disappointing. Sorry to say that we were not able to enjoy swimming in the ocean due to rough seas and winds.

Fun and relaxing

Great food and pools. Beach was very crowded but enjoyable. Restaurants were easy to get a table at. Quality of food at buffet and restaurants was very good. Location was a bit isolated, though everything you need was more or less there.

Nice resort...but not for me anymore

This is our 4th time back to this resort. In many ways it has improved....still has beautiful grounds , very very eco friendly, clean rooms and good food. Where it has gone down ( in my opinion) is the entertainment. Pool side activities are just ok....staff use to be so much fun and interactive. We love the water aerobics but when it came time , we had to actually find the staff to see if it was going to happen...the guy who ended up running it looked like he didn't want to be there...gru [... read more]mpy. And note to staff...aqua zumba is not aqua aerobics. Also missing is the Mall. It's still there , but all the artisan shops have been replaced with food joints and expensive boutiques. Very disappointing. Might return one day , but not likely. Lovely place , but not for me anymore.

Amazing Resort

We stayed at Paraiso Lindo hotel a the beginning of December 2024. The room was good, clean and was cleaned every day in a proper way. I could appreciate the food. It was at the next level. All 7 days I enjoyed fish and seafood excellent cooked. And sweets and fruits and everything. 10 out of 10. What was under my expectations was the night entertainment. Almost nothing. And considering you don't have much to do around that's a minus

3rd time to this complex and we will be back - Iberostar Pariaso Lindo

We just returned back from a wonderful week at the Lindo Hotel, stayed April 14-21st. We went with our two teenagers and had two rooms booked. Since we pay the adult rate for both kids now being 13 and 17, it is the same price to book 2 rooms or 1. We emailed in advance to ask for rooms side by side or adjoining rooms. We were informed via email that the adjoining rooms would be extra and were prepared to pay for them. Our flight with WestJet was uneventful which is perfect and our private  [... read more]transfer with Kalido was wonderful (cost $100 USD return). We waited about 30 minutes for baggage arriving on a Sunday around 1:00pm, customs took no time at all. Upon arrival at the hotel we paid an extra $50 USD per night and received newly renovated family suite rooms in building 54 on the ground floor. I was thrilled as that is exactly what we wanted. The location was perfect and ground floor is my favourite. The resort was busy, they desperately need more bartenders! Only 1 at the swim up bar all week, that guy was so busy all day, every day. Actually only 1 bartender at most of the bars, so there was always a long line up for drinks. Insulated mugs are a must so you don't have to wait in that line too much. Food was incredible. I got most of the restaurant reservations we wanted which I booked right away with the concierge, except one night. I checked the app a few times and a 6pm at Hashiru the Japanese restaurant opened up and we took it. I was not impressed with the buffet, it was just busy all week, no matter what time we went. I guess not enough staff to keep up as the service was slow. The food at the buffet was good, but it was just not an enjoyable meal with so many people in lines and kids running all around the place. We ate at the following: Buffet Dinner first night - it wasn't my thing, so we did not go back for dinner. It was just really really busy so not too enjoyable for us. El Museo Gourmet - it's a new menu now, not a set menu and it was delicious, one of our favourite meals Lemon & Spices - this one was my favourite, I love Greek food Hashiru - we went for the kids, but personally it is the same show at every resort, when it is just my husband and I, we would skip it Under the Sea - service was great, the sculptures are wonderful and the food there was really tasty El Rancho - excellent food, we could just eat that bread all night and be happy Olivetti Italian - this was excellent as well, I had the sea bass with risotto, so good. We participated in activities throughout the week, but mostly kept to ourselves. We had many trips around the lazy river, which yes is lazy but we loved it. Lots of shade in the lazy river, so it was nice to be in there. The wave pool we used, but it is really geared to the young kids, it is just not that deep. The main pool and the waterslides were perfect for our teens. My biggest disappointment was the beach. The beach itself is great, but with red flags every single day, the water was not swimmable. It is really rough water on that whole stretch of resorts, we knew this coming in, and that is why the lazy river and waterslides are a big plus here. We booked one tour through Nexus (Westjet/Sunwing) and decided we will never book with them again. The tour was not as described only visiting 1 coral reef and not 3, they did not provide any snacks or lunch which they said they would, and they did not provide return transportation to the hotel. They left you stranded at their location so you could spend more money on food and drinks and souvenirs. Next time, I would book a tour through a private company like Kalido. Overall the week was exceptional, it was our third trip to this complex, first two times we stayed at Maya. Staying at the Lindo, I did not feel as though I missed a thing, it was perfect. We stayed at the Maya previously as there were 4 of us in 1 room and I wanted the extra space. Now that we get two rooms, kids are 13 and 17, we don't need each room to be bigger and having two bathrooms is a big plus. We met and friended one of the star friends named Franco. He really made my son's week. He has been there for about 5 years now and is really a gem on the resort, this guy deserves a raise! Do not hesitate to book Lindo, you will have a wonderful week.

Loved the resort

The buffet was terrific—wonderful food The kids club for our grandchildren, 2 seven year olds and one five year old, was great, they loved going and often didn’t want to leave A very well organized resort— they responded immediately to any requests All in all, a wonderful time had by all And Air Transat’s flight, pick up and delivery were excellent, far superior to Air Canada Vacations last year

Good food, great service, and an overall great vacation!

We are a middle aged couple and visited the Iberostar Paradiso Lindo in February and we really enjoyed our stay. It's a beautiful resort, with great food, and great staff. Overall, we had a wonderful time. We booked this knowing it was a family resort, and I will say there are a lot of children. For the most part, they didn't bother us. It would have been nice to have an adults only or quieter pool in the main area, but in all honesty this resort is so big you could easily seek that out if you w [... read more]ere willing to walk a little further away from the main area. We loved the animals and wildlife and the steakhouse, Mexican resto, and Mexican lunch buffet is a must!
