Good Resort
I will give it a 6 in 10 the atmosphere was nice . The room very quiet and spacious and clean . The restaurants not that great but the staff very friendly. We didn’t like the beach at all , that what really bothered us they didn’t clean the sargasso until the last day So we didn’t get to enjoy it .
Princess review
Everything was lovely. Could have done without the giant cockroaches in the room first morning but in fairness we were on the ground floor. Service people were very friendly and helpful. Grounds were beautiful and well kept. A lot of pride goes into the appearance and upkeep.
Punta Cana Princess
Nice hotel although a little dated. Staff were lovely. The food was delicious. The buffet and à la carte restaurants were clean and the food was fresh. Our room was clean and spacious. The grounds were well looked after. Steps to the ocean. There was a lot of seaweed on the beach, it would have been nice if it was raked daily.
Perfect
We were pleasantly surprised with this resort. The things we loved: small resort, amazing staff, good food, very well groomed grounds and amazing beach. Only 2 things we didn’t love: we had room 5012, we loved this room, however it has 2 single beds. The first bed is completely wore out and needs to be replaced. Very uncomfortable and needs a new pillow as well and when guests play their booth tooth at the beach. We loved the beach and go there to relax and listen to the waves, not someone’s pl [... read more]
Resort
Public grounds are beautiful and well maintained , pool area requires more umbrellas, at least double the current amount. We had to go out at 5am every day to claim an umbrella with towels. Beach area was great and had friendly security presence everyday, lots of shade under the tiki huts . Rooms are very very tired with dated furniture hard, lumpy mattress. Shower has dirty grout lines, definitely needs cleaning and maintenance. Resort has excellent restaurants and food and ability to use resta [... read more]
Quite Resort
The Punta Cana Princess resort was exceptionally well-maintained. The grounds were meticulously manicured. The rooms were stunning, complete with a jacuzzi that we enjoyed every night. The dining experience was good but no seafood at the buffet. My favorite was at the Fondue House, Steak (fajitas excellent) and Italian Restaurant. Reservations were not necessary. Guests also had the privilege of visiting both sister resorts. If you were interested in shows, visiting the other resorts was a must. [... read more]
Property amazing, rooms are terrible
Just got back from Punta Cana Princess. I always read the reviews prior to going anywhere, but, everyone has their own opinions, you just can't please everyone. Positives - property is just stunning, staff is wonderful, zero complaints there, food is plentiful and okay, very out dated but clean, steak house is amazing. Trolly service was awesome, and a huge bonus f [... read more]
Excellent resort for adult
The only small thing is that the pool music base was too hight and close at 12pm. Food was good but enought sea food. Services were excellent. Room very clean. No mouskito. No sand fly. Excellent customer services. Excellent cleaning lady services

Beautiful beach!
Staff were lovely and went out of their way to help you. The room was clean upon arrival and cleaned daily. Most things worked (air conditioner was very loud , overhead shower worked , hand held did not). The food and service were both quite good. A issue that definitely needs to be addressed is that there were insufficient lounge chairs for guests (or some guests”saved ‘ more than they needed ?? ie two at beach, two at pool) , this was exceptionally frustrating (& not an issue I have run in [... read more]
Rejuvenating, and restorative destination
Punta Cana Princess was the perfect place to rejuvenate and escape from a cold winter. This small adult only resort had all of the amenities needed to escape. Everything was located within reasonable walking distance. The grounds were beautifully maintained and cleaned daily. The hotel rooms, although aged, were tidy and comfortable. The pool area was clean and was never overcrowded. The beach was only a few steps away from the pool area, and there were ample chairs for guests to claim in the mo [... read more]
Very Relaxed Vibe, Great Staff, more like a 3+Star
Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Punta Cana Princess. The staff are all wonderful and go above & beyond to provide anything you desire. The resort is small, average age is 40+, relaxed vibe, some night life/music but no disco. Beach area is lovely and nice big pool, you don't feel crowded in any area. The resort definitely needs upgrades to the rooms, fixtures and decor are very dated & showing signs of wear and tear. Beds are ok, pretty standard resort mattresses. Rooms are very clean, ho [... read more]
Clean, quiet, pretty resort
Small, clean, quiet, pretty resort. Grounds and pool immaculate. Rooms a bit tired and worn but bright and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.Food not outstanding but access to resort next door provides variety of restaurants. If you are looking for a quiet holiday where everything is within easy walking distance this is your spot.
Beautiful Beach and Great Staff
The grounds and beach are well maintained. The food is good and the staff are great. The rooms are in dire need of updates but bearable based on the limited amount of time spent in the room. There was a couple of problems with leaking pipes and lack of hot water several times.
Always amazing
This is our 4th time staying at the Punta Cana Princess and it never fails to disappoint. Plenty of variety to choose from for every meal at the buffet. A-la--carts do not require reservations and have been updated. The food choices are delicious. The staff are all very friendly and most speak English. The beach is beautiful but beware, due to water levels rising, it is not as vast as it used to be. You also don't have to wake at the crack of stupid to reserve a chair unless you want an umbrella [... read more]
Not the 50th Anniversary we'd hoped for
We had booked a Deluxe Honeymoon Suite at the Punta Cana Princess to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The first night we were given a room that was right next to the ventilation fans for the resort's kitchen. The roof on the suite was thatched so odours came through. That night all we could smell was fish and hot oil. Next morning we asked for a room change. When we were asked why we told the concierge who replied "yes, we're aware of that problem." We were given another suite in a [... read more]
Great time at PuntaCana Princess!
This hotel was everything we’d hoped for - beautifully kept grounds, AMAZING beach and friendly staff! Don’t listen to all the negative reviews. Sure, the buildings are a little tired and the bathroom fixtures aren’t shiney anymore. But the price reflects that and we feel it was money well spent. We loved the quiet atmosphere, with the option to party it up at the sister resort. We’ll definitely be going back, and highly recommend this resort to all our friends!
Nice and small resprt
The resort is a nice size. The grounds are nicely kept and staff work very hard and are friendly. We are not ‘foodies’ and found the Italian and Tex-Mex restaurants were good. The main buffet was better than the beach one. One complaint, but it is everywhere, needing to get up at 5:30 to get lounge chairs by the pool. Not how I want to spent our vacation. Lots of sargassum, but staff tried to clean the beach…just too much of it. Nightlife, if you want one, this place is not for you..but we [... read more]
Punta cana princess
Food was horrible Staff was good Beach was nice Entertainment was boring just dancing Only made are beds Will never recommande this hôtel ça se of the food was worse the Cuba ………….,,,, been in Punta cana 10 years and was very Disappointed
Nice quiet resort
What we like most about this resort is the size. The buffet is never crowded; the beach has plenty of palapas and chairs, as long as you “reserve” a spot before 9; you have access to the two sister resorts next door, with reservations at their a la carte restaurants available through guest services in the PCP lobby; the grounds are well kept; the staff is super friendly; the rooms are a bit dated but clean and the a/c kept our room at about 25C. It was our second stay and I’d definitely go back.
