Outdated rooms, beautiful beach, good food, good entertainment, Bavaro beach fantastic quality and excellent games on the beach. Variety of food, number of restaurants and bars, entertainment all very good.

Amazing Vacation

Majestic Colonial is a wonderful resort. Beautiful beach, lush grounds, amazing friendly staff. Food was great. Rooms are lovely, just tired. We were told the resort is closing for renovations, after they are done this will be an amazing place to vacation. Upgraded to Colonial Club and had a great experience. Had a wonderful butler, Willnier. Would recommend!

Amazing and vey clean resort

Very very impressed with the whole resort. The staff was very good especially our butler Luis. We were well taken care of . The room service was good. The only problem was when people returning to rooms late at night and making noise. Very in considerate A few of my freinds are already interested in visiting the resort in Dec

Wonderful resort

The Majestic Mirage is a first class resort. The resort is clean throughout. The food is amazing as there is lots of variety. The staff is wonderful as they are there to see you have great service and look after your needs. They truly want to help you enjoy your vacation.

A great resort

This is a beautiful resort. Very clean. A beautiful big clean beach. You can walk on soft sand. There are activities available. Great drinks. The food was very good and fresh. The staff were available to help. The Theatre was big and had good entertainment. The disco was small but we had fun there. The Sports bar was small but had good food and the staff were nice. Great getaway destination!

The Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana was a great destination for us! The grounds are very well kept, the food is amazing the staff are friendly and helpful, they even had Canadian Club whisky and clamato juice for cocktails! The spa was a great treat for us but the cost being in US dollars is not ideal for any Canadian!

Love majestic colonial

Great hotel. Close to airport. Beach and pool beautiful. Ate breakfast and lunch everyday at the ocean front restaurant. Steak twice delicious! Worth the extra money for club if travelling with no kids. The lounge is great plus bonus bigger towels with no card! Will definitely go back Never have an issue finding seats. Staff very grateful and friendly

Amazing resort

We had a few hiccups over our room which the Majestic immediately resolved. The service ,food and experience at the Majestic Colonial was among the top Vacations we have ever had. Our butler went beyond all expectations

Very nice resort.

The entire resort was extremely well kept. The gardens, pools, beach area, restaurants, social areas were spotless. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The "ala cart" restaurants were exceptional, and even the food quality at the main buffet was great.

The staff were very friendly always smiling or singing. The food was amazing always fresh, flavourful, with a variety of choices for everyone’s palate. The grounds were very well maintained. The pools were never overcrowded. The beach was beautiful the sand was clean there was some seaweed but not enough that you couldn’t enjoy the beach. The daily activities were very enjoyable and the entertainment staff do an amazing job to get everyone to participate. The nightly entertainment shows were awe [... read more]some. The only complaint we have was not getting the proper room when we arrived and after being told it would be corrected but never was. That is the only thing I have to say was disappointing. I would definitely return to this resort without hesitation. Also after meeting many other people who were on their 3rd or 4th or 14th time returning to this resort tells me that we are not the only ones who have the same opinion that The Majestic Colonial Resort is the place to be for your vacation.

Great resort and beaches

- this was our 2nd visit to Majestic Colonial -VIP club - - Checking in took a lot longer than necessary (1-2hrs) - arrived at our room to find out that it wasn't what we requested (two beds, ground floor). We were on the 4th floor and only one bed. We had to wait for our luggage to get up to the room, then wait for them to find us another room. We couldn't leave the room until our luggage arrived. Then we had to go down to guest services and get our bracelets changed and then go to our new ro [... read more]om. - butler was not very attentive, so I had a little chat with her and let her know what was expected from her and how she could improve for the benefit of other guests. After this chat she was excellent!! - a la carte meals were excellent. - buffets had lots of selection - beaches were amazing!!! - it was difficult to find chairs / cabanas. There were a lot with towels on them, but no one was around. This has nothing to do with the resort, but more to do with guests

Great Family Decompression Vacay

Loved the rooms (had swim up suites) and the friendliness of the staff. The suites are large, clean and nicely spaced out. There is a ton of seating so even though it was a busy time (December school break) there was always a lounger available. There are a lot of bars and the bartenders are entertaining and eager to serve. The food at the steakhouse and fine dining was the best. We were underwhelmed by the food and service in the Italian restaurant and seafood restaurant for dinner but the  [... read more]seafood restaurant is a breakfast buffet in the morning that cant be beat in terms of choice of food and scenery. We used the spa and really enjoyed the hydrotherapy with our group and played a round of golf that was fun as well. Entertainment was available every evening and that was good amusement. Our first time at the resort and will visit again.

Enjoyable Week

Enjoyed most aspects of this hotel. The food sometimes could have been better. Roast pork, beef, and lamb at the buffets was disappointingly tough and dry. A couple of the specialty restaurants weren’t great.

Very nice resort!

Very good place to relax and enjoy your vacation. Good food in the buffet and also in restaurants. The room was cleaning every day. The staff was very friendly. Beautiful and large pools. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great Stay at the Majestic Colonial

Just returned from 7 days stay at the Majestic Colonial Club section. Overall a fantastic stay at a resort that provides everything you need to enjoy your vacation! The resort is beautifully maintained and the service was one the best that we have experienced at any all inclusive hotel. Beach and pools are well maintained and have an abundance of chairs and shade. We utilized our assigned butler for the first time and Breymer “B” was fantastic and always available to help! We will definitely be returning to the Majestic Resorts.

Amazing Resort

This was our 5th trip to the Majestic Resorts. Twice at Colonia and three times at Elegance. No matter which one you chose you will be happy. The staff is amazing, the grounds are mature and beautiful, the pool is so long and nice, the food gets better at every visit, and the beach is wonderful. The pool is cleaned meticulously every morning, the rooms and resort is very clean. There are some that post about the seaweed on side of the beach. Note that this is early in the mornings and the r [... read more]esort cleans it all up by 8 am. There is no negative here. We’ve been to several resorts since 2009 (every year) in Cuba, Mexico and Dominican, and have decided that Majestic Punta Cana is our home away from home. We are returning at the end of April 2026 with our adult children and spouses. This will be their first time at Majestic and we can’t wait to show them.

Would return again

The rooms are quite spacious and are kept clean. The staff are very attentive and are always working hard at their jobs. The grounds are beautiful, very walkable with lots of trees, flowers and vegetation. We were there for American Thanksgiving and there was a lovely turkey buffet. We were also there for the Christmas tree lighting and the resort put on a great performance with singers and dancers to celebrate the beginning of the season. Nice Resort

The resort was very nice. Loved the beach. Rooms are a bit dated. Food wasn’t the greatest though. Reminded me of Cuba Food. The pool area was nice but it would have been nice to see the entertainment staff entertain people in the pool area. I don’t think I will go back to Dominican done it twice now. Food, accommodation, beach entertainment is important to me.
