The rooms are clean and spacious. Mini fridge is always well socked. Turn down service and fresh pool towels in my room each evening. Room service, fabulous restaurants and a pool side food truck. The staff are friendly. Overall a great resort

Awesome resort and service

The grounds of the resort were beautiful and clean. The food was outstanding from the buffet to the fine dining dinners. Every meal was gourmet perfection. Coffee at L' Cafe was a wonderful start to the day with every kind of beverage available. The staff throughout the resort were very friendly, accommodating and attentive. We wish we had booked a longer stay.

We have been too many many resorts and come back to the Valentin every time. The staff are truly wonderful people. The food beyond amazing. It is our home away from home. We have done couples, Sandals, Rui, etc. and always come back home just love it

Amazing service

Recently stayed for 5 days with my wife. The staff were super friendly and serve us like royalty. All the food we ate was great. The grounds were immaculate and had a great diversity of birds and wildlife.We would definitely recommend this resort for a laid back vacation and I would absolutely consider return here.

Truly 5 Star - Valintin Imperial Maya

From check in until checkout, Valentin meets all the criteria of what you wish your Mexican holiday to be. Located about 30 minutes from Cancun airport. Immediately upon arrival, the bell staff are at the ready to take your bags as you go to register. As you are seated at registration, a server greets you with a cool cloth and a refreshing drink of the day. Registration is completed quickly and you are sent on your way on a golf cart with your bags already loaded, to your assigned room. A key card provides your entry to the room while the bell man delivers your bags and provides a review of the room amenities. All buildings have an elevator making all rooms accessible. Everything at the resort is within a 5 - 10 minute walk on paved pathways. As an adult only all inclusive resort, food and beverages are one of several highlights of your stay. From in room refrigerator to meet your needs, to a large buffet with choice of seating in air conditioning or outdoor, you are seldom in want of nourishment. For evening dining there are 5 a la carte restaurants to meet most appetites - French, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Mediterranean. No reservations required except for Tappanyani. In our 8 night stay, our longest wait to be seated was about twenty minutes, but more often walking right in. Following dinner at 9 pm there was a different themed show in the theatre. All were enjoyable performances. The theater show is followed by live music in the plaza for easy listening or dancing. During the day, the main pool is the centre of attraction and activities. If you are looking for a quieter day there is a separate quiet pool and another lazy river area to occupy your time. The main beach area has sufficient palapas and loungers for shade. The sand is soft and does not get too hot even in the direct sun in the afternoon. Walking the beach is possible in both directions to get your excercise if desired. Use of your phone is a priority to see the schedules of the day for activities at the pool or on the beach; restaurant menus and if a particular venue is closed for an evening. The only paper copies of the daily activity is located at the concierge desk in your building. This is truly a top notch Mexican resort, well worth the cost.

Amazing Resort !!!

This is my 5th time going to the Valentine ! By far my favorite resort in Mayan Riviera ! The grounds are beautiful, the restaurants are absolutely amazing and the service, absolutely the best ! Will return again for sure !

We are repeaters and have been coming back for the last 14/15 years ... for a reason: outstanding service, great food/restaurants and entertainment (caters to many generations), and a ubiquitous management presence. Luxury

Our 3rd visit and was still a gorgeous resort, food is top notch! Don’t care too much for the entertainment as once you’ve seen these shows it’s the same every time. Service is top notch and worth purchasing the prive package with the perks.

Valentin Imperial Riveira Maya

The resort was beautiful. A+++. It, in many cases, exceeded expectations. The grounds were beautiful, very earthy, full of wildlife and private, which is exactly what I like. The options for pools, the large fun pool, another pool for laps or just hanging out while still able to hear the music from the large pool was great, and then of course the golden pool, which is like a lazy river, was wonderful because it also had access to snacks and drinks and a really laid back vibe. The live music before and after the show was current and felt perfect for the vibe of the resort. The live shows were good, and with updates to the venue would improve their appeal. The service everywhere was abundant, and everyone made you fee truly special. Having access to quick room service (45 minutes) was awesome. The variety of food as well as its flavors was excellent, and the service wonderful. Wish the waves were not so abundant the week we were there, but the beach was also very beautiful. The Best

The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Food in all restaurants are top notch. Entertainment staff and all staff very friendly and professional. Always a smile on their faces. The pool is massive and so much fun to hang out all day long.

Paradise in Mexico

Check in excellent. They were able to put us and my sister in law and brother in law in the same building and floor. They had us initially in separate buildings. Buffet lunch was awesome as were the margaritas. Back to lobby and wished off to our rooms. Junior suites in building 4. Rooms are large and so so nice . Toured the property , so lush and beautiful. Had supper at Mary Tara the first day, again excellent food . Hubby had ribeye cooked perfectly , I had pork rib and red pe [... read more]pper soup(so good). Then it was off to the plaza for Mexican night. Good drinks and live Mexican band. Morning coffee at cafe sisal a must. Supper at Ginger the teppenyaki tables, good show and food. Weather has been perfect so far on day three. Our first visit in 2023 the French restaurant was closed for reservations, this visit we dined there and it was amazing. Beet salad, French onion soup ( lived up to all the hype), beef filet excellent. Taman Sari was disappointing. Chicken Satay was good but the Tom Yang soup was not spicy or hot. It was luke warm. The pad Thai was ok but not hot just warm. My husband’s pad Thai had barely any rice noodles and his pork rib was all bone no meat. This was a far cry from our previous 2023 visit. The Mexican restaurant was excellent, highly recommend. Italian restaurant was good enjoyed our meal. We did do the French restaurant twice it was that good. The Magic show was worth the watch. Very entertaining as was the Rock Circus show. Fire show on Sunday was entertaining. Service throughout the resort was outstanding, as was the maid service and nightly turn down service. Drinks hit and miss and cocktails not a lot of alcohol seemed to be in them. Margaritas were good , very tart but again not a lot of tequila went into them. Prosecco was very good and we both liked the Sauvignon blanc house wine. Bloody Cesar’s were excellent. Resort could benefit its patrons by providing more shade. Portable umbrellas would help. Chair game is fierce at main pool. Only downside of this resort. Beach chairs under shade no problem. Chairs and shade by silver pool can grab one before 8 am. Chairs and shade by golden pool/river good no need to rush . Sunday morning security came around one half of main pool before 7am and removed all towels and belongings They did this three times. If you weren’t with your stuff before 7am they took it . First time I have seen this happen. All in all we have a wonderful vacation once again at the Valentin. You won’t be disappointed if you book here

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. Food was delicious. Staff were always pleasant, friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to this resort. Evening entertainment was always very good. Loved that we did not have to make reservations for dinner.

The Valentin Imperial Resort

With our 4th return trip, but with our grown chikdren and plus ones. The resort did not let us down at all. The Entertainment waas the reason for rebooking as the knock it out the park with connecting to their guests. The food, the room ad servoce were 5/5 rating. It is very hard to compare any resort in the area that competes in all areas.

Peace and tranquility

I cannot say enough good things about this resort. The grounds are beautiful and extremely well maintained, the resort has a very authentic Mexican vibe. Staff are very friendly and helpful, food is delicious no reservations required at any restaurants. The resort is extremely clean and there are lots of walking paths but also lots of golf carts to get you around this large resort. I would definitely rebook this resort again.

Exceeded Our Expectations!

This resort has to be the best we have ever experienced. Being elderly we were concerned about the distances to walk but with the shuttle services were so quick and accommodating; as was the service for drinks and food. The people were so kind. We cannot say enough about the entire experience. I have to say an experience because the dining areas and entertainment were exceptional. Valentin is a very elegant resort and we will certainly return.

Third visit and as always a wonderful time.

The grounds of the Valentin Imperial are spectacular. It is a large resort but nothing is overpowered by the buildings. It feels very natural with beautiful flora and a surprisingly varied fauna including lots of species of birds. The staff is amazing - everyone very friendly and always looking to be helpful. Lots of nice restaurants with different and very good cuisines and menus. The beach is ok, but the great pools balance it out. Rooms spacious and well appointed. Only one consideration: the hotel has no policy regarding lounge appropriation at the pool. Consequently, some couples put their belonging on 4 chairs, 2 in the shade and 2 in the sun all day thus creating a lack of chairs if you don't go out by 7:30 in the morning and do likewise. This situation should be monitored and a policy devised to allow all to be accommodated.
