Beautiful Dreams Royal Beach

We had a wonderful stay at Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana. Beautiful location, with a stunning beach, clear water (aside from some sargassum which it is the season for), and plenty of places to relax and enjoy our time away from home. Our room though a little old, was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better, shout-out to our beach bartender Ambiorix who was always coming making sure we had a cold drink in [... read more] our hands. We also enjoyed the food (portofino, mercure, and seaside grill were very good) and the variety of activities (games, dancing and singing) and amenities available. Shout out to the entertainment team Yumi, Rissa, London, Tupac, Pikachu, Rosa, Geoffrey, and Baby face for running energetic dancing lessons and entertainment at the shows every night. We loved the circus and rock show. The atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for a getaway. There was some construction during our stay but it was handled very well and didnt interrupt guests. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would definitely consider coming back!

Love this resort

This was our 3rd time at this resort and once again it was fabulous. We were a group of 7 women and we booked through Robyn Murray who made the whole booking process seamless. Could not recommend Robyn enough.

Go somewhere else

Hotel was very nice. We've always loved D.R. and when we first booked we wanted to stay longer than the original group pkg. but our travel agent was hard to reach, I watched a waiter steal two pair of sunglasses off of the table and when he was confronted gave them back, but no repercussions for him as far as I know. He may have taken other peoples things, Service seemed to be a chore even though our group are big tippers. Won't return. Didn't feel safe or welcomed. Too many time share peop [... read more]le bugging as well. Will probably seek out other vacation places other than D.R.

Amazing resort!

We stayed at Secrets, Royal Beach- beautiful resort with excellent food. We most appreciated the super friendly and helpful staff. A great big "Thank you" to Dyanara whose attention made our stay that much nicer! We absolutely loved her "Let me help you" approach.... and always with a smile. We also want to thank Sammy and Junior. Also a thank you to the staff in the main buffet restaurant who were always helpful and smiling.

Secrets Punta Cana

Very impressed The staff were so friendly and helpful particularly Dayanara our Butler She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed The food was excellent with so much choice and beautifully presented Great beach with plenty of chairs and amazing service from keen servers

Amazing Resort

We stayed at the Secrets Royal Beach and had an amazing vacation. Staff, restaurants, beach, pool and all amenities were fantastic. We certainly will be returning! Thank you to Shannon Ashford for helping us book this trip.

Beautiful resort amazing

Returned from a sister vacation and had an excellent time. From the time you walk into the lobby you will be amazed with all the beautiful foliage, took our breath away. All the staff are outstanding and will go out of their way to ensure you are having an excellent time. The pool was amazing, the food out of the world, no issues what so ever. Love this resort and will be returning in March for our third time. The only issue are the patio doors do not have handles to open from the outsi [... read more]de, which is a struggle for people that do not have strength to push on the glass to open.

Outstanding Resort

Just returned from an excellent sister vacation. The resort foliage is outstanding so beautiful and very well kept. The staff are amazing from all bars, restaurants and entertainment. All are very friendly, always smiling and will go out of their way to ensure you are having the best time. Rooms were always cleaned daily with no issues. Food was outstanding, not one complaint. Everyone made our vacation so awesome and we will be returning next year. Only complaint is the patio doors d [... read more]o not have handles outside to open the door and are very heavy to slide across to get back in the room.

WHAT A GREAT SEESTER TRIP

What a great place this is. So pretty and very well laid out, We loved it. The pools, gardens, auditorium for relaxing, the entertainment. All was great. Many people made our trip wonderful. To name a few Juan in the Preferred Pool Bar. So attentive and made excellent special mixed drinks| In the Sea Side Grill where we dined for breakfast, lunch and dinner at least 6 times. The service was always fast, efficient and the food excellent. We so enjoyed that lovely auditorium with the cool breezy hallways and plants and views. There was a new girl that started and was doing an excellent job. Yudeter in the evening to serve our drinks.As well as Baby Face and Johnathon provided a great time! WE know we missed a few names but ALL SERVICES we outstanding, Thankyou all. Returning again in March 26 with our family.

Another good stay at a Dreams resort

My family and I just returned from our stay at Dreams Royal Beach punta Cana. I would definitely recommend this hotel, however I would insist on staying in the premier section of the resort. It is kept immaculately clean and the staff could not do enough to make you happy. Anything you ask for they accommodate and the concierge service makes every dream come true. The older part of the resort however is a bit run down. The pools are in need of renovating, example... Tiles missing and [... read more] chunks of coping broken off but all in all kept very usable. The food is not as good at Dreams Royal as it is at Dreams Flora. So if you are a foodie, you may want to look into Flora instead. Our concierge Michael, was absolutely amazing. He did everything he could to make your stay remarkable. I definitely recommend asking for his services when at this hotel.

Great week!

The wait staff were very attentive. Grounds were maintained daily. The food was better than expected. The hotel in general,was very well organized with the events that they had.I can’t say anything bad about our stay.

Nice resort

This resort was nice. The rooms in the main building smelled very musty. The food was good but many of the a la carte restaurants were closed for dinner throughout the week. The Japanese restaurant charged $45 pp for the tepanayaki which seemed unreasonable for an all inclusive resort. The beach was very nice. There were alot of kids at this resort and most of the pools, activities and shows were geared for kids. There was always staff around to assist but none spoke any English so if you needed [... read more] anything you really couldn't communicate. They charged $15 to play one game of pool at the activity centre. The sports bar had 12 tv's but only got 3 channels amd mostly all soccer. We had fun because we were a big group there for a wedding but there were many things that were a little disappointing

Amazing Resort after check-in

We had a very unfortunate interaction with staff during checkin that got the vacation off to a bad start. After that, all I can say is that the Dreams Royal Beach Resort in Punta Cana is A-1! The rooms were beautiful and clean. The beach was lovely with tons of seating. The restaurants were some of the best we’ve ever been to and we cannot say enough about the incredible staff. So pleasant and always making sure we were looked after! Thank you Dreams (except during checkin)!

Amazing resort!

Everything about the Dreams Royal Beach was outstanding and exactly as advertised. The beach was stunning and very large with tons of loungers - no stress about having to get down to the beach super early! The property was beautiful and so so clean and well maintained. There were zero issues everywhere we went. I have never experienced that before in all the years we’ve gone to DR, Mexico and Cuba. Royal Beaches

My girl friend I had a wonderful time at Royal Beaches in Punta Cana This was our second time at this resort and found that there was great improvement this time. Food was more tasty and staff from cleaning crew to maintenance was so great. Everyone was so polite and curtious and speaking to us when greeted. We had a hot water problem and that was quickly resolved. Very satisfied and planning to return.

Dreamy Spot

4.5/5 as we really enjoyed our vacation there. The grounds are beautiful. The employees cannot do enough for you. Multiple choices for eating and drinking. Beach is one of the best. Even though it was sold out, it never felt crowded. Rooms were a decent size and the beds were comfortable. Food while not quite 5 star, was good with lots of choices. We were in the preferred group so we didn't try the main buffet as it seemed to be a bit chaotic and we had other places to go to. The only downs we h [... read more]ad were a bit of a unorganized check in, the odd wrong order in the restaurants, and smokers seem to smoke where ever they want.

One of the Best Resorts in Punta Cana

Service was very good. Very scenic and well kept resort. Unlimited access to Secrets next door was an excellent perk. Food was average, but certainly enjoyable. Beach was great. Lots of shady areas available. Pool areas were very good.

Great resort

The resort was wonderful, we were in the new section of the resort and the best we've ever had. The resort was extremely large, with trolley running between sections frequently and friendly fun drivers. Entertainment was very good, better than the regular resorts. Billy, our concierge was very attentive and supportive, not intrusive. No reservations required at the restaurants, which was great, we did not wait, but resort was not full. Menus at the restaurants could be expanded on, did not  [... read more]seem expansive, but did find something each time. I would definitely recommend this vacation.

Amazing Resort

Resort is beautiful. Beach was one of the best we have been to in the DR. Service was great. Food was good. Plenty to eat with lots of variety. Would definitely recommend this resort and would return
