From start to finish this resort is simply top notch! Staff are incredible, grounds are amazing , rooms are heavenly and the food is excellent! Would go back in a heartbeat! Majestic resorts have it all! Perfect vacation spot!

Paradise in Bavaro Beach

Fantastic grounds amazing gardens beautiful pools wonderful beach great food and very good staff and friendly entertainment amazing shows every night the rooms are great and well kept clean the Buffets they have great variety of food and drinks are great. Great Vacation in DR.

Beautiful Resort

First of all let me say that I was there with my daughter and toddler granddaughter so my comments are based on our family configuration! The Majestic Elegance Hotel in Punta Cana is beautifully landscaped, the rooms are very large with an open concept, ie the jacuzzi tub and the double sinks are in the open room area and the shower and toilet are individual private rooms with unlockable glass swinging doors. We were there with a 20 month old toddler and found the room not to be child friendly [... read more]. For example there is a step down to the jacuzzi tub and patio door area with an approximate 3’ marble ledge which she initially bumped her head on a number of times. The toilet snd shower doors are very heavy glass and they swing inward and outward. Our toddler initially managed to pinch her fingers in the doors several times. In the first room we were in the hand towel bar was approximately 10” long positioned on the front of the sink facade at eye level of the toddler. Again she initially bumped her head numerous times and actually could have walked into it at eye level. Suggestion would be to mount towel racks at a higher level. The floors are very slippery when wet causing danger to anyone. After showering we had to place towels on the floor outside the shower door. Aesthetically the room is beautiful however not toddler child friendly! The air conditioner was not working in first room we were in (for three nights) we asked to have it fixed on two occasions and after having three uncomfortable nights we asked to move rooms which they kindly moved us and the air conditioner was working well! I would also like to mention that the resort, as beautiful as it is, is again not child friendly in regard to pushing a child in a stroller. There are little to no ramps, mostly steps and the one bridge over the pool is in very rough condition and is three stairs up and three steps down three or four times across the bridge. Therefore impossible to use with a stroller, thereby having to go a longer way around every time going to/from the pool area. The staff: in all the years of travel, and I have travelled and lived all over the world, I have never met such wonderful, friendly and accommodating staff! They are the best staff ever! Big thumbs up ? Food: food is a personal taste thing. I don’t believe it would be fair to comment as everyone has personal tastes. Our preference was the Steak restaurant and the Italian restaurant. The Sea to See was great for lunch! Again we were with a toddler which did limit our going to the restaurants as we had to eat an early dinner. Pools: the pool we used daily was in good condition but there is only one entry with steps, which for seniors or someone with a handicap they would require. There were always lounge chairs and umbrellas available. The pool where the swim up bar and activities took place is in very poor condition. There are sooooo many missing pool tiles causing the pool floor to be very sharp in places which could cause someone to cut their feet! Would I return: I would return but not with a toddler. I would also only stay on the Club side as there are many more benefits to the Club side!

Great Resort

Resort is beautiful very well kept beautiful beach that’s swept for sea weed daily very little to none. Service was excellent provided by friendly smiling staff. Highly recommend, only issue we had was the venders on the beach

The best resort I ever stayed in in my life

I have to name my butler Arling and recreation and entertainment person Victor. These two individuals made my stay and my family stay beyond incredible they are amazing employees and deserve special recognition. Had a medical emergency and were treated spectacularly by Dr Rodrigues and nurse

Amazing Resort

I have been to many resorts over the years but this one felt like Paradise. The grounds are very beautiful and easy to get from place to place. It is kept very clean excellent job keeping the entire facility immaculate. There is a lot of variety of food and amazing restaurants choices. You will never go hungry. This gets too repetitive every day as I am trying to leave technology behind and enjoy my vacation fully. This should only be requested at checkout where there is form or IPAD with the staff members names to make our review comments. The resorts should focus on a memorable stay and not feedback on their staff. With all this said I would definitely go back to this resort again.

Great vacation at Magestic Elegance Punta Cana

We have an amazing experience at the Magestic Elegance Resort Punta Cana. Majestic Elegance Punta Cana

Majestic Elegance resort is beautiful. Beach is beautiful and there was no or very little seaweed. However, we had a horrible experience when we first arrived to the hotel. We arrived on February 23rd at 21:30 and after initial check in process we were told our room is on the second floor. We booked a ‘swim up’ room. We booked more than 6 months in advance to make sure we get a swim up room. We paid in full. It took us over an hour to persuade two ppl at the reception that we booked a swim up ro [... read more]om. Finally, they saw it in a computer that yes, in fact, we booked a swim up room. They were not professional at all and there was no apology. We spoke to customer service representative the next day and he was apologetic about the behaviour of front desk employees.

NOT A SANDALS RESORT.....BUT A VERY CLOSE SECOND!

We have been to several southern resorts over the years (Panama, Jamaica, Puerto Plata, Bermuda, etc). The Majestic Elegance is by far the absolute best resort we have ever been to (excluding Sandals - in Bermuda). Here's the thing........IT WAS HALF THE PRICE!!!!!!! Dollar for dollar, this is the absolute best bang for the buck anywhere south of Texas/Florida. Full stop. The food was not bad, it just wasn't great. It was okay. Otherwise, we had zero complaints. A Perfect Getaway!

A 5 Star hotel, that is probably a 4.5 in reality (showing some age/signs of wear and tear), but still beautiful amenities. The food was excellent, lots of variety and great flavours, nothing bland. The staff and servers were amazing, going out of their way to ensure coffee/drinks are always full. The beach is gorgeous with plenty of chairs in both the sun and the shaded areas. Some small 1"x1" tiles on the sides and floor of the pool are coming loose/falling off. Lots of entertainment to take part in in all areas, both during the day and at night. It seemed like there were bars all over the place - never had to wait long for a drink. Rooms are clean and cool, but no private change area (our family members needed to change in the walk-in shower since the rooms are wide open with no privacy). All in all, I would definitely recommend, and I would go back again.

Wonderful Resort

What a beautiful resort!! The grounds were gorgeous as well as the beach. The pools were clean. Upon our arrival we asked to be upgraded and Enmanuel at check in was able to complete the upgrade. Our butler Rafael greeted us in the lounge, explained areas of the resort. Fabulous resort

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the Majestic Elegance Resort. It is a beautiful, clean resort with amazing staff and terrific food. We upgraded to the Elegance Club and felt it was well worth it. We loved the Elegance Club adult only quiet pool and the exclusive ala carte breakfast and lunch restaurant as well as the Elegance Club lounges and coffee shop. I can’t say enough about the staff. He will need your Air Canada booking number ( usually starts with 235…) in order to give you the airport shuttle pick up time the day before departure. Having travelled at least twice a year since 2020, this was new to many of us. We had previously just looked at the binder in the lobby for this information. Don’t hesitate to book this resort. It’s fabulous and only a half hour away from the airport.

Very Nice Resort

This is a very typical 4 star resort in Punta Cana. Grounds are well kept and rooms are comfortable. Staff is excellent at their job making sure you are happy. Restaurants are average compared to other resorts. All in a very nice resort with an excellent staff.

Amazing Resort

We had no complaints about this resort. The grounds and beach were beautiful, staff was amazing, drinks were delicious and the food was as good as you could expect for AI. There was a good amount of nightlife/entertainment too. I would highly recommend any of the Majestic resorts.

Best resort

Just returned from the majestic elegance just left there in June was there for 10 days returned again in August for two weeks just arrived and I have my ticket to return again in October. This is how much I love this resort I wanna tank my Butler Rafael and Henry. Amazing Resort

This hotel is second best to None! The moment you step foot on the lobby you are greeted with a warm Welcome Home and I felt that vibe of you’re a family member they had been waiting! Our first dinner at the buffet my daughter already bond with Keila and every single worker is warm and accommodating and wanted to do anything that would make your stay relaxing pleasant and memorable. Great Resort

I loved Majestic Elegance Punta Cana. Very relaxing environment. The staff is great, kind, helpful. The room is clean, food is great,entertainment is great. I had great time during my stay. He may looking for tip but I gave the tip a day before to his colleague and I didn't have my wallet with me and I am over 50 years old and the staff was young. He didn't have his badge and I walked 20 meters and decided to go back and ask his name. I asked his name, he was with his collegue at that time, he took his id from his pocked and showed it, his name is ALEXANDER FRASER. There are many employees working hard and this person need to get some more costumer service training. He may be tired at that moment but We worked all year and saved money for this vacation and need to relax and have good time also. Overall everything was great.

Nice looking resort

The rooms were large well kept property. We had problems with the air conditioning system & toilet being blocked & overflowing. The staff are friendly. The food was okay, there was lots of selections but reservations hard to get for our stay. Teppanyaki was a waste not enough food & no show we were done in 30 minutes & hungry. Beach was well kept we liked the service at the beach & even with seaweed season enjoyed the water. Entertainment was excellent day & night.

Elegance was exactly what we needed.

No issues with anything here at the Majestic Elegance. Staff was always friendly each ensured they could do their best to make our stay the most comfortable. There was enough to do if we chose, but with a day in the Sun we mostly didn’t make it late into the night. Didn’t use the beach due to the sargassum at the time but the resort staff stayed on top of removing it, we enjoyed our spot by the pool a little too much to bother going to the beach.

For once all the reviews were right! As a retired couple who have been blessed to be able to travel and enjoy resorts and destinations around the world our entire married life (52 years) we make a point of reading the reviews knowing that often the truth for us lies somewhere between those that rave about a resort and those that detest the resort. We felt optimistic that the resort would be on the higher end of our expectations. We were truly and utterly amazed at the experience!! Of the many perks that this Club Section affords you is a private and personalized check-in and check-out procedure which is conducted in a VIP area located in the upper lobby. Once checked in our butler, Gabriel provided us with an informative tour, to ensure that we would be familiar with the facilities upon arrival. Once checked in we were taken to our suite and had a personal meeting with Gabriel, who was sincere in his desire to make sure that we would reach out to him for any concerns or requests. After that it was time to savour a week in the sun! If you are reading this review chances are you have or will read others so I won't weigh you down with more superlatives than you really want to read about. I will however tell you what my wife and I found to be the key positives of this resort -The butler service. Everyone raves about their butler and we will be no different Gabriel was efficient, effective, polite and respectful. He represented the best of the Majestic Elegance resort and was a fantastic ambassador for the brand, as I am sure all the others were. -The resort was immaculate! Manicured and pristine. Employees were always cleaning, trimming, sweeping, painting and on and on. Seldom have we been to a resort that has been this established and so well maintained. - Abundance of staff...no shortage there! and polite, happy and willing to please. -Being in the Club Section for someone with a slight to moderate mobility issue is a god send. Elevators are quick, Lounge amenities are first class,dedicated pool and cabanas are plentiful and well kept. Restaurant for all three meals is very close to our building. -Staff in the pool and restaurant area are quick to learn your needs and remember your preferences every day. Every review will mention employees like Jesus around the pool or Osvaldo in the Sea and See restaurant. No staff member will disappoint you. Finally our two biggest takeaways ( and remember we are seniors and the first one would not apply to everyone) - From our room to the lobby or any of the main restaurants is a fair distance. It is a stroll past lovely gardens and lovely fountains but a distance nonetheless. They do offer a complimentary resort club ride from the Club Lounge to the Lobby area so it is not a deal breaker, just something to remember. The elevator is a bonus. close to our room and always available. A little aside for the room....beautiful, clean, well kept, housekeeping first class but for anyone not sure footed remember the floors are tile and can be slippery when wet and there are no grab bars or handles in the showers so remember to throw down the floor mat to be safe! Last but most important is how many people who are diehard repeat customers. Couples ( and I mean many) who have been here eight or more times and are already planning their next trip to the resort. Who does that!!!! Never have I ever seen such brand loyalty to one resort in my life. It shows you that they have found the secret to make their customers happy. Kudos to the Management and Staff og Majestic Elegance Punta Cana You may have just made us repeat converts!!!!!
