Great Vacation!

Our second time visting this resort and we enjoyed every minute. Was a quick shuttle bus ride from the airport to the resort. Check in was smooth but didn't love the time share people swarming us as soon as check in was complete. Resort grounds are beautiful and everything is close by so no long walks to the room, pool or to food. Beach had lots of seaweed but that's just part of mother nature; the staff we working at cleaning it up most of the day with raking and a tractor. Food was great - do  [... read more]not need to make reservations, just walk up each night to the restaurant you want to try. Buffet had lots of choices for all meals. Gluten free options were label on the restaurant menus and staff made other suggestions/accomadations as requested. Wish they had more loungers around the pool and beach; if you weren't an early riser, you were stuggling to get a group of chairs together

Great resort, wonderful experience.

The hotel was great and met and/or exceeded our expectations. The staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The food was excellent. Lots of variety and very good quality. Loved the evening entertainment options. The rooms were very spacious and always clean. The beach was not as expansive as we would have liked but the water was wonderful. Highly recommend

This was my 2nd visit to this resort. Food and staff were excellent . I will definitely visit again. The buffet was always well stocked and offered a variety of food for everyone taste. If you get a chance visit caper’s Italian restaurant and order the delicious lasagna

Beautiful Stay

We had a great 10 days at this resort - very clean - hardworking staff - very large and spacicous room - beautiful views everywhere ! If you love a beach, this is not the place for you - very rocky - one small section near the perferred pool to go in on sand - we did see some kayaks later in the week going out by the family pool, but I think it's based on the tide. Beautiful Resort

Beautiful resort with wonderful staff other than the reservation desk staff which need to work on their skills with dealing with the public and solving issues. Our week started off on the wrong foot with check in however we enjoyed our wonderful bartender, Panda. The food at the restaurants was amazing and the housekeeping/ grounds keepers were always busy keeping the resort immaculate. I would definitely return to this resort.

Very nice

Small and easy to get around. Excellent service and food. Love no wrist bands and no huge complex with resorts all over. Pool chair saving excessive, people were out at 5 am and never came back for hours. Ocean was rough and rocky so if you're a beach person not for you. Upscale on Xmas eve was such poor taste by resort when people have already paid so much.

Great place to relax and enjoy Mexican Hospitality

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa was a beautiful place with ocean views from the lobby and some restaurants. This resort was spotless. Never been to such a clean resort. The service and staff were amazing. Friendly, engaging and polite. We stayed in the preferred club which gave us an upgraded king suite, 24 hours a day room service, private heated pool, premium drinks in the preferred club lounge. all with exceptional service. The preferred club pool was too warm for me some days. Beach was good except for the sea weeds that would wash up. I would give this place 4.5 stars. The service and staff get a 5 star rating.

Amazing Resort

We were looking for a nice adults only resort but this looked beautiful and came highly recommended. We booked a preferred club, oceanfront King room and it was amazingly beautiful. The preferred pool is adults only so that checked that box. Because of the time of year, the seaweed on the beach was horrible but the resort staff worked diligently to keep it clean. The food was delicious for the most part - better than [... read more] other resorts I have been to: even other Dreams (DR). The ice cream at Coco Cafe was very yummy. If you are a tequila drinker there is plenty of choices. This is the first time I have been to an all-inclusive in some time where I didn't want to leave on day 3 of our 7 day trip!!! We usually cruise, but we were able to watch the cruise ships come into Cozumel in the morning and leave in the evening so that was nice. Tripcentral, and Candice specifically, made this an easy trip to take as we were well informed of EVERYTHING needed before we left!

Dreams jade resort and spa visit

My wife and I and 2 other couples our friends that join us with this visit to this beautiful resort we enjoyed most of the resort has to offer customer service was top clean and the workers are very nice people but most of our visit there the restaurants are part of them are closed and part are open so the only thing that was the breakfast buffet was open every day but the rest every day a different restaurant is closed and also we wasn’t satisfied with the resort shows and entertainment pool ba [... read more]r closed at 5 pm. Amazing Resort

This is my second time to this resort, The rooms are great, the shops are nice they should drop the prices in the shops extremely expensive, the restaurants are nice I prefer the buffet which is great when it's open. the pools are nice, my favorite is the 24hr café they make the best cappuccino's, iced coffee, smoothies. I didn't have anything to complain about last year and nothing to complain about this year.

Nice stay, but needs some enhancements

Nice and clean rooms, amazing staff and very close access to the beach. Though the sand was full of rocks and seaweed. The coffee is terrible and I wish there were better food options for vegetarians. The Mexican food and juices were great though. The excursions and taxis through the hotel have a huge markup, so it’s better to book with a third party or go into Puerto Morales and book locally.

Great trip

Great service throughout! Great food it plenty of variety. Good entertainment and fun games at the main pool daily. Would recommend to anyone who likes laid back, relax time in the sun. More for couples less for families.

Decent but will not return

We stayed 7 days Feb 27-March 6th. As soon as we all got to the resort we went to the bar to try and find a table then when we finally did.. we had to clean and wipe down the table then waited for service and waited. Which did not come. We squeezed up at the bar and got some cocktails. Sadly the hard alcohol at the resort is aweful. Beer and basic teqiilla were fine and the wine . The pool cafe was delicious and everything made to order. The fries were yummy and the quesadilla were the best. Pool chairs were hard to come by and got taken up by 9am. Towels that were placed to hold were removed by staff after about 35 min which is good thing otherwise no one would have a good place to lay. The pools are average and we lost the best pool for a day as someone pooped in the pool. The beach was small and tons of the seaweed floating in and out of the water. Lots of rocks so bring water shoes. Not enough beach chairs for sure. Our first room overlooked a mug pile and stunk of sewage so the changed our room with a better view but the balcony had a high cement wall so we could not enjoy it. Rooms were average. Nice shower. The AC was poor and motion operated so when you left and came back after hours in the beating sun the room temp was 24-25 and took way to long to go down to 21.5 which was the lowest it would go. Buffet breaky was good but long lineups to get in. Good service in most of the restaurants. We loved Willain in the Italian restaurant. He went over and above and excellent at his job. My sister only had hot hot water for one day then the last day they had no water at all. They were also doing maintenance work below our room at 315am! Loud banging as they were removing floor tile. Basic service was fine. Food was fine. Alcohol was Meh. Had floral taste in the gin and vodka so make sure you go ask for a specific brand. Great latte snack bar open 24 hrs. Get the latter with Baileys. yummy. iced or hot. All in all we all agree we would not return to this resort. However if you have nothing to compare it to you will be fine. Our group of 6 have been to mexico many times and had experienced better resorts.

Amazing Resort

Our whole family of 13 adults thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. We loved not having to line up to reserve restaurants! The preferred lounge was wonderful. Restaurants were all good with favourites the French and Italian. Everything was spotless and of course our waiters were all phenomenal! We also had a very spacious living room with double wooden doors into our bedroom in our room. We would all return to this resort in the future.

Great resort, horrible food

If we were coming to this resort just to enjoy the pool, rooms, staff I would definitely come back, but unfortunately the food was mediocre and the same thing everyday. We had some trouble with check in and constantly being told to check back in an hour, after 5 hours of waiting after being told our room would be ready in 1 hour, we finally got our King suite tropical view. Resort itself is well laid out all the restaurants/shops are in the main area. We never ventured over to the preferred side as we never needed too. Pools never felt over crowded even with the main one, being closed for a day to clean up some baby poop. By far the best was the infinity that overlooked the beach area. There was never a free chair by the pool even in the sun. We often found a drop spot to put our stuff and just spent the day in the pool. We were celebrating our first vacation without our young kids, so we were enjoying not having to be up at 6am everyday which seems like you need to, to snag a pool char. Can rent cabanas we were quoted $100 usd a day others were quoted different prices. Beach is small but that's fine by us as I hate walking foe miles through the sand to get to the water. Because the water was so close when you were in the infinity pool it felt like you were right there. Food. Honestly there was never not something to eat, but your going to wait in long lines to get in and at the buffet wait in long lines to get made to order meat/fish/eggs. Fruit was subpar not even pineapple which I love nothing more than pineapple on vacation, they had lots of apples which were bland. Food being restocked at the buffet took forever,. A la carte. The only one we thoroughly enjoyed was the Asian/Tepenakyi. Every other restaurant was meh, and dessert was bland and unappealing. Staff work tirelessly, most have a smile and genuinely make you feel welcomed, there are always those that seem like they hate life and show it in their customer service. Honestly for the price you pay now for vacations, especially booking last minute and still spending a big chunk of change I expected more for my money.

Best Vacation Ever!

The staff at this hotel was very welcoming. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with “Welcome Home” and a warm smile. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The menus at the various restaurants on site were impressive and delicious. The beach and pools were amazing. We would definitely revisit this location.

Excellent

We had an excellent time at dreams jade. Serving staff were very attentive and the quality of food at the restaurants was very high. We enjoyed Spice and the Italian restaurant, Miguel who works at Spice made the teppanyaki table a fun experience. The entertainment staff work very hard and really improved our vacation experience, I’d like to mention Saul and Angel for the great work they do to engage with guests at the resort.

Great family resort

This resort exceeded our expectations. While it is a 4-star resort, we have found it better value for money than some of the 5 stars we’ve experienced in Mexico. Recommended for families, couples will likely prefer adults only.

Beautiful resort

Beautiful resort and grounds, super clean, great and helpful staff, Restaurants were very good but not great. Fantastic room service. I would recommend to stay in Preferred club at this resort as you will have an Adults only pool with a lot less noise and a sit down restaurant with full service for breakfast. The shows were not bad and the Fire show was excellent.. This resort has a very limited beach so better for pool people. Great Resort

This hotel is situated perfectly right on the beach with all the restaurants and shops centrally located. Food is really good, service was excellent and entertainment was also very good. The room needs refreshing-a coat of paint would be helpful but very comfortable bed and nice big bathroom that was never short on hot water. Air conditioning also worked great.
