Exceptional Service

The resort and staff were simply amazing! Very clean and everyone was incredibly friendly. We enjoyed all the à la carte restaurants with a variety of food. The infinity pool and activities were certainly highlights during our stay. The only thing missing was a nice sand beach. If long walks on the beach are non negotiables then this resort is not for you. They aim to please and go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay.

Amazing resort!

One week stay here was not enough! Top notch resort. Easy and pleasant check-in, rooms are spacious and extremely clean. Even the bathrooms at the beach or in the resort are spa-like and very clean. Our room was cleaned daily, and always very well done. Food is absolutely delicious. We ate at five different restaurants and loved each one. Our butlers, Eric and Lisandra, were so helpful and pleasant. They took care of the restaurant reservations, and were always quick to respond to any questio [... read more]ns we had. The beach is the tiny negative for me. It’s very narrow and parts are rocky. The TRS beach is a bit of a walk, but the shuttles are a great way to get there. Once there, that section of beach is beautiful (but small) and great food and drinks. The staff is polite and helpful throughout the resort. I can’t recommend it enough. We will be returning for sure!

Definitely will be going again

The best possible service we could have received, we have never been treated better and having the butlers there was such an amazing add on! They helped out with setting everything up and walked through everything with us. My fiance and i are planning to have our honeymoon here now

Third time is the charm

I have been here twice before. I have also been to many other resorts and you won't find the service better anywhere else, it's 5 star all the time, from everyone there. If you are into a big beautiful beach, you will not care for this resort. They have been struggling with the sargassum and the beach is much smaller than it was in the early 2000s after a hurricane changed it. The food at the TRS is excellent. Amazing Resort

I absolutely loved Trs yucatan the staff were fantastic food was great and the resort itself was gorgeous My butlers were fantastic very helpful and informative I loved the daily activities at the pool area and the pop team were fun and exciting can’t wait to go back

Beautiful resort!

Our first time at this resort and it was amazing! Beautiful grounds and beautiful pools. From the moment you arrive to the time we checked out the level of service was extraordinary. Best of any resort that we have visited. Our room was beautiful and the butler’s were excellent. Food quality was great and catered to my husband’s gluten allergy. My only complaint was the beach area. Very small and far from the resort.

Amazing resort

Absolutely amazing holiday our room was breathtaking we saw so much wildlife monkeys ,lizards ,birds fish etc. Food and service 5 star Beach is small but clean .staff are friendly. We would definitely recommend TRS

Great resort , great food, great service !

It was a wonderful resort for our vacation. We enjoyed the food, service and meeting people from all around the world. We had the best bartender at la terraza pool. Alfredo! Would recommend for sure..

Great resort if you don't need a beach

The beach has largely washed away and the bathrooms were designed for style rather than function (shower and toilet doors leave gaps when closed, pedestal sink is ridiculously deep and does not hold water). The pools are sometimes loud with music and group exercise. That's the end of the negatives. The service is excellent everywhere. The lobby bar makes excellent drinks and coffee. The non-TRS pools were not busy at all.

Great resort

The area is beautiful - although at least a 60 minute drive from Cancun. The resort itself is also beautiful - the employees are tremendous, couldn't be more courteous and helpful. The resort is very large & offers many options - you really should take advantage of the transportation & survey all of the 4 resorts. Really enjoyed the choice of dining options - we had a member with food allergies & this was accomodated at all food venues. Also enjoyed the atmosphere and of course, the sun.

Amazing resort!

This is a beautiful resort with gorgeous grounds, suites, and amenities. The staff is great and very helpful and ready to please. We enjoyed our stay very much! We would definitely recommend it to our friends and family.

Had a wonderful time!

We stayed at TRS Yucatan Feb 6-13. This was our 3rd time staying there but the first time since Covid. It is a great experience if you want service excellence, great food and peace and quiet. We did notice a few changes in service level since pre Covid. You have to pay for the dinner theatre and the food was awful. The show was fantastic. There also was nothing happening at night. Perfect Honeymoon

What an amazing resort!! My wife and I stayed here for 10 days in June for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing. The staff is so friendly and professional and make you feel like royalty. The service in the restaurants is impeccable and the food was some of the best we have ever had, even the buffets were amazing with good variety and amazing quality. The mini fridge is restocked daily and if you need something the butler is a WhatsApp message away!! Quick room tip, if you want a private pool book villa 64 if possible, it seems to have the most privacy of all villas. The infinity pool is beautiful... it gets a little busy during the afternoon but there is still plenty of space. The beach is a little far from the TRS area but do yourself a favor, have breakfast at Helios, then go for a seaside walk on the beach, you'll need the exercise if you enjoy the food as much as we did. The TRS beach area is amazing!! Near the beach bar, not overcrowded and plenty of Bali beds. This area is not directly seaside, but with the background music, drinks, and palm trees you won't notice. One note on the beach, it does get a lot of seaweed and the it is quite rocky in some areas, but they do a great job of cleaning the seaweed daily. The resort is huge but there are carts to take you anywhere on the resort or go for a walk through the covered jungle trails. The only thing that is lacking at the resort is nightlife, with the exception of the Chic Cabaret. There are a few evening events, however the crowd is quite calm so don't expect a big party vibe. The Chic cabaret is definitely worth the $35 usd as the show is absolutely amazing. The food at the show is good, especially if you enjoy seafood. To sum it up, we would absolutely love to go back. If a quite, relaxing vacation is what you want look no further than TRS Yucatan.

Downhill

We went to this resort last year. We paid when we arrived on this visit to have our own pool. A larger than average pool. The pool jets never worked. After many complaints nothing was fixed. When we complained on the way out they said oh well! Also the river had a nasty smell. We rarely saw people cleaning but we only were around people for eating since we had our own pool. Great resort, just not what we were looking for at all!

This was a beautiful resort, just totally not what we wanted. We enjoy a pool with water aerobics, and beach right there in front of us. At the TRS Yucatan, it was a 4 kilometer ride to the beach. We tried to get moved as we have asked to do a few times in the past and had a lot of push back and waiting. Sunwing then wanted to charge us 1700. to move! The supervisor of TRS, Betty was informed we were not satisfied and did everything in her power to make us happy. I am grateful for her, she [... read more] did her best but this resort was way to big for our liking. I feel very disappointed in Trip Central and Sunwing. The first full three days were a nightmare trying to get moved. No service outside of poor Betty who really couldn't change the situation. I sent the following email in response. "In the past 20 years, we have had 2 situations where we were unhappy with our choice and were moved within 24 hours with a charge of approximately $100.00 for both, or each of us. We are totally disgusted with the slow and useless service offered on behalf of Sunwing and will never deal with Sunwing Vacations again. After spending over $4000.00, the service you offered was useless, giving us an option late on day 3 ( which did not land in my email until day 4 AM) and saying we would have to pay an additional $1700.00. Really poor customer service!! Tripcentral was not much better, however apparently out of the hands of our apologetic agent. Perhaps you can work on that too. We even had to choose options, if we do all of the prework, what are you (Sunwing) there for? If you cannot trust the hotels you work with, how is that our problem? This was never a problem before, in fact we were given options. On a positive note, TRS had a supervisor contact us and Betty was amazing. I wanted to make it clear to Betty, her resort was beautiful, just not what we enjoy. We made it clear we do not like large resorts, we were told TRS was a small part of a large resort, the beach was " right next to resort" , when in fact the TRS beach was over 3.5 kilometers away, an 8 minute trolley ride. Betty tried to upgrade us, made reservations for us twice, contacted us daily to make sure we were okay. Betty was the true picture of customer service. Finally, I want to suggest making these things clear, adult property with a beautiful beach 3 to 4 kilometers away (or 1 kilometer away if you want kids on your adult trip)."

Truly wonderful in every way!!

As a woman of a certain age travelling alone I am always a bit worried before I arrive at a resort. No worries here. I spent a totally fabulous 8 days at TRS Yucatan resort. I was concerned about the hour and a half drive from Cancun airport. It went off with out a hitch. Didn't have to wait too long curbside for our little van. Only one stop before mine. easy check in process. Delivery to my villa by trolley was fun. Even the three floor walk up was not so bad. Loved seeing my driver put my [... read more] suitcase on his back to climb the stairs!! My room was a dream. Gorgeous, comfortable and stylish! Loved the motion sensored bathroom lights. Also loved the central turn off switch next to the bed for all the room lighting. Having an assigned concierge is a real treat. He was ready to help with anything I needed. The restaurants were terrific. My favorite by far was Helios.......perfect for breakfast lunch or dinner...so days I had all my meals there. Sitting outside by the beach was such a treat. The infinity pool was lovely and where all the action was. The daily yoga and water work outs were a must. My favorite hang out spot was the salt water tide pool. It was unique quiet and relaxing. Such a special place. I went there for part of every day. There is no big beach but this was perfect. There were evening activities galore if that's what you like. The beauty of a multi resort complex is the variety of options available are infinite both for food and entertainment. Make sure you make it visit with the flamingos. There are just a trolley ride away from TRS.

ABOVE AND BEYOND YOUR WIDEST DREAMS!!!!

My Wife and I just returned from the TRS Yucatan Resort in Mexico and I cannot write enough about the level of above and beyond Customer Service this place had to offer. It was prestine, the food and drinks were custom made and absolutely delicious and we left this resort feeling the most relaxed we have ever been since we started taking vacations together over 20 years ago. Every staff member from the Personalized Butlers to the Food and Cleaning staff to the Welcoming Team always were willin [... read more]g to provide top notch service and did it always with a smile which unfortunately for some resorts does not happen but this resort knocked it out of the park!!!!! We had a private pool that was such a bonus as some days we would just call in room service which by the way was 24/7 and along with our fully stocked bar, these days were spent not even leaving the room. Absolutely FIRST CLASS!!!!

A resort that is worth it to be visit.

This was our second visit. What a great facility...did not disappoint us. The rooms were beautiful, very elegant and modern. Our butlers ( Lisbeth, Alejandra, and Christopher) in vila 60 were very helpful and nice. They prepared a surprise for our 35th anniversary. We were very impressed by their kindness. The private beach was really nice with great Cabanas and service. The bars' service and the drinks and cocktails were fabulous with high quality. The Chic show was amazing. Amazing resort, great for people with food allergies

The TRS is wonderful if you are looking for an adult only vacation. The staff are wonderful and attentive, which is a huge stress relieve to us since we both have major food allergies. The spa is fantastic, the pool is open late, and the plunge pool rooms are clean and modern.
