I wouldn’t use air Canada vacations again. The cairn hotel was a complete dump, you think when you book a driving vacation the hotel would have parking. It did not. The room sucked and shower wouldn’t drain, the breakfast was not edible. Only 2 of the hotels were ok, the rest were substandard. Good ones were the loch kinard, with fabulous food. The second was the muthu hotel , nice. All the rest were terrible. And the coordination of the tour left us over an hour from the airport with a fairl [... read more]ey early time we had to be at the airport. 6 am, when I asked to change the last hotel for an airport hotel I was told no the package is the package. Scotland is great, but I wouldn’t use air Canada vacations again.

Glasgow Your Way 3*: How do you say Ibis?

Our Ibis hotel was staffed by enthusiastic, helpful and friendly people. The food was good but not noteworthy. Our room was small and basically functional but missing storage for more than a short stay or security for documents or valuables. It was very clean and cleaned thoroughly daily. It was better than a 3 star but not a 4.

Glasgow Your Way 3*: Glasgow Your Way - Highly Recommend

I just came back from the Scotland. I had booked the Glasgow Your Way trip package. I was impressed with how much was included in the cost - free breakfast at the hotel, open return train tickets to Edinburgh, a day tour in the West Highlands, afternoon at the Willow Tearooms, hop on, hop off bus tickets plus valet parking in Toronto with our hotel and plane tickets. This was my first time to the UK and a great way for someone to “cut their teeth” on an overseas adventure. The hotel (Holiday [... read more] Inn Express Riverside in Glasgow) was typical for Holiday Inn. The staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived very early at the hotel due to an early flight and the staff let us check-in at no extra charge. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast each morning.
