Hotel Pietra Di Luna: An amazing resort!

This hotel is definitely a five star in my humble opinion, from the expertise staff at the front desk, to the top notch staff in the dining room, so professional, friendly, and welcoming! Top grades for amenities, cleanliness, and location, location, location! A very special thanks to Girardo for his keen attention to detail with regards to hospitality and his attentive staff: Antonino, Anna, Luigi, Roberto, and Vincenzo. Would love to return one day soon!

Hotel Pietra Di Luna: Excellent resort!

Centrally located, minutes to the ocean, bus and ferry. Shopping, restaurants all around. Large swimming pool and dedicated loungers at the ocean. The loungers and umbrellas are all in excellent condition.Wonderful staff, attentive and friendly. Special mention to Alishia in housekeeping. She was so friendly and always smiling. Food was amazing and the staff Gerardo, Luigi, Luigi, Antonio and everyone always ensuring we were happy with all meals and service. (I apologize if I spelled anyone [... read more]'s name incorrectly) We had water leaking in the bathroom and it was taken care of immediately. I highly recommend this place. The only thing I would mention to improve is the rooms could use some english channels on the T.V. The rooms and balcony were very charming.

Hotel Pietra Di Luna: Vacation July 2025

Very well located, very clean with great service hotel. Room was very clean, cleaned everyday. Sheets are very clean and get changed everyday. I wish pillow and mattress were more comfortable. Food, breakfast and dinner were also good. I Loved white tablecloths, cleanliness in the dining room, waiters in their perfect uniforms and service in the dining room was excellent. I rated room as 3* because of barely working Air Conditioner and fridge. Not comfortable bed.

Hotel Pietra Di Luna: Not what we expected

The ground of this hotel were perfect however be aware that have to pay for basic water and coffee with meals. No beverages at all are included. Also we were not told that the water in the fridge was not included and we paid $4€ per can which was extremely over priced. When we asked about the extra charges they basically told us we should have read the “fine print”. The maître de was very rude to people who didn’t speak the language and he also misrepresented the prices of bottle of wine.  [... read more] He told us it was $18€ only to be charged $21€ at checkout. The worst part was that we had a ring disappear from our room and again when we went to the manager of the hotel they said they would conduct an investigation immediately. That consisted of them asking the cleaning lady who said she didn’t see it and with that the investigation was over. We checked out 4 days early simply because we didn’t feel comfortable any more

Hotel Pietra Di Luna: Excellent waterfront location, professional + friendly staff

Every staff member from the front desk to the cleaning staff to the dining room crew take great pride in their jobs and in maintaining a super clean, well run property. Those responsible for hiring and training of staff have done an excellent job and we have nothing but praise for the staff themselves who were friendly, accommodating and delightful throughout our stay, without exception. Although some travellers may feel the 60's/70's decor is due for an overhaul, everything seems to be in remarkably great shape considering its age. Almost to the point that it feels like you're living in that timeframe. As seen from our photos, the floor tiles have a funky, kitschy feel as do some of the other room stylings which may not appeal to all travellers but we got a kick out of it. Our room had a cute balcony with partial sea view which we enjoyed virtually every day. Some guest rooms have been recently renovated - not sure of the timeline for the rest but as mentioned, although perhaps a bit dated, the older rooms are meticulously well maintained and were not a detraction for us. Food was great throughout our stay and dining staff were outstanding. Special mention to Girardo (Maitre D) whose at first gruff exterior melts away to reveal a sweetheart of a gentlemen, determined to orchestrate the dining experience like an experienced maestro. Truly entertaining to watch him in action. We enjoyed the swimming pool once during our stay although it was unheated and a little early in the season (early May) to really warm up in the sun. The pool would be a great selling point in the warmer months. And as warmer weather arrives, visitors will no doubt enjoy the beach right across the street from the hotel featuring private chairs and umbrellas for hotel guests. Sweet! Beach spot opens in June FYI. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel and Maiori in general as a home base during your visit to the Amalfi Coast.

Hotel Pietra Di Luna: Wonderful Stay at hotel Petra Di Luna

This hotel is set in a perfect area in the Almafi coast. We loved this little town with its shops, restaurants and beaches. The hotel is lovely, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. It is right across from the beach and has a nice pool area. The food is good, not fabulous but good. The portions are a very good size. Our room was very nice with a lovely view. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It’s a perfect location.

Hotel Pietra Di Luna: Fantastic service

The staff at this hotel are absolutely amazing. We were tired from our day on Capri and they had no problem with our request to have dinner in our room. The dinners (which were included in our package) were very good.

Hotel Darsena: Location, location, location!!!

This resort is small but well run. There is no need to dash to the beach at 6:00 in the morning so you can get "a spot", you always have a beach chair, sun shade, and a table at the restaurant because each spot is assigned by your room #. (great idea!) The pool is very clean and refreshing after a hot day. The front desk personnel are there to help you, call a taxi, help with setting up excursions, room changes, (so families can be near each other) etc…Some of the rooms are very small but ver [... read more]y clean. You may want to bring your own beach towels as none are provided, although you are allowed to use the towels from your bathroom. This resort is located on the beach, near shopping, the train station, banks etc. We felt safe and comfortable walking or taking a taxi to the many interesting and fun things to see and do in Agropoli. We enjoyed this resort and the staff very much and hope to visit again. This was or first visit to Italy and we were not disappointed. This hotel is a great place to start enjoying all that Italy and it’s people have to offer visitors, good food, good wine, a friendly welcome and a beautiful landscape. My only advice to english speaking guests would be to load some english content entertainment on your tablet as I didn't find any on the TV channels in the rooms. That being said, I loved the place!

Hotel Darsena: Beautiful Sunsets

The Resort is a smaller size than Caribbean resorts we have been to. That being said we loved the intimacy between the staff, the adjacent town, the other travellers. Our tour guide, front desk staff, wait staff and cleaning staff were the best we have ever experienced. Help was just one question away . It was so much fun trying to communicate between Italian, English and French.

Great hotel on level location. Convenient for bus or boat for touring coast. Private beach across road with lounge chairs and towels.Clean rooms with small fridge and safe. Dining room with sea views and good food and service.

Residence Hotel Panoramic: Maiori - Residence Panoramic

We just arrived back on Sunday/yesterday from the Amalfie Coast to bring back very good memories with my two daughters. I do recommend this family owned hotel if you like a basic small apartment like atmosphere. It's very quiet and well maintained in exception to a few items I didnt enjoy spending money on olive oil for cooking dish cloth and dish soap. We left behind 90% of the oil and dish soap in hopes that the owners share amongst their guests. It's a waste of money to buy these items f [... read more]or a weeks stay. I felt this would have won me over if they supplied this even for a couple extra dollars charge. I did get bitten by some bizarre bug that left bad itchy bites on my lower legs. We checked the beds and saw no signs of bed bugs but I'm not taking any chances and cleaning my cloths at the laundrymat. No history found on bed bugs at this place but you never know always a first. Regardless of the outcome Maiori has to be the best place on the Amalfie coast to stay to avoid chaois and have a quiet place to go home when visiting the other touristy places on the coast. The food is a real hit and miss. We had the worst food on capri Island of all places. On the other hand you have to go to the Chiosco bar on the sea front to get the best food in Maiori . Momma Mia of the owner makes everything perfecto from scratch. So fortunate to stumble on this just amazing. Note the siti bus tickets are purchased at the beginning of main town street to the right at a kiosk. We got a total run around where to buy these which was extremely annoying. You cant buy tickets on the bus!! The view from our room to the sea and coast was absolutely magical. How I miss my beautiful view.

Hotel Pietra Di Luna: Above expectations

We stayed at the Hotel Petra Di Luna for two weeks. It is a delightful hotel mixed between apartments in Maiori. It is clean, our room was spacious and we could see the water from our balcony. The location is wonderful for strolling around Maiori or using buses and/or ferries to go to all the wonderful towns around the Amalfi Coast. Have to say that Ravello was my favourite. They even pack you a breakfast if your flight is in the morning. It was funny guests getting on the transfer back with their bagged breakfast and seeing a Do Not Eat On The Bus sign. I would recommend the hotel. We were there in the early start of the season but they also have a private beach beside the swimming pool where you can have chairs and spend time at the beach. The hotel is small enough to make it feel like home but big enough to offer all that one would need.

Grand Hotel Excelsior Amalfi: dazzling Hotel

Grand Hotel Excelsior Amalfi has a magnificent situation overlooking the Amalfi coastline with spectacular ocean views. The room was spacious and comfortable and perfectly maintained. The breakfast was fresh and tasty with a large array of buffet items. In addition the hotel provides a regular free shuttle to the downtown area which guests really enjoy. Its a fabulous place to stay when visiting Amalfi.

Hotel Darsena: Really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at the hotel in early July for 8 nights. It was parts of the all inclusive package. We landed in Rome and had an included car rental. The 4 hour drive flew by as the scenery is breath taking. The hotel was perfect for us a great jumping point to take off and explore other areas as well. 2 hours from sorrento or 4 if you take the crazy coast including the amalfi coast drive to get there ..pretty worth it. The parking at the hotel was great. The food was excellent. You get a print out wi [... read more]th your lunch and dinner options for the following day with 2 options for each course. Lunch and dinner come with a bottle of wine. The beach has a reserved chair for each room so no need to rush. The staff was very friendly. The room was always very clean and the AC worked well. The closest full grocery store is about 20min walking but thebwalknis along the coast. We highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Darsena: Awesome time!

Hotel was amazing! Food was awesome! Service was fantastic! Had a blast. Would definitely recommend it to a friend. Beach had lots to do. Ocean was perfect. Great location for doing day trips. Felt very authentic.

Grand Hotel La Favorita: Room and service are not worth the price but the hotel decor is amazing and pool is great

The good: The hotel is located in a great place, the rooftop pool is amazing, the views from the roof are amazing, the room cleaning staff were amazing. The bad: We were on our honeymoon and were 'upgraded' to a room with a shared backyard (with 3 other rooms), but had absolutely no view of anything as we were below street level. The hotel is dated and the walls are thin The room I was given was right underneath the breakfast room and as a result I was awoken to extremely loud and o [... read more]bnoxious noises of workers moving tables upstairs, setting up for breakfast service. This noise lasted at least 30 minutes, every morning. One morning it was as early as 6:30AM as a tour group was checking out early and wanted breakfast early. After the setup ended, you could hear hotel guests walking around the breakfast room until 11AM. The rooftop bar is open to the public so random strangers can go up for drinks while you are swimming in the pool. The hotel forgot to tell us that we had to pay cash for our hotel transfer until we were checking in. A transfer from Naples cost 240 euros and this was required to be paid in cash but we wanted to pay with credit card. This caused a lot of issues as we had limited euros since we were traveling from North America and really threw our budget into flux. We were on our honeymoon and paid for this hotel expecting the best, but the product and service we received overall was less than mediocre.

Grand Hotel Excelsior Amalfi: Great hotel and llocation

The hotel was great. A little disappointed that the swimming pool was under repair and the beach access was closed. We were told that the resort had just been opened that week for the season. The hotel was very clean and staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The views from our room were spectacular. I would recommend this hotel to friends.

Grand Hotel Excelsior Amalfi: Beautiful view.

This was our first time visiting Hotel Excelsior. What can I say they went above and beyond. High on a mountain. Beautiful view. Great food. We travelled with our whole family. We had our 2 year old Grandaughter, and they treated her like family. Room service for her meals so she could go to bed earlier. The shuttle going down to the beach and also going into town is so accommodating. We would go back again absolutely.

Hotel Parco di Pricipi: Excellent Hotel

The hotel was very nice, the staff excellent. Location was perfect, very close to the beach and a 40 minute walk or a 10 minute drive from the train station. Staff very helpful with all aspects of the stay; for example arranging cab early in the morning and providing a nice breakfast before I left. Breakfast was good, the room was clean and the facilities well maintained. A wonderful experience.

Hotel Darsena: Awsome vacation

The food is typically Italian and presented in 3 courses (pasta dish, meat and desert), the sea is beautiful and the water is warm. Beautiful sunsets. Great for family with kids who want to relax. Most of the clients were Italians which is a good indicator for tourists that this is a good place to go. The service is excellent. The personnel is very respectful. I would recommend it to any one who wants to immerse in the Italian culture.
