Loved this quaint resort!

Stayed a week at GR Caribe. It was beautiful. The grounds were kept immaculate and all the employees were wonderful and so accomodating. There was plenty of food and as long as you are not a food critic, it was (to us) tasty and well presented. The adult side of the hotel was quiet (just the way we like it) you can always trot over to the family side for more poolside activities. The nightly shows and gym are also on the family side. The rooms were clean and adequate. Fresh towels daily, pop, water and beer stocked in mini fridge, cozy robes. Just wish all rooms had balconies. We had ocean front but no balcony. The window did open though which was nice. The adult side.had a café with coffee, sandwiches, pastries etc. Open from 7am to 3am. No excise to go hungry! All in all, we loved our stay. We wanted relaxing and that is exactly what we got. We would definitely return.buy would oay for the ocean front rooms with the plunge pools. They looked fabulous!

There is not 1 thing I would change about my 5 days at this resort. Perfection!¡!¡!!!!!@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@×@@@@@@@×××@××!@!@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@????????????????????????????

3 dressed up like a 7

After being closed for an extended period of time for renovations management has done a very poor job of improving the most important aspects of travel ambience and food . putting a goofy tarp overhead on half the pool killed previous enjoyable surroundings, food quality is marginal too much of same dishes at all meals , stick to fish and chicken . Chefs don’t know how to cook beef even expensive cuts in reservation restaurants. After coming here 7 times will NOT return again

Beautiful

I have returned to the GR several times to meet up with friends and enjoy a vacation. My husband and I found the GR on our first vacation several years back and have been coming back to meet up with friends and to enjoy. He has long past sense but I keep coming back for the memories. Beautiful beach!

Nice resort with modern rooms...great customer service...beach was the best part! Food was decent at ala cartes although I did get food poisoning. Dinner buffet looked unappealing so we didnt eat at it. Grounds were hard to navigate...lots of stairs and ramps...a bit dangerous if not paying attention to each step you took.

5 Stars Paradise

Everything about our stay was exceptional. The Hotel was beautiful, quiet and clean. The food choices were diverse, and tasted better than all other southern trips ive been on. The sit down restaurants rival upscale outfits here at home. All staff members were always friendly and happy. The rooms were modernized, comfortable and clean. Based on our stay, I can't think of a single negative or improvement to be made.
