Bequia Beach Hotel: Serenity plus

Bequia Beach Hotel is architecturally pleasing. The small buildings nestled into the hillside surrounded by immaculately kept greenery and the “ colonial” effects is very special. May it stay that way. Staff friendly . Setting and beach divine. Food good except I would have liked to see more variety in both restaurant menus. Menus remained the same except for catch of the day. Breakfasts were great and the servers fun.i really enjoyed the lunches and ambience of the Sandbar on the beach. Overall the setting by a turquoise warm sea was beyond words. Enjoyed the two weeks tremendously.

Blue Lagoon Hotel and Marina: An average hotel

The rooms were clean, the staff polite and helpful. This hotel offers continental breakfast which is a joke. There are 5 items on the breakfast menu: yogurt, oatmeat, fruit, cereal and pastry. You are allowed 2 items from the list no beverages are included. For 3 days I had 1 yogurt/1 banana each day for 2 days I had 1 pastry each day, the other 2days I had zilch because they had no fruit no yogurt no pastry.
