Beautiful and quiet resort

The resort, rooms, service, food, grounds, tropical lush, friendly staff, were all outstanding. If you would like to stay by the pool, drink and relax, this a resort for you. But if you are a beach person, unfortunately there is not direct access to the beach. However, staying in this resort provide access to all amenities and restaurants to two other nearby resorts, Dreams and Il Mare. There is less than 5 minutes' walk to any of these other resorts (just across the street). Golf card rides  [... read more]are also available, as many times as you need them during the day. The beach at the Dreams is very small, but the water is crystal clear and calm despite windy weather. The infinity pool and restaurant at Il Mare are amazing. The island was charming and very safe to walk around.

A beautiful garden of Eden

If you like choice this is the place. Chose shade or sunshine, sandy or smooth waterside walkways, indoor or outdoor dining, flying or walking animals, peace and quiet or boisterous friends talking at the bar this is the place. Oh the staff is friendly, polite and trying to please.

Beautiful Resort

The resort is quiet and relaxing. The pool area is well thought out and maintained. The pool bar service could be greatly improved. The rooms are nicely designed. The beds are very comfortable. The shower is fantastic! The food and the service overall could be improved. We enjoyed our vacation at the zoetry and hope to return after they iron out some of the issues

Quite Resort

Beautiful and not crowded Hotel . Beautiful rooms and even the grounds layout and all the trees around it is very beautiful. There food is good but they need to have better service because they are very slow. The outdoors Restaurant has good food too. They only need to have more experience in the service. If they have that there's nothing to complain The Bars are good too.

Awesome resort!

The hotel and staff are amazing; excellent food, beautiful grounds, but there a few things they have to work on. - they need more staff in the kitchen, bar and pool during busy times because it takes a long time to get your meal. - they need ceiling fans in the lobby and bar area. - travel to town for shopping should not cost $20 one way. You should have a free shuttle service. - alcohol, water, and toiletries have not been replenished enough. Not bad

We checked into room 37. We liked the looks of the room and were pretty happy. However the next am we woke full of bites. We had a mosquito net and used bug spray. We complained at the front desk and they ended up upgrading us to a suite. The suite was beautiful. We didn’t get any bites after the switch. The pool we knew was going to be renovated the week after so it was understandable that it was not in great shape. The grounds could have used some maintenance as others have pointed out.  [... read more] The small things like landscaping. The prices on food and drink were a little high. The beers anywhere from 6-8USD beer and they are not full sized beers. We sat for a breakfast day one and it was $12.50USD for continental breakfast that consisted of croissant small cup of fruit and dry toast. We didn’t do that again. This resort could have made a lot of money from us in lunches and breakfasts but the fact that that charged this much pushed us to just rent a car and get our own stuff. The beaches that are available for use are very nice and we did enjoy them. After we got settled in and did our own thing we met a lot of great people and some good staff members. If you go into this resort with the expectations of a place to stay with little Ammentiites you will be happy to get away and relax here. We would go back. Momma cita our bartender was pretty awesome and took care of us!!

Very enjoyable resort.

We enjoyed staying at Floris Suites Hotel. The room was comfortable, vell equipped and the staff was very friendly. There was lush vegetation all around the hotel and pool. The beach was a little disappointing. It was difficult to get in and out of water, too many rocks and to uneven. You really needed water shoes. The walk to the beach was only 5 min. It was easy to get to the city and back with the hotel shuttle bus or local transportation. Daily happy hour was definitely enjoyable. Good Resort

Great environment.... people were great.... very peaceful and relaxing. Food was pricey but went to the locals to buy and it was great.....the atmosphere was so nice that I would consider retiring here....

Lovely

Impressed with the size of my garden view studio . Hotel needs some maintenance and heavy duty cleaning. Soap was not cleaned off shower glass and spills on bathroom walls remained from prior guests. Bed frame also had past guest grime. White Furniture covers in lobby had stains and looked shabby . Pool need cleaning and maintenance. Beach club was wonderful.

Disappointing Hotel Experience Overshadowed Curacao

While this hotel is rated as a 4-Star resort it does not live up to a persons expectations of a 4-Star hotel experience. Firstly, upon arrival at 14:30 our room was not ready when we checked in. We waited in the lobby for roughly an hour being told consistently that the room would be ready in 5 minutes. Part of the reason we booked the Floris was because on the Air Canada vacations website it was indicated a breakfast buffet was included. We found out on arrival that breakfast was an added  [... read more]charge. This was not a good first impression. Secondly, the room originally assigned to us was on the lower floor overlooking the pool, all was fine with the room until we woke up the next morning. The floor and our luggage was covered in bugs that had crawled in from somewhere during the night. We tried sweeping the bugs outside but couldn't open our patio because that would have allowed the feral cat family living on our deck into our room. We asked to switch rooms which the hotel accommodated but took over 1.5 hours to confirm the room change causing us to change our scheduled plans for the day. Thirdly, the house keeping was spoty. We either got no towels some days or to many towls other days. One day during our stay we had left the hotel at 7:30 and returned at 16:00. During those 8.5 hours no one had cleaned our room. When house keeping did arrive at 16:45 they seemed annoyed with us that we still wanted our room cleaned and didn't refuse service. Fourthly, we partially chose the Floris Hotel based on the positive reviews we read about the friendliness of the staff. Overall we found staff (other than management) were annoyed to deal with our issues and we felt as though we were a burden to them. Finally, we had to go to the Hilton Resort across the street to book any excursions. In order to use the phones at the Floris to make local calls, the hotel was going to charge $30.00 USD to your final room bill. The Hilton staff were friendly and accommodating when we asked to make a quick call. They informed us it only cost $1.00 to make a local call but they agreed to waive the charge. Overall, my girlfriend and I felt we had been cheated. We were sold a modern and clean 4-Star resort with amenities. Instead we got an aged hotel with mosquitoes, cockroaches, wild cats and unfriendly service.

Amz, wonderful...

The emplacement is really good, between Willemstad and Westpunt. The service at Room and restaurant is quiet, professionnel! Seriously the personnel is awesome. And if you like tranquillity you just need to go at this place!
