Great Holiday!

This was our second stay at Yucatan Princess. The weather, and staff were great. Swim-up room was great. We were well placed, close to the main pool and restaurant. Weather was beautiful, and cannot say enough praise for the, amazing!!

Excellent resort

Our first trip to Mexico and it didn’t disappoint. Rooms were HUGE, massive shower, well equipped. Food-fantastic (gained 7 pounds). Staff amazing. We did not want to leave. Will most likely go back.

Return visit

This was our second swim out vacation to PYP in 3 years & yes, we would go back! Being a nice size resort, the lineups at the restaurants & buffet were never long. Good food, room service & front line staff were most accommodating. The property is still very well maintained & clean. Seaweed is an issue (but this is beyond their control), nevertheless, the crew was handling the problem daily.

Great Adult All-Inclusive!

The Yucatan Princess made for a fun relaxing trip. The resort is lovely and clean and I can not say enough about the friendly staff- it truly felt like home there. The restaurant and food selection was great. We took our adult sons and wives and were hoping there was enough for them to do, being younger and more adventurous! From the shows to paddle boarding, wildlife, foam party and great beach - we all had a blast! Disappointing

Our overall experience in this resort wasn’t great. Night 1 when checking in the lady was super unfriendly. We found blood on our bedsheets and when reported they were very casual about it. This happened two more times (blood on the sheets) and the response was always very casual. The food was terrible and not all the restaurants were even open. This is NOT a luxury resort. Would not go back.

Love it here!

This was my second time at this resort, and it didn't disappoint me. I will definitely go back again! The staff is friendly and accommodating. This time we stayed in one of the swim-up rooms and loved it! I would like to say thank you to Bryon and Rogelio in the buffet dining room, Juan in the resort's boutique, Adelaida and Lucita at the Spa, (apologies if I spelled any names wrong). I recommend bringing water shoes if you want to go in the ocean, since it's more rocky close to shore. You can also walk down the beach and find a place with more sand in the ocean that has tropical fish swimming around. There is plenty of food selection in the buffet, and the à la carte restaurants are good as well. I have a lot of food allergies, so if I can find food to eat, then anyone should be able to. They have premium alcohol at this resort as well. You can be in the noisy, fun area of the resort, or there are places in the resort where you can enjoy a quieter and serene atmosphere. The nightly entertainment is definitely higher-end, nothing compared to Cuba or the Dominican Republic. The rooms and comfy beds are very nicely done, large, clean and comfortable. Honestly, the only complaint I could have is that when we went at the end of December, the pools were chilly because the temperature outside dropped to 60°F every night, which is beyond the resort's control. I will definitely go back for a third visit! Thank you to all of the staff at the Platinum Yucatan Princess resort!

Amazing resort

This resort has beautiful grounds.The staff were welcome, helpful, warm and friendly. Food was always great and lots of variety from restauranst to buffet and snack bar by the beach. Amazing entertainment at night. Truly left satisfied with all that this resort had to offer from beautiful rooms to friendly staff. Definitely coming back.

Really good resort

The hotel is great but it's starting to show its age and could use renovations soon, they're currently doing the Grand Riviera next door so maybe once that's complete. Great food at all the restaurants, even at the buffet. Staff at the resort were great and helpful when needed. But some bartenders seemed disengaged. Most of the pools were shaded most of the day and were quite cold. Overall it was a great resort and all the pros outweigh the few cons

Beautiful and friendly!

This was our fourth time visiting the Princess hotels, my first at Yucatan. It's beautiful there. Quiet and friendly atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and polite - Amaury, Javier, and unfortunately I forgot the man who helped us at the front desk to change rooms. They were all great! The beach, unfortunately, had too may rocks. This being said, we did spend almost all of our time over at Sunset - which is GORGEOUS NOW!!! The renovations are immaculate. I loved it there so much! Awesome experience

We loved everything about this resort. It was the perfect time of year to get out of the Canadian cold. The accomodations, service, food and entertainment exceeded our expectations. We look forward to returning in the future.

Love coming back

Stayed here once again for the 4th time, and we really do think that this resort could be the best overall value on the Mayan Riviera. A Junior Deluxe Swimout room here was the same price as non-swimout rooms at other 4.5 star resorts, and the room layout and swimout pool design are perfect. Buffet for breakfast was consistently good, and the a la cartes were more than adequate. Being able to eat at the sister resorts’ restaurants is a nice privilege as well. Vacation at Platinum Yucatan Princess

Recently stayed at this resort. November 21-28 2025. We really enjoyed our week at Platinum Yucatan Princess. The resort is beautiful, clean and the staff were absolutely amazing. The concierge, bell boys, servers in all of the restaurants, bars, pool entertainment and the night entertainment team were terrific! The shows were fantastic! The food and drinks were great as well. Beyond expectations

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like royalty. From the front desk staff to the bellhops to the restaurant staff right down to the lovely lady who cleaned our room, everyone was kind and courteous always with a smile. Food was amazing! Grounds were beautiful. My wife and friends had the massage and came out relaxed and content. Thank you so much for making our holiday one of the best we have had. Was just Ok

The resort was dated. Customer service representative at the concierge were not overly helpful and could not accommodate our request for double beds, despite the resort not being busy. The food was mediocre at best- however the servers were fantastic! Attentive and kind! We did not get nightly turn down service as advertised. Was not worth the upgrade, except for the location and the distance to the beach. The beach grill was fantastic as well, food was fresh and hot for lunch! Would not go back to this resort.

Amazing Resort

The resort was amazing from start to finish. The food was amazing and the activities were enticing to participate. I will definitely be visiting in the near future. Thank you for the amazing time again.

Super Relaxing Solo Travel!

As a solo-female-traveller I had such a fantastic time at the Platinum Yucatan Princess. The swim-out facing the nature preserve area was pure bliss. Big thank you to Tracey at Trip Central for making booking easy peasy!

Very good bang for buck

I think overall it's quite good but falls short of real "5 star luxury". I've only been to one other resort which was actually this sister property next door. This definitely felt like a solid step up from that - especially the buffet. Rooms were quite good, we got the private hot tub room but it was more like a regular tub with a few jets. You could add hot or cold water. We were in building one which was pretty quiet but a bit far from restaurants. Went into the town for a day via shuttle whic [... read more]h was $5 USD/person/way. Beautiful Resort

My girlfriend and I spent a week here at the Platinum Yucatan Princess and had the most incredible time. The resort was amazing: beautiful, fun, and friendly. Our junior deluxe room was awesome. It was spacious, clean, and with a gorgeous view. We enjoyed the buffet (especially during breakfast) and made it to the Bruschetta and Rodeo Grill twice each. Loved both restaurants. We had access to the family resort and all their pools, restaurants, bars, etc, which was a quick 2 minute walk from our resort, and found their beaches much more swimmable (due to seaweed at ours). We had no issues walking down to the other beaches for swimming and still enjoyed sitting by the water at ours, especially in the later evenings. One of the highlights would certainly be the amazing and friendly service we experienced. Christopher checked us in and checked us out, he was so kind, very friendly, and made sure we were taken care of. David did a phenomenal job taking our photos and was a pleasure to talk to. Our massage was also great, would definitely recommend visiting the spa! The pools were another highlight, the poolside service was great and the pools themselves were gorgeous. There were so many private pools to relax in and the party pool was a blast. Overall an incredible trip, an amazing resort, no negative surprises from what we had expected and researched, but far exceeded our expectations.

Great resort!

Absolutely, that’s the Place to be at and fully enjoy the surroundings within resort facilities. Food was delicious, pools are clean and spacious, and staff was helpful and courteous! Beach was good only a lot if rocks in the water not sandy at all. Overall, Great vacation at great place for reasonable price.

Beautiful Stay

Absolutely outstanding stay! The hotel was spotless, the staff were friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, with great presentation and the amenities exceeded expectations. Truly impressed and will definitely be coming back again soon with my husband!
