Resort was not the one

For the price we paid for grand lido it was certainly not worth it, our Ac was broken and we had fans, they attempted to move us only to the room next door which was same issue, the whole week there we had two fans in order to keep our room cold. We had a leak due to the ac that was broken in our room. Very disappointing as this was my 3rd time at royalton in general and i came back only for the service but to receive terrible service from upper management. The staff are however friendly but t [... read more]hey have no authority to help you during inconveniences and its ultimately the managers that make a decision and dont really care to take care of issues or even follow up… The manager i spoke to the first night was suppose to follow up the next day for the Ac and i never ended up hearing from him and I had to follow up with my own butler to look into the AC or at least move us. The washroom also had mold, which is not okay for guests to stay in. The food at all 3 hotels was decent definitely fell off from the last time i was there. It is a all natural hotel which means you have to be naked to use grand lidos facilities and if you’re not comfortable like us and didn't know, i would certainly not recommend this hotel at all.

A Great Place to Relax and Unwind

The rooms are well appointed. The food is exceptional, especially at the Ocean Point alfresco restaurant. Since there are only 26 rooms the pool bar and restaurant provide personalized, attentive service. The access to the sea is awkward due to a poor vertical ladder. Beach shoes are recommended.

Amazing resort

We have been to this resort three times now and always enjoy it. Clean rooms and resort and amazing food. Decent night life and entertainment. Friendly staff Great location and beaches We highly recommend this resort Lots of activities nearby if interested

Amazing Hotel and Lovely staff

We had a wonderful vacation at this hotel. It was our first trip to Jamaica and great staff of Grand Lido made it unforgettable for us. Thanks to Kimberly, Orane, Betina, Tiana and our great butlers. love you guys.

Great property!

The property is beautiful and very clean. The rooms are amazing. Food could use improvement especially the room service. The service was very bad at first and it took time for them to change and gain some commonsense. The management at first did not care for my requests which were not above and beyond but just something I was simply asking for that I saw on their online website. Otherwise the resort it's self is stunning

Staff and Amenities are great

The Lido guest has access to diamond club, hideaway and all Royalton amenities but we mostly stayed iat the Lido pool during the days. Service was great in the building and around the reggae bar and grill. No beach on this side, but there’s is private access to the ocean via ladder and private cove; didn’t miss the sand at all. Very private and quiet, never more than a few handfuls of guests, plenty of room for everyone to engage in conversation, games or have solitude.

Picture perfect resort, but...

The staff was great! However we had a feeling that they were under stress and they didn't look very happy. One night, we had a foam party and the staff were told that same day that they had to stay longer since they had decided to do that party. I don't think that the staff liked it having already spend the entire day there. Also, there was a rainy night and they had dinner set outside at the Ocean Point Bistro. The restaurants were very good, however even though we got some reservatuons for them, they would close some restaurants on the same day. It was very disappointing as we were looking forward to go to the restaurant that we had chosen and last minute we find out that they are closed. And this happened almost on a daily basis. As for the "Au Naturel Grand Lido", it felt weird to go from there and to have to go with the families for the beach or for the restaurants (except for two). Only a small portion of the beach was for adults only and you had to have a bathing suit on. I think you either make the whole compound Family only or Adults only. We felt that we were hidden in our own little corner. As soon as you left the Grand Lido small section, you had to have your clothes on and not even topless. The gym was super nice! We tried the TRX class and it was one of the best class I have ever been to and my husband loved it too. I don't remember the name of the instructor, but he was excellent. We also did the Aqua form and that too was good, but not has remarkable as the TRX. We had the service of a bottler. It was nice as they would try to help you with any need you may had. If you are looking for Magazine Perfect like facilities, it is the best place like five stars, but for the Au Naturel experience, it is far from perfect like a two or three stars.
