This place is a must. Great food all around, very neat premises, great service Great service. I had forgotten one pill (diabetes), and customer service got my missing pill in 90 minutes to my room……..

Beautiful Resort

Our Stay The resort was beautiful from the minute you drove through the gates. The grounds were spotless with every tree trimmed perfectly and a super modern designed lobby. The entire staff treated us fantastic all so friendly . The carts were plentiful to take us around the resort as well it was fun going on the boats to some destinations. The room was spectacular. I was a bit nervous about the open view to the bathroom but they had a full remote controlled blind so it was totally private. [... read more] Never had any problems with hot water, bar always filled. The beds were very comfortable. All of the restaurants and the buffet had ample selections and the food was great. The beach had the softest white sand the waves were a bit rough some days but a great beach. It was one of the nicest vacations I have ever had. I would recommend that hotel to everyone would love to go back again for two weeks this time. We were a group of 5 and all like to dance and drink and have a good time even though we are older still love having fun.

Great holiday

After a not very welcoming reception experience, the rest of our stay was truly enjoyable. The people working on resort were very helpful and friendly, appreciated a tip but did not seem to base their work upon this. The beach is beautiful - fine white sand, long and felt very safe to go for a good walk. The water is warm. Lots of loungers and umbrellas at the beach and pools. Entertainment each night with a variety of options. They have invested in the quality of entertainment, stage, etc. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Restaurants were great - main buffet is huge, clean and offers great variety. Lunch at the beach buffet never disappointed. Loads of choice, fresh fish to order and a lovely venue. A la cart places were all well done. .

This resort has it all.

This resort was amazing!! Having travelled to numerous resorts over the last 20 years (25+ trips) this resort has figured it out. There is designated areas for families, adults (no kids) and club members, each having their own little resort inside the Grandpalladium complex. They have a lot of the restaurants, coffee shops, sports bar, sky bar and theatre all in the same vicinity calling it the village, this is also great as there is a nice atmosphere in the evenings for people to enjoy. I will be back for numerous holidays.

Fair at best

To start with when we arrived in our room it smelled like mould and mildew, the tables had actual crud stuck on them, thankfully I brought lysol wipes and was able to clean them. The cupboard door to access the fridge was off the hinge and falling apart. The bathroom shower had mould all along the floor at the bottom of the glass. Great Resort, Amazing staff!

Everything was amazing at the resort minus the last day when I was leaving. I was five Minutes late which was my fault to meet my bus transport to the airport and when I came downstairs no one informed me who the bus driver was. I was outside next to the driver and he wouldn’t even speak with me. He ignored Me and took some pictures and left. This made me very upset. Anyway I asked the bell boy to arrange private transportation and the transportation cost me $147 US dollars. Unbeknownst to t [... read more]hem, I saw the driver give money To the bellboy for a referral I guess that I technically paid for. It’s really unprofessional to trust a high end resort to arrange something for you and you become a victim of this scheme. Anyway the fault was Mine but to top it all off, the nexus transportation company when contacted said the driver was late picking us up about 15 minutes. When I advised the lady that driver came and left “no show up notice” she was shocked and told me that the driver has to contact them for no shows but he never did. She even tried to get me to triple check to see if my info was on the “no show notice” because she was shocked about this situation. Anyway it left a really bad taste with me and made me feel the whole thing was a setup.

Beautifully Constructed, Poorly Maintained

Really nicely designed and spacious property. Never felt too crowded, easily able to get spots by the pool and beach Beach is windy and constant waves, some seaweed that they try to clean up each day Food is meh everywhere, best thing i had was fish on the grill We had perfect weather Jan 15-22, 2023 and that was the main attraction The pool by the Fizz bar was a nice spot

*Beautiful Resort!* *Detailed Review*

I will be giving our detailed review, it's a bit long but I believe it could be helpful! :) We went 8 days in May 2022 and stayed at Grand Palladium The Resort and our experience was overall pretty amazing. The premises are new since resort was built in 2018 if I'm not mistaken and there is constant maintenance happening. ROOM: Our room was really nice, we got the junior suite with garden view , very spacious, nice closet, with hair drier, jacuzzi bath tub, shower, seating area,  [... read more]couch, TV with movies and room service menu ,king bed, balcony with 2 chairs and a table to spend some time outside. we didn't care much for the view since we spent most time outside the room, if you pay a bit more you get a better view. Room had good AC, they refill your fridge everyday at no extra cost. The only complaint we had of the room is that they gave us an interconnected room , where you could hear EVERYTHING, and on the other side was a big family ( we also have kids we know and understand, BUT we wanted some quiet time ), at the front desk they were very understanding, helpful and gave us a different room at no cost and no hassle. Also be aware the floors in all rooms are tile, EXTREMELLY slippery so wear slippers at all times, especially coming out of shower. POOL: --The Main pool was great, spacious and always had shade for us, It has one bar inside the water and one outside, both were great as well with great service ,the staff around the pool were always asking if we needed anything. There is a small buffet by the pool with finger foods, which is very helpful since the 2 main buffets available at the resort are far from the pool. BEACH: --The Beach is Beautiful, only a TINY bit of seaweed, ocean was a bit aggressive because there had been a few storms the days before, we were told the ocean its pretty calm otherwise, but we still went into water and enjoyed it. A bit harder to get a chair with shade unless you go early in morning I'm guessing .its a pretty long beach, you can walk either way and get your steps in lol and it also had a little spot with some finger food or one of the main buffets is by the pool so no problem there. MOVING AROUND RESORT : The resort its PRETTY big! they have golf carts with drivers running around all day all over the resort, starting at 7 am to drive people around. You just hop in, ask where you want to go and they take you anywhere, but there were none running late at night after 11PM I would say. I like walking and after a few days figured our way around the resort. FOOD : --They have 2 main buffets. both have different schedules: one by the beach with less selection of food and less seating space ( but useful if you spend the day at the beach), and the other buffet is by the Lobby ( so both are in opposite places of resort ) , LOTS of food selection in my opinion and more seating space then in the one by beach, never had to wait to get my food or to be seated .Both have chefs cooking the food as you ask it so pretty fresh and also food that is already cooked. There is another small buffet by the pool, with burgers, hotdogs and finger foods. --There is many a la carte restaurants, only went to the Italian and Japanese and both were great ,and heard all the other ones were good as well. ( just recommend to do the reservations as soon as you get your room number especially for the Japanese Teppanyaki tables as they book REALLY fast ) --And there is a "sports bar" that is open 24/7 for the late food cravings in the "village mall" with a nice vibe , with foosball tables and pool tables. ADULTS ONLY/FAMILY SELECTION --Inside of the same resort they have TRS section, its adults only with their own pool and special services, and then family selection with their own pool as well and different accommodations for families, if you book your room at Grand Palladium you WILL NOT have access to all those specific areas, so something to consider. 'VILLAGE MALL" --They have the "village mall" inside the resort , with a few shops and that's where all the a la cart restaurants are located, the theater is also there where all the night shows ( different theme every night with dancers) for kids and other shows happen, and also they have an "open sky" bar where a DJ comes after 10 PM if you want to dance and enjoy until 1 AM. SPA -- We went to the spa to get a couples massages and use the hydrotherapy pools and it was a really good and relaxing experience as well! (we got a coupon otherwise its pretty expensive) we would totally recommend it! TOURS they offer many different tours, with different companies, so there are many options to choose from. We went to "Isla Mujeres" , had a blast but suffered from what we and the Doctor think of Heat Exhaustion after the trip on the boat, but still managed to enjoy the rest of my stay as much as possible! NOW THE ONLY recommendations I would have for the Resort, would be : - to provide an Optional Full TOUR of the resort once you arrive since most of the time you have to wait anyway for your room (which I've had in other resorts) where they could show you the premises, restaurants everything else to do, where to go eat etc, and also what NOT to do , what might be common sense to some common travelers it's not for people who don't travel often and want to take advantage of every second you have on vacation! It might be helpful to know to take breaks during the day from the heat and sun to avoid heat exhaustion ( actually I did get sick myself with heat exhaustion and spoke with other people at the resort suffering from the same) ,saw some pretty bad sunburns and quit a few poor little kids sick and upset from all the sun exposure and tropical heat. They have a doctor on site but again if the resort provided a WELCOME tour with all the info necessary to enjoy the resort and avoid getting sick it could save travelers time and money! -Also if the resort could allow early check in , even if it would have an extra fee, we had to waited 5 hours to get our room, 5 wasted hours without a welcome tour so didn't know what to do, where to go and also we were really tired since our flight journey started at 2 Am, so we asked and there was no option of early check in not even at an extra cost, something we would probably have paid and we saw a LOT of people hanging by the lobby for many hours since their flights were early as well and didn't know what to do, so early check in should be an option. -- I also believe the Resort as of now is short staffed , so we were told by some nice workers from the resort, so some services by the pool and other places may be a bit slow but the service was amazing from our experience! We would Totally recommend this resort to others and hope to go back to Mexico!

Upgrade to Family Selection!! A must

The hotel was beautiful the grounds were very well-kept we upgraded to the family selection which provided access to the all adult side of the resort the TRS coral in my opinion this was a very worthwhile upgrade I’m not sure that we would’ve been completely content without having this extended access. overall this was a lovely resort the service was definitely hit and miss some wonderful service and some not so great attention. Food was also good but not great and was hit and miss. Super clean rooms but spotty service for housekeeping and replenishing towels and toiletries. But very very clean rooms. Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres

the Grand Palladium is a beautiful clean and modern hotel, excellent pools, great service with extremely friendly staff The food is good but for me not 5 star, the buffets have no variety, each night and lunch is exactly the same, a lot of things do run out early and they don't seem to replenish The a la carte restaurants are excellent

Overall great, outstanding room!

While this hotel still has growing pains to settle, overall we had a great experience. ROOMS: amazing! We were in a loft suite and this was a game changer with a baby. We knew we would be spending allot of time there so having the 2 floors meant we could still enjoy the room while the baby was sleeping. Only things that could have made it better are 24hr room service and a room with an oceanview (assigned at random). FOOD/ DRINKS: best part was definitely the coffee shop! The resport is really big, takeout wasn’t an option and we had a baby that needed to sleep. This lack of flexibility was super inconvenient. BEACH was good, never a problem getting chairs, waiter service was good as well. POOLS: baby loved the kids pool. It was the perfect size for her and she enjoyed the different jets. Water was warm as well. The beach pool was nice, quiet and warm. It was a nice depth as well. Again, good waiter service. Lots of chairs. SPA treatments were good and the healthy bar has good smoothies. OVERALL: we enjoyed the resort. It was new, clean, great personable staff. We did find the service quite inconsistent, at times rigid and a lack of communication amongst staff. For example, sometimes we could bring our stroller on the boat, sometimes not, laundry wasn’t picked up (night staff hadn’t communicated), we weren’t given the imperial club perks until we asked and even then, we were told diff things as to how to apply them. When we arrived just after after 11pm with a young child they told us of we wanted to eat we had to walk or take the golf cart 10 mins away for a sit down meal. No room service, no snacks and no takeout. Seemed very rigid. We were also promised a room change on day 3 when it was available but it was then given to someone else. The boat and golf cart services were also not reliable and consistent. Some nights there were mosquitoes so bug spray is useful. These were all pretty minor inconveniences but meant we spent more time at reception than we wanted. Overall, great resort!

Grand Paladium, Mayan coast

The food was good, sometimes very good. I was particularly impressed by how much attention you pay to peoples' food allergies. Very good. For me, who is gluten-free and dairy-free, I was very grateful. It is rare to find the kind of sensitivity you show all your food and dining areas, even by and large, in the dinner restaurants in The Village, I believe it is called. However, I was very distressed at the level of noise in our room, 1305 as I recall. Better check, I think that was it. We had [... read more] a patio that was very close to the basketball area and dancing lessons and other events that were accompanied by very loud music. If you want to have a nice nap toward the end of the day, forget it. Even sitting outside getting some sun was difficult. Yes, we could close the door. That diminished it somewhat, but it was still loud and offensive. on one of the days, i called the main desk to plead for it to be turned down. several times i called for that reason. TOO LOUD!!!!! but to no avail. They could just ask the ones doing the lessons to turn it down, it seems to me. ! the yoga teacher turned it down. she didn't want that blaring stuff around her people who found it stressful and ugly.

Very clean, nice and friendly

We really enjoy our stay. Even though, the weather was sometimes rainy right before winter holidays. There were always what to do for kids and for adults. Transportation to the restaurants was well organized for travellers who did not want to take a walk ( about 10min max). Me and my husband preferred to take advantage of the beautiful paths and my daughter of 20 with her friends always enjoyed the boat or golf cart ride. Food had a large variety and entertainment as well.

Family Selection gets 10 on 10!

We just got back from a one week vacation at the Family Selection Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres! Our 2-Storey room was simply gorgeous, clean and spacious! All the staff were authentically caring, fore coming and friendly! Service on the beach was quick and Ruby and Michael spoiled us all day long. Michelle and Fernanda, our concierges, could not have done a better job! They are exceptional! Deeply dissapointed

Hi and thanks for contacting us...actually our stay at GP was a complete dissspointment: the service was poor, I was full of mosquito bites every single day, no entertainment on the beach or pool site, when i complained about mosquitos the customer service rep sent me to the pharmacy to buy a remedy I will never consider this resort ever again. They used Rafael Nadal name to dub it a 5 star resort...far from that!!

Very nice resort

We went for 7 days to Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres. It was non day we can complain. Beautiful, nice design, modern place with plenty of restaurants a la carte, where we never had to book the seats, just "show and go". Food for every diet: meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans, plenty different kind of fresh , prepared in many ways fish, sea food, veggies, fruits. Amazing entertainment well prepared, nice arrangement, costumes, lights, sound. All day open coffee shop with nice tasty pastry and coffe [... read more]e in many ways. All day activities organized by staff ( yoga, pilates, soccer, volleyball ect...) Pools for every one, for kids, for adult only. You can get every were by foot, go-cart, or...boat, because it is long nice canal, where during night is water show. Problem is in the sports bar, if you want to change channel, even nobody is watching, you not allowed to watched important games if is not on it. Rooms nice, big, but clean very late even after 4pm. Very nice polite staff, wiling to help you with every thing...(very good experience with Luis).

Best resort experience. We have had ever

The resort was quite beautiful & breath taking, staff were very friendly and welcoming, helpful, especially lobby bar Jorge Luis, Francisco & bellboy Ulises. The buffet and restaurant were able to accommodate all allergies.the managers at the buffet and restaurant went above and beyond for my allergies. The spa treatments and facilities/pools were amazing. Drinks were always cold. Highly recommend the Mango Margarita. The beach and ocean was clean. Had wonderful pools and bars at each pool. The [... read more] taxi carts are quite helpful for getting around the resort and came by frequently. The village had a 24hr sports bar, they had games, pool and foosball tables, xbox, and more. Nice gift shops. Had free different entertainment shows main stage in the village at the resort every night. The only two things that could need to be improved was the rooms had too much moisture it affected our cell phones and everything was damp and have coca-cola products as well

Perfect Dream Getaway!!

The hotel was amazing. The rooms were very clean and quite large. The bathroom is quite big and the soaker tub was so relaxing. Clara kept our rooms clean. The Italian restaurant was our number one choice for a la carte and the steakhouse was our second choice. We did not enjoy the Mexican restaurant. The kids club came in so handy for us as we have a 6yr old daughter and 21mth old son. It was the first time I left my son with a sitter and Gloria was very patient with my lil guy as he is a han [... read more]dful. Our 6 year old loved the activities and enjoyed going for lunch with the other kids. She especially loved the huge pool and both kids enjoyed the kids pool with the slides. Ulises our bell man is amazing he took very good care of us and made sure we got to our room safely and picked us up on time to take the taxi back to the airport. The Poseidon buffet is across from the beach and the seafood was really good but I especially enjoyed the fresh stir fry made for you. There was plenty entertainment for the kids and adults and the stores are quite nice. The staff at the Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres resort is who made our vacation so amazing. They are all so polite and don’t ever pass you straight. They ensure to say Hola or Beunos Dias no matter who they are. We will definitely go back as we missed it the second we left!!! Can’t wait for our next vacation!

Extra luxury vacation

Amazing deal in new and amazing resort , great food and service.rooms were excellent and almost everything was included, good drinks and variety you cannot ran out of options.the resort is definitely one of the most luxurious one in Cancún. Learning some Spanish will be helpful
