Fantastic Resort!

We had a wonderful time at the Haven Riviera Cancun! The facilities were excellent, and the service was great! It's the first resort that my husband said we should come back to... While the beach had lots of seaweed, this is to be expected at a resort in this area. There were lots of spaces for loungers, and we never had trouble finding somewhere to sit around the pools.

Beautiful resort!

This was a beautiful resort! Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. This is definitely not a party type atmosphere, we went to rest and recharge. Beautiful grounds and extremely clean and well kept. The pools were very nice with ample chairs and towels. The food was very good but we would have enjoyed better lunch and breakfast options. Staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. The only disappointment was the beach and seaweed. Unfortunately we were not able to swim in the ocean.

Beautiful resort

The hotel is luxurious. My husband and went in 2022 and returned in 2025. Hands down the best resort for New Year’s celebration. Only draw back is that the serenity club gets overbooked and the private areas for club members is not exclusive so there were never any chairs to sit on by the pool.

Great Resort

The grounds were amazing, our maid went out of her way to insure all of our needs were met each and every day. The food I would say was better than other all inclusive that we have been too before. Our butler Adrian was nice but needs more coaching and needs to be informed about all details especially about aircanada transportation because he didn’t know anything. He tried but he didn’t know how we were going to get back to the airport but my husband went to the Conceige desk and the information [... read more] was there. The only negative thing we noticed after we got home was that all our belongings smelled very damp and musty. The room was very damp maybe because we had a swim out room. This would not stop us from going back here again. Wonderful facility.

Great Resort

Everything was top rate with this hotel. The food, the staff, the cleanliness were all above expectations The pools were awesome and servers ready to offer a drink were plentiful and attentive. The staff truly appeared happy and seemed to enjoy working at this resort.

Will be returning, hopefully soon.

Where do I start, the staff were amazing, Pat who drove the golf cart to pick us and made sure we got back to our rooms on the nights or days he worked. Ricardo who kept the beverages coming, how kind and a fine gentleman. Caesar who kept our power on, after their hairdryers blew fuses. Overall good

the location is not the best, service was good and people are nice. problem was in July, seaweed takes over the beach so you cannot swim in the sea. One restaurant has dress code of shirt, leather shoes.

Pleasant Stay

The food and drinks were very generous portions, great selection. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. The pools are very large and beautiful. The beach is beautiful but it has a lot of sea weed.

A mixed experience

The location of this resort is very convenient-just 15 minute ride from the airport and it is south of the hotel zone. This area makes it easy to walk along way on the beach. The lobby area is lovely and the check in experience went smoothly. Our flight had been delayed so the only dining option was room service which was fine. Overall food at the resort was good. Based on several past travel experiences at 5 star resorts we would not have expected to find blood stained sheets, tile falling off the walls, previously used toiletries in our room (it was toothpaste), stained and broken chairs around the pool, broken and rotting railing and stairs heading down to the beach. I believe this resort is approximately 8 years old but it is showing a lack of ongoing maintenance. We looked past the deficiencies and enjoyed a few days in the sun.

Wonderful staff

The staff at this resort are wonderful and a very special thank you to Moises at the circular pool for being so kind and friendly and cheerful every day! The entertainment was also excellent with a very professional show and dinner at the dinner theatre and also a great burlesque show in Moons cabaret. The beach is nice and great for walking. The resort itself is just OK and doesn’t feel very welcoming. There is construction next door which will wake you up early if you are in building 2. Th [... read more]ey don’t seem to make an effort not to use these rooms unless needed and wait until you complain to move you even when there are quiet rooms unoccupied. The rooms are showing their wear and the towels are getting ragged. They do have beautiful balconies with spa tubs though which are very nice. The food is OK but disappointing at times and not always hot. This has not been one of our favourite resorts so unfortunately we would not return or recommend it to our friends.

Fantastic Resort In Mexico

Resort was overall superb and highly recommended. Food was excellent with a lot of variety and was well-prepared. Serving staff were always accommodating and attentive. Only criticism of food was to make sure that the excellent soups (and morning oatmeal) are served hot, not warm. The coffee shop was excellent and friendly and had lots of tasty treats throughout the day. The service overall was excellent, professional, accommodating, warm and friendly. Our room attendant was wonderful, efficient and made lots of little extra touches to make our stay and room special. The only suggestion for the room is to try and get rid of the musty smell. When we got home, all of our clothes and luggage smelled musty. The pools and beach were wonderful. The beach was cleaned of the ocean grasses daily. The beach attendant for drinks was great. The gardens and grounds of the resort were impeccably manicured and maintained. It was wonderful to walk about the resort which was so clean and beautiful! Our butler was wonderful and helpful. The spa was very nice too. Special shout out to the 2 performing sisters and all of the Mexican dancers and singers, and to the musicians who all gave us great afternoon and nightly entertainment. Best holiday destination for adults

The food choices were a great variety. Food was fresh, portion sizes were excellent and meal service was impeccable. App was easy to use to book reservations for dinners. Ocean front room was beautiful and spacious. Cleaning staff cleaned the room every day. Grounds were beautiful. Friendly staff, wonderful butler service with the Serenity Club upgrade. Lots of activities to choose from or you could simply sit at the pool all day and relax.

Would definitely go back

This resort is absolutely beautiful and the facilities are always so clean. But the food here was the highlight of the trip as every restaurant served delicious and high quality food. The only criticism I would give is I wish they did more day activities by the pool as most days it was just mainly the DJ playing music. The shows they had every night made up for it, super entertaining! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we would definitely go back in the future.

Amazing resort!!!

It was the best vacation we’ve ever had. Everything was perfect the pool, the food the drinks and the service was immaculate. Highly recommend to others. Best resort I’ve ever been to. Cannot wait to go back again. Rooms were so clean, best room service! Thank you Jenn for helping us!

Not good

People were awesome just one detail someone came to visit me for the ni that I paid the night pass and went for dinner. Now they asked her to leave at 2 am in the middle of nowhere. I had to leave with her since this lady was a very good friend of mine. One thing to mention if you guys sell night passes make it as people can leave at a reasonable time for instance 6 or 7 am specially in the middle of nowhere since this place it’s like 30 mins away from Cancun downtown. Don’t wake people up at 1  [... read more]am and asked them to leave . Other than that the service and place look decent decent food. I don’t drink alcohol so I cannot review about the drinks. Thanks for asking me to leave at 2 am.

Perfect Getaway!

The perfect couples getaway! We had a four day stay at Haven Cancun Riveria and it was just what we needed to relax and recharge. We enjoyed using the gym, the yoga classes and spent lots of time at the quiet pool. We also had fun at the "party pool"! It's a beautiful, modern and clean resort. The staff work really hard to keep the grounds immaculate and to meet your needs. The circus style show was fantastic! The beach was the only downside, as it is not well kept. Obviously the seaweed issue is out of their control and we knew that when choosing this resort, however more care is definitely needed at the beach. The sand could be groomed and garbage on the beach could be picked up. Overall, this low key resort is perfect for couples looking to escape!

Perfect week in Mexico

Haven Riviera Cancun is a beautiful resort located just 15 minutes from Cancun airport. Rooms are spacious, clean with large balconies, we had an ocean view which was great. The patio furniture could be a little more comfortable but it was fine. The restaurants are all good we enjoyed the Italian and steak house the most the lobster upgrade was expensive but very good. There was nightly entertainment which was your basic resort shows a couple were pretty good. We did the chocolate and tequila tasting which was worth the price, there are lots of activities for those that are interested. Really enjoyed the entire trip including the golf, this is a really nice resort if you are not looking for pristine beaches this area has the seaweed problem the resort does their best to control it. The serenity club upgrade did offer some good features like the private lounge and restaurant as well as the pool and beach area. Overall This is a great resort I would highly recommend we had no issues the entire trip Thanks O’Neil from Trip Central for a.ways being there when we need you.

Beautiful resort.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful. A very clean modern looking hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Customer service is outstanding .The Flavours Market Buffett is excellent with a wide selection of food for any meal. Various pools to suit your needs. Beach had seaweed in water on some days.

Great Adults only resort

Upon arrival(230pm) to the resort we got checked in immediately. We did over hear some other guests having to wait until 3pm for check in. Bell services walked us up to our suite in bldg 3. Elevator was not working but we got to use the staff elevator. Room was ultra spacious, clean and we made use of the hot tub the few nights we were there. There is Bluetooth in the washrooms for those that get ready with music. Quiet pool was not crowded, there were even spots available early afternoon. [... read more] You could faintly hear the dj at the main pool. Beach was okay. Sand is nice. There is drinks service on the beach. Water was only murky with sand. No Seaweed. Food was pretty good. Buffet is not the top choice but alacarte made up for it. Drinks were not consistent. I always asked for doubles poolside but really got tipsy when I got a double at the buffet. Our airport shuttle arrived at 6:50 am and when we left for the lobby at 6:30 am we were super surprised that there were ZERO lights to guide us to the lobby. Basically got there by moonlight. scary because A. Animals B. There were a lot of glass panels missing on the inclined walkway with, at least 20ft drop. Overall, I would recommend and I would go back on a deal. Service staff were very nice throughout.

Superb resort

Had a wonderful very relaxing week, excellent resort, very friendly happy staff. I will definitely recommend this outstanding resort. Wonderful facilities, A la carte was superb, We enjoyed the coffee shop, room service, pools, DJ, Moon cabaret, shows and Beautiful over all .
