3 night 4 day Trip

At first we thought the distance to the beach would be an issue but it was not at all. It was nice to make the beach a full day event and plan for it. The rooms were great. The pools were cool and each building had its own pool. We only went for 4 days and 3 nights and that was perfect for us.

1000/10 Experience — Definitely Coming Back!

I had such an amazing trip with my boyfriend, and this hotel truly made the experience unforgettable. We stayed in the Master Suite, and the room was huge, beautiful, and had an amazing view. Everything was always kept clean, and housekeeping did a great job making sure the room stayed fresh throughout our stay. The food was really good overall. I’d rate the buffet about a 7/10, but the restaurant food was veryyyyy good definitely a 9/10. Just make sure you make reservations because it’s wort [... read more]h it! The drinks were amazing too, and the service throughout the hotel was excellent. The staff were so kind, welcoming, and helpful, and honestly, the hotel and the staff were spot on. Everything about this stay felt relaxing, beautiful, and well taken care of. I would definitely come back, and specifically to this hotel again. Overall: 1000/10 experience. Highly recommend!

Great family resort

Had a great stay with multiple families with little kids and grandparents! The rooms are absolutely beautiful, best AI room I've seen. Having a separate area to put down a baby or toddler in every room, then still sit and enjoy your living space is really nice. The resort is kept spotless which we appreciated. The splash pad is amazing, we had fun with kids from 6 months up to 5, and the bigger slides are fun with adults too! Having separate areas for separate ages at different water de [... read more]pths was really great. The main pool is beautiful, had plenty of day beds available as well. And a little kid pool just behind it. We never had a problem getting chairs or a shady place to sit. Poolside service was decent, not quick, but available. It's also right beside the new coffeeshop where you can get iced capps etc which we loved. We booked one swim up room between our group so we could all use it while our kids napped. The patio area was huge. The service was mixed. A lot of unfriendly service where you felt a bit like you were bugging them, but a few standout service members as well. Our concierge Eduardo was really helpful, our housekeeper Clarita was so sweet and amazing, and the bartender at the pool bar is awesome. Reservation system is really annoying. We only got 2 reservations over our 7 night stay. It took an hour wait in a line to get them. The buffet food was much better than both of them though. We really enjoyed the offerings at the buffet for all meals! There was a big variety and it was all good. Fun Republic was really fun for the kids. Bring socks, and headphones. Beach was beautiful and shuttling there was no problem. Overall it was a wonderful stay. I think my toddler had the best week of her life. A few kinks to work out but honestly it seems like they're working hard to improve!

Perfect 5 Star

Beautiful and clean. Many good and beverage options. Perfect for families, couples or bachelor/bachelorettes. Friendly and helpful staff. Positivity everywhere. We went for a special occasion birthday and the concierge was a huge help in making the trip even more special.

Luxury all-suite resort

This resort was very well maintained both inside and out. The rooms were spacious one- bedroom suites. We enjoyed the buffet and restaurants were good. Quality of food was very good. Beautiful beach was 2-minute trolley ride away. Staff were very nice and it’s a very family friendly resort with a water park and many fun activities for children. Can take a free trolley to nearby hotel with a casino. Highly recommend this resort for an upscale holiday.

Great Modern Design

The suites are spacious and modern. The beach was amazing and service at the beach was fabulous. Thanks Jose for a wonderful experience. The food and restaurant reservation policy were a disappointment.

This is not it

Overall Rating: 2/5 This resort fell well short of expectations and should not be marketed as a 5-star property. While the room layout works well for families and young kids enjoyed the splash pad, the overall experience was inconsistent and frustrating—especially when travelling as a larger group with couples, children, and grandparents. Major issues included the lack of a resort app, making basic tasks like restaurant reservations inefficient and confusing. Language barriers with many st [... read more]aff made it difficult to get help or provide feedback, often leading us to give up altogether. Dining was a significant disappointment: over an entire week, we were only able to secure one à la carte reservation for two people. Multiple times, reservations for our full group were “confirmed” only to be missing when we arrived. If à la cartes are important to you, this is not the resort. Cleanliness and maintenance need serious improvement. Rooms showed signs of wear, furniture was dirty, appliances malfunctioned, and housekeeping was below average even with tipping. The grounds and pools lacked upkeep, with visible litter and residue left unattended for days. Hospitality also felt lacking—service was often slow or dismissive, and tipping did not improve the experience. Additional drawbacks included inconsistent room amenities, no designated coffee bar, basic décor throughout the resort, limited drink menus, and a kids club that does not allow parent participation. Despite being marketed as beachfront, the beach is at least a 15-minute walk away. Overall, we came based on recommendations and high reviews but would not return. For a similar price point, resorts like Lopesan offer a far superior, more polished, and reliable experience.

Excellent vacation!

We stayed in Paradisus Grand Cana on November 12-19, 2025. Resort in very conveniently compact with close proximity to everything except beach which was not very attractive to us because of infant child travelling with us. All amenities were found in very good state, clean rooms, very good service. If you prefer swim-off suite we advice to book it upfront before arriving to the resort since upgrade in the resort is insanely expensive. Buffet food is a bit limited in variety but always freshly ma [... read more]id, no line-ups, sufficient selection for everyone's taste. A la carte restaurants: we advise only steakhouse and Asian cousin, two others are on open air and they have very long waiting time. Perhaps, you may have different experience.

Dec 2024

The hotel faculties were clean and well kept. The room was spacious. The beach was clean and free of seaweed. Although there was not direct walking access to the beach, they did have transportation to the beach area. The food in the buffet was always the same. Although they indicated specials, eg mexican Day, USA day. There was no change. Food that was precooked sitting under heat was dry and hard. The A la carte restaurant food was inconsistent . One persons meal was perfect and the  [... read more]other persons food was burnt.

Amazing

Amazing resort. Best expérience ever Thanks a lot Kateryna Mikhailiuk She is amazing.she follow me step by step, And I m glad to havé her as advicer So helpful , respectful, thé hôtel is a dream , best food ever

Never again

We had a nice time until two things happened. The hotel went from 25% capacity to 100% capacity overnight. They had 1500 Jewish families all arrive at the same time. The group had their own wifi, the shut down the buffet to regular guests to accommodate their kosher diet, there was no longer a place to sit by the pool or beach. A lot of the times there was not adequate supervision for the kids. The kids were seen vomiting and pooping in the pools. To make matters worse, my husband and I got viol [... read more]ently ill on the last day. When we came back, we inadvertently gave it to our two young kids. Anyone that is a parent who has two young kids with a stomach bug knows how difficult it is to function and parent at the same time. I just don’t understand why the resort wouldn’t have just shut down entirely to accommodate the large group. Unfortunately this will be our last visit to this hotel along with all other hotels affiliated.

Amazing vacation at Falcons!

This is a fantastic family resort! We upgrades to the beyond experience and don’t regret it. The hotel is modern and well maintained and food was delicious. One thing to note is that evening entertainment is not the most fan but the do some activities. However, there are lots of activities for kids and adults during the day. The beach is a short ride away and the provide service every 5 min or so!

Beautiful resort

The grounds pools and food was amazing. I did not like that we had to shuttle to the ocean. The service was also awesome. Friendly staff . Good times had by all. Great place to visit family had an excellent time .
