Wonderful Stay at the Majestic- Elegance Club Side

Went in June 2026 with my wife and we had a wonderful stay. Had some some downs, but many ups! Ill break down each section Beach and Pools: Very clean and well maintained. The staff for those areas were great and provided great service. The staff are very clear not to drop your towels to reserve seats by the pool. They will take them. That didn't stop people from leaving their floaties. When it came to the seaweed the staff were on top of making sure the beaches were clean. There was lots of  [... read more]space to sit and relax in the sun or the shade. There is an infinity pool where a lot of the club member only people go. Lots of space in the pool and daily activities. Service: We checked in the adults only side. Check in was welcoming fresh towel and drink and whisked away to the adults only section. When we checked in we wanted a king but 2 doubles. They said the resort was completely booked. Still grateful to have a room, they did move our beds together. When we spoke to the butler, they were a little surprised we were told that and the next day they were able to get a room with a king bed. When the bellhop came to deliver our luggage, they asked where we wanted it, they didn't place it there. They kind of then cornered themselves in the far end of the room waiting for a tip taking the slow walk out. We had to get our money first from the bags. Little challenging. When we were able to give the tip, he appeared ungrateful and received a glare. Luckily the butler noticed this and was accommodating. (we try to tip where we can for everything). Everyone else was fantastic. Butler kept us posted with events and activities through whats app. Food: THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! They are very serious about allergies and with my wife being gluten free, there was lots of options. They will also send someone over to go through the menu for you at all the ala carts. If you do room service make sure you mention your allergy. We were able to try a different restaurant everyday and never bored. Be sure to check whats app every day because there is at least one restaurant closed every day. Make sure you hit the coffee bar in the main lobby. Great speciality coffees to have. Rooms: They were spacious and clean and never had any concern or complaints. We were usually back at the room by 330-400 and the rooms were done. You did not feel cramped in the room at all. Value. We felt we got our money worth. They do try to make sure you get the most out of your experience. Just make sure to watch the prices. Location: Great location. Clean beaches, white sand, It was about an hour from the airport. We were shuttled on a bus there, and on the way home, they didn't have enough people to validate the usage of a bus, so they gave a taxi straight back to the airport Overall: We will go back probably one year. This resort is more of a wedding hosting resort. Lots of weddings happening but also enjoyable and comfortable to be at.

Amazing resort!

We had an amazing time during our stay at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres! We originally booked to attend a friend's wedding, but we were blown away by the beauty and service at the resort. The grounds and buildings were all clean and beautifully decorated. The beach and pools were clean, and we appreciated that there were so many chairs/beds so we had no problems finding spots in a great location every time. Every staff member we interacted with were always so helpful, whether it be the excursion information at the towel booths/Go Majestic, or the concierge and check-in staff. We booked on the Adults only Club side and loved our butler, Novelo. He always went above and beyond, ensuring we were taken care of. We are extremely pleased with our stay and can't wait to return!

Beautiful and relaxing resort

I stayed at Majestic Costa Mujeres for a week and really enjoyed the peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. It’s noticeably quieter than many all-inclusives, making it a great choice for both couples and families who want a low-key getaway. The food was very good overall, with strong dinner options and consistently fresh selections. The steakhouse and seafood restaurant were standouts, and the ice cream was excellent. That said, lunch choices felt a bit limited. One downside was the seaweed on the  [... read more]beach, which at times affected the overall experience. Overall, it’s a resort I would go back to especially for the calm vibe, good food, and relaxing setting.

Lovely Resort with Overbooking Problems

We booked for a wedding almost a year in advance. Booked adult side of resort! When we got there we were told they had overbooked and we were offered same room on the family side. No discount offered. Not sure how overbooking can happen they only have so many rooms you would think once they were booked those rooms wouldn’t be available for anyone else to book. Other than that the resort was lovely but no better than some four star resorts we’ve been to.

Would Highly Recommend for a Relaxing Vacation

Loved our stay here over the New Year’s holiday. The resort was at very low capacity, so there was a bit of a shortage in staff. No poolside or beach service. Had to go to the bar. The Rooms, the food was amazing, beach is beautiful! It is a very quiet resort so quite relaxing if that’s what you are looking for.

Very nice

Staff were lovely and went above and beyond! Beach was lovely. Service was great. Staff was friendly and hardworking. Been to Mexico 8 times now and each time was a good experience. This resort tried really hard to please tourists and make it feel like home.

Fantastic Resort

Nice newer resort with great beach. All the restaurants were amazing, people were super friendly, they keep the resort spotless. It never seemed busy for the restaurants even though the resort was full. Would recommend this resort to anyone.

Best resort ever!!

Our first time visiting Majestic Elegance and we definitely recommend this resort and would love to return! Our airport arrival was met with nice staff that kindly directed us to where we could meet our bus to our hotel. Our check in was seamless. The arrival Staff had a nice fresh face towel and beverage waiting for us upon arrival. Check in was quick and our awesome butler, Yuri gave us a thorough resort tour, room explanation and how to use the app so we could reserve our dinner bookings  [... read more]at the fantastic French and Japanese restaurants. The app is also super handy to know which restaurants are open for breakfast lunch and dinner. Since we were club members we also had another butler named Alber that helped us with providing daily messages of the activities and resort awareness on WhatsApp. He also let us know when our room was cleaned and restocked daily. Our room housekeeper Nadia was super and our room was cleaned and refreshed twice a day, morning and night service. The refreshment specialist also refilled our minibar daily with our favourite things and plenty of bottled water. All of the restaurant staff were excellent. The ensured we had everything we wanted at every visit and our drinks were always refilled without us having to wait or ask. The attention and enthusiasm by the staff was outstanding. Couple of our favourite to mention are Guadeloupe and Rosemari. They provided us excellent service at the Italian à la carte restaurant. Our other favourite was Rolando at the pool bar near the towel centre. His bar tender services were the absolute best!! He was super friendly, attentive and always in a great mood. He kept us well hydrated and made our time at the resort so much fun. He also had many creative cocktails for us to try. Our favourite was Rolando’s special and the Majestic! The beach was very nice, the time of year we went (week of hurricane Melissa) created stronger waves than we preferred but the resort did a good job cleaning any debris and seaweed that was on the beach by daily cleaning. There were plenty of beach beds. The pool’s atmosphere was also nice. Different vibes at each pool which was good if you wanted a different experience throughout the visit. Our only complaint would be that there could be more overall property maintenance (chilled paint, tiles, etc) and the pools should be more thoroughly cleaned daily. Other than that our over all experience was 10/10. Highly recommend this resort for its staff, amazing food and drinks and the nightly entertainment was also great. Our favourite was the Mexican themed night with various authentic food around the central square with live entertainment and the Queen cover band. We also got to enjoy the World Series blue jay games at the legends sports bar. And the late night snacks at McJestic (McDonalds inspired) were perfect. The multiple weddings held daily on the resort were just breathtaking and very well executed by the resort staff. Overall, we will definitely return to visit this beautiful resort. Thanks Majestic Elegance for a wonderful experience!!

First Time

Had a fabulous time at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres. The hotel, pool and beach is beautiful. Staff were excellent especially our Butler Amado. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Keep in mind though that it is about an hour from Cancun airport.

Amazing resort.

We stayed in a skyview plunge pool room with a wonderful ocean view The room was well appointed The mini fridge contained pop, beer and water all of which was restocked regularly The food at the Japanese, French, Seafood and Italian restaurants was great The beach was spectacular The resort offered plenty of activities and good evening entertainment The highlight of this resort is the staff who go over and beyond to ensure that you have a wonderful time and we did

Great resort!

Great resort, clean and large spacious rooms. Food was good, but the buffet was really lacking. The restaurants were delicious especially the Italian and Steak house restaurant. We found the resort very quiet, and not busy at all. There was barely anyone at the beach daily - never had issues getting seats at the pool. We did like that they cleaned the beach from seaweed all day. Service was wonderful, and everyone was super friendly. There wasn’t many families with kids at the resort, we saw may [... read more]be 4-5 families with kids, they did have nightly kids activities at 7pm. We booked Aventour at the hotel to pick us up at the airport and they made us wait over 30min while letting two groups ahead of us who arrived after us. They kept telling us to wait, and it became very frustrating so we ended up taking another taxi. Wouldn’t recommend using Aventour through Majestics Website. Overall great vacation, loved the resort but did like the Royalton Cancun much better.

Dont' Go To This Hotel

The hotel is over an hour drive from the airport. Check in at the hotel took 2 hours, and we had priority check in. We were supposed to get a butler, which we didn't get. I never saw a butler during our stay. Food at the buffet, the bacon and sausage were cold each morning. The scrambled eggs were undercooked didn't taste good. Food at the French restaurant was overcooked. Poor selection of food. I had chicken which was a very thin slice of chicken with a very thick panko crust which w [... read more]as very dry. It came with mushrooms. It didn't even come with anything else such as potato, rice or salad. When I went to stand up, I put my hand on the table to stand up and the table tipped over spilling the drinks. It was a cheap table with only 1 leg. Food at the Steak restaurant was slow to get served and then rushed. We sat down at the table, and didn't get served for a long time. Then, when someone finally came to take our order, they brought the drink and dinner at the same time. It took a long time to get served and then it felt very rushed. The Beach has no bathrooms. It's a long walk from the beach to a bathroom. The Pool had cold water. Maintenance needs to be done on the building. Safety is a concern. Some of the tile floors are made of a very slippery material. Some of the pool floors are very slippery from water spilling over the side of the pool onto the walkway. The ramp going to the beach is very narrow and if walking at night or not paying attention its easy to not see the ramp and miss the step down and twist an ankle. I saw several people with crutches on the resort. There is no hand rail on several stairs. Entertainment is not good. It was boring. Some shows were worse than others. There were very few people who came to the shows and many left during the show. We had a flood in our room. Water came from the floor above into our room. Water was all over the whole floor and beds. The water was stinky (probably sewage) and went onto our clothes, toiletries and damaged my cell phone. I had to argue with customer service to get us a new room. They put us in a room with a king size bed instead of the 2 double beds that we had. Customer service said they would pay to replace the damaged cell phone. Despite several phone calls and emails, they have not paid for the damaged cell phone. It was not a relaxing vacation. I've been to many places and this was by far the worst.

A week in paradise

The grounds were beautiful, the food was great especially the steakhouse. On Saturday nights they do a huge mexican outdoor buffet with traditional dishes. Beach was stunning , not alot of seaweed, and waves were perfect. Pool servers were so nice and attentive, entertainment staff was honestly 5+++ stars, our kids were constantly entertained. Nothing negative to say. Was such a great trip! I would recommend this hotel to everyone! Thank you Carol for all your help.

Beautiful resort!

We stayed at the Majestic Elegance for 7 days and we have zero complaints! This resort is absolutely beautiful. The beach was so clean with soft white sand and there were always enough lounge chairs for us. The pool was large and spacious with some shade for when you need a break from the sun. The staff were so pleasant and welcoming. The resort and rooms were so clean and well kept. I wish we could have stayed longer because 7 days in this magical place was not enough! The food and drinks did n [... read more]ot disappoint. This resort is great for just couples looking to get away and is also kid friendly for families. The beach and restaurants were all within 10 min from each other so you don’t have to walk too far to get to them. I highly recommend this resort and will definitely be returning to it!

Not so Majestic anymore

Elegance Club check-in took over 90 minutes. We were asked to wait in the lounge where snacks and drinks are available. This area did not provide anything close to an Elegance experience. We ended up checking in at the Front Desk in the lobby. Day three we had to switch rooms due to flooding from room above us. Guest services seem more interested in handling less complicated matters. The concierge was more than kind though and tried very hard to help us. We received a complimentary relaxation m [... read more]assage for our inconvenience which upon check-out were asked to pay $400.00 USD. Thankfully another employee stepped in and provided us with a credit. Vacation time is precious to all of us and we should not have to be put through unnecessary stress. Management? seems non- existent. This was my third stay here and will be my last.

Amazing Resort

The resort was a 5 star resort in all categories the food the beach the pools restaurants and especially the staff! Will definitely recommend to all our friends and family and we will be back! Thank you for an amazing week

Second visit as good as the first!

Enough has been said previously about the beautiful sandy beach, gorgeous grounds and walkways, and the clean and well maintained rooms, so let’s focus on the best part of the stay at the Majestic: the staff! Starting with our extremely late arrival at 1:30 am, we were met with the pleasant, smiling night clerk, Angel, who not only quickly had us checked in and ready to go, but also ensured that we connected with our travel friends (who had arrived a day earlier) and facilitated adjoining r [... read more]ooms. Thank you Angel. My spouse has a serious fish allergy, so food products are always a concern for us when travelling. The Majestic takes food allergies as serious as we do. On the first morning of our arrival, the restaurant concierge, Joy, met with my spouse to discuss the food in the broad range of restaurants and to identify risks. This care continued throughout our 2 week stay, with Joy addressing concerns about the labelling of snacks in the club lounges, and chef Sebastian checking in with my spouse at the various restaurants we attended. What a pleasure to be able to relax, knowing that allergy concerns are taken seriously at the Majestic. Thank you Joy and Sebastian. And then there’s the restaurant and poolside staff, starting with Julian’s smiling and friendly breakfast service every morning at Flavors – especially his ‘special’ coffees! Thank you Julian. And poolside was made to feel like a second home with Andres’ happy smiles and jokes and genuine friendly demeanor. Thank you Andres! And thank you also to Andres’ poolside ‘brother’, Angel. The two are a fixture in our memories of our 2 week stay. And finally, what can we say about our butler, Gloria, other than “wow, what a great face to the Majestic Resort”! Gloria was always available to assist us with any questions or concerns with a pleasant, caring, and quick response. We can’t say enough about Gloria, but can say thank you so much Gloria, and good luck with the wedding! Can't wait for our third visit.

Amazing

Everything was perfect. Definitely a 5 star resort. I cannot think of one thing that we did not like. Beach was beautiful and clean. Grounds were updated and very clean. Food was outstanding. Pools were gorgeous. Rooms were very modern and clean. Another plus was that none of us got sick. Excellent service with wonderful staff. I highly recommend this resort!

So much fun!

Hotel is great I’m not a review writer but I’ll say that the food was amazing - the service was amazing - the drinks were the best I’ve ever had at any resort - go see Kenny at the Tiki bar he runs the bar like a speakeasy it’s super quaint he loves making great drinks! The tiki bar needs a tv so you don’t have to go inside to watch a sports game that’s my only complaint
