Wonderful Adults only Getaway with Incredible staff

Fantastic experience from start to finish. This is our second time here and will be back. If you are looking for a relaxing, adults - only escape in Cuba with beautiful beaches and exceptional service, this is the place.

❤️We just returned from a fantastic holiday in Cuba. Special thanks to the amazing team at Iberostar Coral Enchenachos Cayo Santa Maria who went beyond expectations daily to make our holiday exceptional. Bar staff. Restaurant staff. Poolside staff. Housekeeping staff. Butler staff. Management staff. Coral is a small, quiet adults only resort with dedicated professional personalized service. Special shout outs to Yunily at Playa Enchenachos Bar, Yasser at the Main Lobby Bar, Randy at the Main B [... read more]each Restaurant and every member of the tremendous team at Coral. Yosmanny, Levon, Yahimi, Yohanny, Jackie, Alberto, Hector, William, Anier, Dismar, Diana, and Yandry are some names that come to mind. There are too many exemplary staff to remember all the names! This is a lovely, peaceful resort on a gorgeous stretch of sandy beach. Our suite was massive and we really enjoyed our private hot tub on the back deck. Daily maid service and nightly turn down service with fresh beach towels was greatly appreciated. The pools, walkways and grounds are beautifully maintained. New furniture arrived for the Coral lobby and dining room. Upgrades and repairs are constantly underway. A La Carte Restaurants at Selection are under renovation. We enjoyed our menu meal service in the Coral restaurant, poolside and beachside. Our vacation ended with a wonderful send off by the entertainment team. We were sad to leave these extremely kind, generous, hardworking, and very appreciative people. We will return when flights resume to Cuba. If you like a quiet resort with personalized service, I recommend Iberostar Coral Enchenachos!

Friendly warm resort

Friendly people, dated but very comfortable villas. Loved the private hot tub with ocean view. Pool clean Recreation games fun Entertainment satisfactory Chambermaids excellent Frig filled daily with drinking water , pop & beer Excellent bar service. Bar tender makes a fantastic mojito

Always my first choice in Cuba

I'm a repeat guest at Ensenachos, and there are so many reasons I keep going back. The staff, without a doubt, are reason number one. They have had some challenges over the past couple years, as much of the country has, but they rise to the challenge every time. Rooms - The selection side rooms are always in a cycle of update and upkeep, and are comfortable at worst. The Coral side features bungalow suites with kitchen, sitting area and ensuite flush, and a full bedroom with full bath with show [... read more]er and tub. Coral also features hot tubs on the rear porches. Food - the biggest challenge the resort is facing in 2026 is getting their main buffet kitchen back in business, along with their a la carte rooms. They are making do, but they are constantly trying to get the restaurants running once more. On the Coral side, All three meals are available without going anywhere. The food is good, if not adventurous. They make the most of what is available. No shortage of seafood and meats. Wednesday night is lobster night, with entertainment. Snack bars at Playa Megano and the Selection side pool fill the gaps nicely. Service - It's very simple. If you need something that isn't immediately available, all you do is ask. If it can be done, they will make it happen. Room too cold (weird, right?)? No problem, here's the A/C remote, make it comfortable. Bus not running on time to the markets? We'll set up a driver, and we will ensure you get back safely as well. Excursions and experiences, no problem. All with a smile. Last but not least - The Beach(es). Without a doubt, Megano and Ensenachos are the best beaches in Cuba, if not in the islands writ large. Swimming, snorkeling, lounging... Beautiful sand, gentle surf, almost zero seaweed (no sargassum). Fish and other sea creatures in abundance. Thinking about going to Ensenachos?? Do it. You won't regret it.

May 2025 Stay. 2 weeks

!This was our second stray at the Coral, last was late May early June 2024 first visit since Covid. We use to stay on the, then called Spar section, which was adults only, for 25 total visits The resort is showing its age but renovations are under way on selection side, slow and steady. ' We found the Coral section accommodation excellent, comfortable and roomy. with hot tub which was clean and heated. Service was great and Butlers and all staff very considerate and helpful to us, same as [... read more] other vacationers staying at the resort - I have Parkinson’s and use a wheeled walker and walking stick. . Any problems you inform the butlers, We had a noisy ceiling fan in bedroom when we arrived, and it was repaired the next morning. The food was good and plenty full, some limited shortages but nothing you couldn’t miss. You don’t go to: Cuba for the food, it’s good though. And we gain weight on our stays. The beaches are second too none with many palapa’s, one for every room on Coral section. The Coral is very quiet and relaxing just as we like it, no children under 14. The main entertainment is on the Selection side, shuttle service via mini bus, max wait 10min. Coral vacationers have complete access to all facilities on the selection side. Overall - great resort, that we call our second home, we will be back to the Coral, health dependant, to savour the friendliness all the staff, beaches, weather .and other vacationers you meet.

Another awesome stay at the Coral Ensenachos

Our third consecutive year staying two weeks at the Coral. As expected the facilities are a little dated, but they are well maintained and very clean. The beach is spectacular and with the added shade, there is no issues with reserving beach chairs or needed to be there early. The staff are amazing, remembering your preferences and happy to say hi and ensure that you enjoying your stay. The resort is pretty quiet and there are a lot of returning guests, it’s becoming our Cubian spring home.

Amazing resort

It was paradise!! The beach is just wow!! The staff is wonderful, very friendly and helpful! The food was ok. They do their best to make your vacation wonderful. The rooms are large, spacious and very clean. The hot tub is a bonus! I would go back!

A very Nice Surprise

I want to not promote this hotel so it stays quaint and peaceful but I must be honest it exceeded my expectations. What’s makes this hotel so special are the people, they are so welcoming and friendly. The rooms and location will be a wonderful surprise. My only complaint is the food inconsistency but it’s Cuba so that’s expected. This is not a place for teenagers as there is nothing for them . It’s for older adults who want peace and quiet and a chance to meet others . A great place for singles [... read more] as I met so many people and was fine on my own as I needed a restful vacation. Paradise

This resort exceeded our expectations, from the rooms, to the beach and Food! The food was incredible! Yes, that's right, I wrote the word incredible. The staff went above and beyond, every day. The entertainment was great and kept visitors engaged. We will DEFINITELY be back.

Beautiful resort, great value for the price

We stayed at Iberostar Coral Ensenachos in a group of four in August 2024. It was our second time at Coral Level and the third time at this resort. We lived in a spacious villa with two bedrooms. It was clean and very well maintained. Customer service was excellent, all our requests were fulfilled in a fast and precise manner. The food was very delicious, and the food selection was very decent. There were two restaurants at the Coral Level part of the resort: El Colonial (for breakfast and dinne [... read more]r) and Pelicano (for lunch). There were options to eat at the family part of the resort but we chose not to as the food at Coral Level was so good. All personnel at Coral Level including administrators on call and restaurant staff were very professional, helpful, and well-mannered. The main attraction of this resort is its beautiful Ensenacho beach. Our hotel section had its beach restricted to the Coral Level stayers only which was nice because it resulted in fewer people on the beach even at prime time. We never used a pool, so I can’t comment on this. Another thing that we admired was the resort’s garden - it was just awesome! Now, what I would improve on this practically perfect resort: I would add more electric cars because there were not enough of them this year and waiting time was sometimes annoying. Also, it would be nicer if more palapas were added to the beach and the distance between palapas expanded. In all other ways, Coral Level at Ensenachos was a great value for the price and we would highly recommend this to our friends.

Beautiful beaches , wonderful staff!

Lovely resort with beautiful spacious villas, with.private hottubs. The grounds are lovely and the pool is spotless. The beach is to die for and you can go for long walks. Please be aware that this is Cuba and the food which was decent was far from exceptional The staff was amazing and always did their best to please! I will return with no hesitation!

Wonderful vacation

Great beach, awesome staff, and overall a wonderful vacation. It was our 3rd time staying at this resort and everything met our expectations. The resort is quiet, the food was well prepared, at great place to relax and enjoy the sun.

Amazing Vacation at this resort

You are always welcomed back by the staff that always recognize you. The service is awesome, exceptional. The location, although its a long drive from the airport is worth the drive. The food was also very good. When they are low in supplies, they make up for it. We have been there for 4 years and is now our preferred destination. I don't have any complaints and we are already looking forward to go again next year.

Beautiful resort

Beautiful very clean rooms, pool lobby and dining room. Staff were amazing and very friendly and helpful. Beach was lovely. Special evenings like dining in the beach and by the pool were wonderful and it’s because of the hard work of the staff. They are to be commended.

Beautiful resort

We stayed in a family unit even though we paid for a single. Apparently they didn't have single available. Beautiful unit - 2 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, living and dining rooms, kitchen, outdoor hot tub. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The grounds and beach were beautiful. There was live music during the afternoon and evening on most days and a show was presented each evening. The resort didn't seem to be anywhere near their capacity, but there were shortages - eggs, lettuce, potatoes, [... read more] mushrooms, onions etc. This is a Cuba problem and not the resort. Bring Canadian or American currency for tipping . These wonderful people have lost faith in their currency and deserve much better. D

Nice beaches

I was at this resort in February. The decline by December in quality was shocking. The food in the restaurant was inedible. Serious issues with supply of basic foods. Eggs were unavailable for 5 of 6 days. Breakfast was toast and bacon. We were supposed to have three of the specialty restaurants. We were unable to make reservations at any of the restaurants. Although we did get an 8:30 reservation at the Japanese restaurant. The food was so salty and overcooked that it was inedible. I ha [... read more]ve come to expect the food and amenities in Cuba to be of lower standards in the over 40 years that I have travelled here. The state of Cuba is heartbreaking.

Great resort

The hotel is maintained exceptionally well. Especially the grounds, the beach and the rooms. All the hotel staffers courteous and helpful at all times. Willing to do any extra service to make the stay enjoyable. The food is acceptable based on the current situation of the country
