Great stay at Serenade All Suites Adults Only Resort from 4-11 March 2026

We travelled to Serenade All Suites – Adults Only from March 4–11, 2026, booking through tripcentral with Sunwing as the provider and WestJet operating the flights. We chose premium economy, and the experience exceeded expectations — comfortable seating, great service, and very good food. D [... read more]ining was consistently enjoyable, with the steakhouse and Asian restaurant being highlights. Service throughout the resort was excellent. Staff at the coffee bar, piano bar, à la carte restaurants, and buffet were consistently warm, attentive, and welcoming. Our king bed, pool‑view suite was spacious and well‑equipped. The only design consideration is that the shower opens directly into the main room, which may not be ideal for all travel groups. Otherwise, the room met all expectations. Overall, this is a well‑run resort with great service, good food, and a beautiful beachfront. We would recommend it.

Paradise!

This was our 4th visit to the island and was, by far, our best vacation experience yet! The hotel itself was outstanding! Beautiful white sand beaches! The rooms were well appointed and clean, grounds were beautiful and well maintained, as were the pools. Staff were fantastic and ensured every need was met. We will certainly return! Highly recommend!

Amazing resort

Amazing, cleanlyness, food, entertainment, pools Yailin in entertainment is awesome. She involved everybody and she is so fun to be with. She made the entertainment. Full of energy and motivated in a positive way

Disappointed at Serenade (10 Days).

Where do I begin.....Check in we were informed the resort was sold out, however if we wanted an upgrade it would be possible for a side deal of 100$US Cash and we had to sign a waiver stating we got a free upgrade, we were told many times that if we had any issues with the room to only contact the 2 at front desk that we made the deal with.(something shady going on) Staff...Not friendly, no hello's, no conversation, if we asked for anything, it felt like we were inconveniencing them, they wer [... read more]e extremely rude and very pushy around the pool to fill out a google review about the property and staff they wanted 5 stars, I declined on several occasion's stating ill do it later. Entertainment(Pool and evenings) was not communicated properly, it was extremely difficult to know what event was going on IF any. Dominican Independence day was celebrated while we were there. If it wasn't for the loud music on the beach we would not have known about the display of coconut drinks and food being served. Drinks and food....All were hit and miss. Drinks were made differently at every bar some way too strong and some frozen cocktails not frozen at all, not all alcohol were available they would run out of JD and not get another bottle but tell you its coming. same with beer Corona only available in certain bar, or for certain people. FOOD....If you like food do not go to this resort....Every meal was a guess if it was going to be good or horrible, same restaurants different days food would be total opposite....4th floor bar, Day one Fish Taco's were amazing every other time we tried RAW Fish....Mexican for lunch NO Guac. Gourmet Restaurant....Plastic in the food, and a paper Bar code in the Potatoes.... Breakfast same everyday no changes, no themes, definitely not what I'm used to for the money we paid....And try to get any drinks for breakfast, wed be done our meal before we got coffee or Juice(NOT REAL ORANGE JUICE) looked more like powdered and tasted like it. Don't get me wrong I've been to Punta Cana many times....I love the area, however this resort was the worst I have been too, I will not go back, I also suggest they lower the star Rating on this resort to a 2. ALSO Bring your own pillows, what they supply is atrocious. Positives......Met some nice people and the weather was hot and sunny.

Relaxing Resort with calm protected beach

This is a smaller hotel, very easily laid out with very welcoming and comfortable modern surroundings. Facilities and grounds are spotless . Comfortable room & quiet at night. We were 3 gals and selected the adult all suite side with three beautiful pools…..we-especially loved the calm ocean because resort has a floating barrier wall that keeps out any ocean animals - providing a calm “tide pool”sandy bottom with shallow depth. Perfect for children and those less stable in waves. My companion  [... read more]is visually impaired so this beach was key for selecting this resort - ocean waves are risky. This resort is not on the more active Bavaro Beach and I liked that - could always get a beach chaise - much quieter beach. Resort is not luxury but a solid 4- has an older crowd. Food and buffet was good always something to enjoy but not fancy - We especially enjoyed LaPalapa - big shout out to Pebel and Manuel - who were wonderful. Very quiet night life - fine with us to relax after a day in sun and late supper. Also offered a great gym. Shuttle service to and from hotel was organized well. Amazing Resort

We had a lovely week and the quality of this resort is directly responsible for that. The seaweed at the beach was not lovely but not a deal breaker. The bathroom barn door often stuck and was difficult to get open. The coffee expresso was lovely and our balcony size was lovely.

Serenade all suites adults only

We had an amazing experience with the Serenade all suites adults only, having the flexibility to switch from the adult side to the family side in terms of activities! The room was so nice and beautiful, with the jacuzzi in the middle of the room, the restaurants and cuisine was top notch and the sanitary facilities was so clean! High quality food and staffs so welcoming! I will return again ?

The resort is very nice layout is great everything close by, rooms was very nice,alacartes where all very good service in the alacartes was very good, buffet is your typical buffet always something to eat but service in the buffet mostly at night was abit slow, and so.e of the staff just dont seem happy and I tip for almost every drink and meal even if service was not great I still tip something, but the server around the quite pool Marta she was amazing attentive kind laughing, but was rare to  [... read more]see most staff happy, but I would definitely go back.

Okay stay at Serenade All Suites Adults Only

Serenade all suites Arrival and check in were speedy. No welcome drink offered. Room would not be ready until 3pm. Not an issue we went for a bite to eat a walk around and drinks in the lobby bar. First assigned room was an adjoining suite however the adjoining doors did not lock. Went back to reception and they gave us a different room. Its location was not as nice as the first but still pool facing but it’s adjoining door locked. However the balcony doors did not. Will lived with  [... read more]it. Husband was not happy with the second room as he would have had them try to fix the door but we didn’t want to waste anymore vacation time. Had to go back to reception once again as they did not provide us with towel cards. I read all the reviews before coming saw the great YouTube video but was a bit concerned about some of the guest comments on this fan page as well as trip advisor and I wanted to judge this place once here. On the surface the resort is beautiful, however for only being three years old it facing some severe wear and tear . You notice it with the locks and the doors. Ice machines not working. In room fridge is just a storage box nothing is cool ( yes the fridge is running I checked that). Room AC is very good. Pools are very nice and the chairs are comfortable. Pool wait staff come around often. Volleyball is going on and off in the main pool from mid morning to late afternoon. Pool activities (stretching, water aerobics start early to mid morning) and entertainment team start mid afternoon). Don’t rely on the set time schedules as it’s very flexible. Housekeeping has been consistent throughout the stay. Public washrooms are very very clean. Resorts other areas let’s just say they are superficial clean. Entertainment hit and miss. Karaoke on Saturday night late starting but was entertaining. Live music was to happen on Sunday night at 8:30, left the lounge area at 9:15 pm and no one had showed up yet. Walked over to the family resort to take in the circus show at 9:30 pm but it was very hot in the theatre even with the giant overhead fans going we left . Solo violinist was performing in the lounge. Took in the Micheal Jackson show on Tuesday it was cooler in the theatre, show was okay. Wednesday is Dominican night with a buffet spread at la Palaypa. Dominican food and music. It was a change of pace. We had reservations on Tuesday at the Italian (la palaypa). They had no ravioli, I ordered the risotto did not enjoy it. Hubby had the pasta carbonara he said it was ok. Cancelled Thursday nights reservation there and booked the steak house. We both find the food not bad, just underwhelming and sometimes undercooked (burgers,steak). Other times it’s overcooked lol. We did enjoy our stay, as the weather was fantastic, the hotel is not a five star as advertised, it is a solid 4.

Serenade All Suites - Great Hotel in Punta Cana

This was our third visit to the Serenade All Suites Resort. It is a great resort in every aspect. The beach, food, drinks, hotel room, the entire complex and the staff are excellent. We would totally return and recommend this resort to any one considering a trip to Punta Cana.

Awesome resort

Great resort, with friendly staff. We really enjoyed the great a la carte restaurants. The beach and pools were really nice. The rooms were clean with a comfy bed! Would highly recommend this resort.

Absolute Nightmare

We were genuinely shocked by the poor quality of this resort, especially considering its high ratings. While the weather and beaches were beautiful — truly the only redeeming part of our stay — the overall experience was frustrating, disappointing, and far below the standard expected from a supposedly top-tier destination. From the moment we arrived, the issues began. We didn’t get to our room until 12:30am, only to find we were given the wrong bed type, the AC wasn’t on, and the room was in  [... read more]unacceptable condition — dirty sheets, a wet bed, and a bathroom door that wouldn’t even close. Water from the shower leaked all the way out to the main door. We spent the next several days dealing with service failures. Staff were largely unhelpful and dismissive, and maintenance requests took hours or were outright ignored. We had to fight for a room change, which only came after showing “proof” of our complaints and involving multiple staff members. Housekeeping repeatedly failed to clean properly — towels were left on the floor, and surfaces were not cleaned. Room service was consistently terrible — food always arrived cold and tasteless. Despite informing them of pork and ham allergies, we were served dishes containing pork multiple times. Breakfast meats were mislabeled (ham labeled as turkey), and at one point we were served a pork dish after specifically ordering salmon. If someone had a life-threatening allergy, the consequences could have been severe. We were eventually offered a room upgrade and a beachside dinner to make up for the issues — but only in exchange for signing a form agreeing not to post negative feedback or take further action. When we asked about it, we were told we could still leave an “honest” review as long as we acknowledged the resort’s attempts to make things right. Seeing a stack of these forms at the front desk told us this wasn’t an isolated incident. The “romantic” dinner itself was another letdown. Due to high winds, everyone was moved to the terrace — where we sat near loud groups, including children. The food was once again terrible, and my wife even found a hair in her dish. The only mild positive was that the service that evening was better than usual. Across the rest of the resort, service was wildly inconsistent. Staff at many restaurants barely acknowledged us. Drinks like orange juice and soda tasted different every day — either flat, diluted, or just off. Meals ranged from cold and inedible (like the lamb at Gourmet) to undercooked and unsafe (a rare burger after requesting well done). To top it all off, housekeeping never showed up when we requested service, even after multiple hours. In conclusion, the food was a 4/10 at best, and the service was worse. A serious language barrier combined with a lack of care or attention from staff made this stay feel more like a chore than a vacation. If you’re someone who values good food, service, and attention to detail, this is not the place for you. The weather was perfect, and the beaches were beautiful — but that’s not nearly enough to make up for everything else. We won’t be returning, and we strongly caution others to look elsewhere.

Nice resort

We recently spent a week at this resort and had a relaxing time. The resort was very clean and not overly crowded. It is not a “party” type of place. We enjoyed the entertainment crew, lovely people who were always available to make our stay more enjoyable. We would have liked a bit more evening entertainment… this was limited and not overly exciting. If you are looking for drink service by the pool or on the beach, this was hit and miss… we just went to bar ourselves to get drinks. Not a great swimming experience. The staff were not overly friendly and I felt like I was bothering them at times. We will not be returning to DR….. there are much better places to visit .

Perfect vacation resort

We really enjoyed our stay at Serenade All Suites Adults Only. It had something for everyone. The grounds were immaculate they were constantly cleaning, each morning the pool areas were washed the lounge chairs were cleaned. The food was ok, there was always something to eat. The room, we had pool view, was very clean, and every room had a view of the ocean which is a bonus since most resorts charge and up fee to have ocean view. There are 3 pools which we found to be great there are 2 quiet  [... read more]pools and a party pool. If you wanted complete silence you could have that with the pool far from the party pool. There was fast and friendly poolside bar service The beach was cleaned all through the day so seaweed wasn’t an issue. Some guests complained about the ocean being shallow but we actually liked that you could walk for quite a distance and not be pushed over by waves. The evenings were relaxing with indoor and outdoor areas to enjoy. The entertainment was enjoyable and overly loud Overall we would definitely recommend this resort, and are considering going back since it checks all of our boxes.

Beautiful resort but

Everything was beautiful the layout the style the bars and pools. The restaurant booking system was a disaster and eating at 8:30 at night was not pleasant. After 2 days in the resort people begin to get sick and everything went down hill from there. Cold food and poorly cooked items. Poor handing of food with cross contamination it’s shame because the place is new and really a 5 star hotel with 1or 2 star salty food.

Just What The Doctor Ordered

Would highly recommend the Adults Only Side. From food to service to accommodations, it was all great. You could beach or enjoy your choice of three pools, each with its own degree of activity. Would definitely return.

Not great!

I visited Serenade Punta Cana with my boyfriend and my sister and her boyfriend - a couples trip. I've been to the Dominican 3 times prior and never had a bad experience however this trip was the worst. Because of our airline cancelling our original flight we arrived around 4am, politely asked if there were any food options open as we had been travelling all day and reception laughed and said we had to wait until 7am everything was closed. The entertainment was lacking, nothing really to do and there was hardly anything going on. The resort was dead by 10pm most nights. One night they had karaoke and half way through just stopped for no reason, it was very strange. The rooms are very nice as well as the resort itself, the asthetics were the best part. However, upon entering the room we noticed our pillowcases were dirty and the towels (I found hair on the face towels). Accessibility to food was terrible. Room service was limited, everything was closed at lunch there was 1 caribbean restaurant and 1 buffet serving lunch. The caribbean restaurant was basic, not great and portions extremely small. Dinner you have to book through an app we tried to go to guest services they did not want to help just referred us to the app and when we tried most of the time it would tell us unavailable. Beach was very nice, pools were very clean. We booked a swim up facing the garden and could not enjoy 1. No privacy, there was constant traffic of people walking and 2. Too much noise, these birds were constantly squwaking day and night so needless to say we did not make use of the swim up. Snacks in the room were stale. Now the people.... Like I said I've visited before and never had any issues I've worked in the travel industry for over 10 yrs and have been everywhere - I have to say I was extremely disappointed in the attitude of a lot of the staff. There were a select few that were very friendly (the younger guys working at the buffets). Otherwise, we had eyes rolling at us, we were laughed at for ordering mocktails that were on their menu, we were ignored at times waiting long periods of time to be acknowledged for even just a drink I did not feel welcomed like I have in other countries they made us feel like we were a bother, very rude and not how you expect to be treated when spending a lot of money and being away from your family during the holidays. Christmas eve was the worst. They had only 1 option for dinner it was $450 USD per person and if you did not purchase this dinner there were no options to eat because all of the other restaurants were closed. So we went to the family side. They wouldn't let us in anywhere! And most of the time these restaurants had many empty tables so I'm not sure why they were so difficult with the seating. At the family buffet we asked some of the staff where we could eat without a reservation and they said no where. So as I was speaking to this man another man walks up, the manager his name was Lionel. He goes to seat us and asked how many we said 4 because my sister and her boyfriend were joining us and when we told him he rolled his eyes and got frustrated and proceeded to swear at my boyfriend in spanish (we speak some spanish so we understood). Then the staff ignored us I can say it ruined our Christmas for sure! We also spoke to several other people during our stay who were also not very impressed. Overall we did not enjoy our time here and will not be returning, we could've spent our money anywhere else in the caribbean. Very disappointing! If you do decided to stay in Punta Cana there are much better resorts especially for adults. This was not it.

10 pleasant days at a nice resort July 13 -23 - travelled as a couple

Genuinely friendly staff throughout this new resort which is located approx 30 minutes from the airport . Weather was hot and steamy with maybe 10 minutes of rain for our entire stay . Rooms were comfortable with plenty of storage space and ac worked fine .No towel game here , plenty of palapas and padded loungers on the beach and poolside with towels always available and an attentive wait staff who ensured we remained properly hydrated through the day. Entertainment on the adult side was sporadic and you were obliged to move to the family side for regular shows. Would I return - yes , any hotel where a bottle of rum in the gift shop is cheaper than the sunscreen is ok by me. Not related to the hotel stay but curiously no one in arrivals or departures from the DR showed the slightest interest in the scannable qr label which we were asked to provide when entering or leaving the country

Nice Resort

Just spent 2 weeks at this resort. We liked it and would go back again. It's quiet with not much night life so if you're looking to party this place is not for you. I will say the pools are the cleanest I've ever seen. Grounds are nice and well kept. Rooms are nice and air works well. If you have mobility issues it's perfect since everything is close together. Food is okay, hit and miss with some but you'll still find enough to eat. Hair dryers in Rooms are not very powerful so bring your  [... read more]own. Pillows are crap and could use changing. They are odd sizes and not your typical pillow. Staff were friendly and accommodating however some servers couldn't speak any English. Plenty of chairs available and spread out nicely. If you're looking for a small, quiet, clean resort you'll enjoy it.

Great time

The entire facility was great. It was pristine no matter where you went. The smiling faces great you at every turn. All three pools were kept clean. The restaurants were amazing,food was plentiful and delicious.
