Catalonia Royal Tulum: Great people great stay

The atmosphere is beautiful. I love how accommodating and friendly the people at the hotel. The food good but not too great! The pool is clean, the beach is great! Overall, 9/10 ??? will definitely come back!

Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres: Good

Can make additional improvement in buffet meals.Beautifull areas to take pictures.Best service for serving meals.Beach sands can be maintain some more to comfortable walk.Room service is very good.For currency exchange,need inside facility,since the resort little far from downtown.Overall,the resort is good for vacation.First day welcome and showing the room and how to access not satisfied.Receiption staff not properly organised.Cut off time to pickup and drop need to change.

Catalonia Riviera Maya: Beautiful but a few inconveniences

The resort over all was beautiful but unfortunately there were a few downfalls. I book for my family of 6 (3 being children under 9) to stay in the privileged room, we were suppose to get 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. When we got to the hotel they said they did not have any privileged rooms available with 2 queen beds for the entire week. We were than asked if we wanted to go to their sister resort in cancun which we declined because we had other family members with in another room. Due to the in [... read more]convenience, they said they would bring us an extra mattress and also an extra cushion for the sofa bed in our room, but was not given any of these. Also we wanted to book hibachi but again they said they were not able to accommodate 6 people for the entire week we were there.

Catalonia Riviera Maya: Amazing resort

I will start my review from the welcome and the receptionist in the restore was excellent The room very clean and comfortable also the room service excellent The pools was great and clean and the beach was good and we appreciate the workers how they clean it. But the pool hours open they closed very soon should be close a little bit late. At least keep one pool be close late. The restaurant are amazing specially the privilege restaurant but the 2 buffet decent. Also missing tennis table The support room was excellent The spa was a mazing but my our son very close to 16 years jut by one month for the spa and the gym age rule should be more flexible specially with the parents Another things bothering us the exclusive team very pushy and they call us few times in early morning few time I told them we're not interested but still they tried to explain to us !! But over all staff in resort are friendly and respectful you're a mazing resort

Catalonia Royal Bavaro: Family vacation

We have been to this resort last summer and this summer . We love this resort . Rooms can be updated and need to give all towels in size . Food is good steak out on adults only other one sucks with Italian sucks. Beach not go but we went to 2 beach’s off resort. They just need to take all the towels off the lawn chairs at night because people don’t know . Bar in pool should stay open until pool closes. Fridge should alway be filled with what is missing . Entertainment at night was good always something. The beach party was wild . Casino needs an update and more machines. Need to update the people that work there. Someone was unfriendly. Do the boggie Excursions do the one with the beach same price longer and much better.

Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres: Almost perfect resort.

We travelled as a family group of 11 from 3 provinces in Canada and had a great time. The food was good and the beach was kept pretty clear of sargassum. I use a mobility walker and found it easy to get everywhere including the beach. There were a few areas that left room for improvement. It would be better if there was more than one spot to get beach towels and also they need more towels because they seemed to run out frequently. An app to book a la cartes would have been a better way to  [... read more]go. The system they have made it difficult to get bookings. And lastly, we didn't like that there weren't doors between the living area, bedroom and bathroom. There was no privacy to get changed after showering. Ok if you are travelling as a couple but not ideal if you are travelling with children or friends.

Hi Steve, Thank you for arranging such a wonderful vacation for me and my little family! We had a great time at Catalonia Mexico and truly appreciate all of your help in making the trip happen. As we discussed over the phone yesterday, while our overall stay was enjoyable, we did encounter a few issues that impacted our experience. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room that was in very poor condition and not what we were expecting. Since we were staying for an entire week, we decided it [... read more] was worth upgrading to a more comfortable room, which cost us approximately $535 CAD—money we had originally set aside for an excursion. For your reference, the original room had several maintenance issues, including: * A toilet that made a loud squeaking noise. * Rusty bathroom faucets. * A broken in-room safe. * Overall, the room appeared quite worn and poorly maintained. Additionally, we found the buffet options to be quite average. The menu was repetitive throughout the week, and many of the main dishes consisted of pork, which our family does not eat. As a result, we ended up spending approximately USD $70–100 per day on meals outside the resort. I wanted to share this feedback with you, as I know you value your clients’ experiences. If possible, I would appreciate it if you could forward my comments to the appropriate team at the resort or your supplier so they are aware of the issues we encountered. Catalonia Royal La Romana: All we love

Once again we had great 9 days at this beautiful place ! The ocean , food , hotel layout , rooms , drinks , all great ! Trip was smooth from begging to the end ! I’d just give low rating on the service at lobby bar and beach bar . There is no service , if you want drinks you need to get it yourself ! We also had very unpleasant excursion to Saona Island , organized by hotel staff Francisco . That was more like nightmare than pleasant day trip .

Catalonia Royal Tulum: Loved it as a 1st time

Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres: Very pleased with our stay

Our second visit to the Catalonia was even better than our first. The food is great, the room was large and beutiful with a gteat view and the staff were amazing. We ate at the taco stand every lunch. Had avocado toast for breakfast every morning.

Catalonia Playa Maroma: Very good value

Family and couple friendly. Beach had a lot of seaweed but that was an issue across mexico this season. great food and hospitality. snorkelling from the boat launch at beach was good, not great, but very convenient. Would recommend.

Catalonia Yucatan: First All-Inclusive Trip

We were greeted with the nicest staff at Yucatan hotel. We arrived early before check-in time but they allowed us to eat and use all that was available in the resort which was really nice. The food was great and many options. Rooms get cleaned every day which is a plus. The pools were perfect, but the beach.. the sargassum was worse this time around. They have activities for both kids and adults which kept us entertained. Overall, we would love to come back. Catalonia Playa Maroma: Lovely resort

The hotel grounds were very lush and well kept. We liked the shady paths from the lobby to the rooms. The buffet was really well organized with lots of choice and the staff from the hostesses taking us to our table to those serving snd cleaning up were all very friendly. We liked our room 6202, it was spacious and having a ceiling fan as well as ac was great. We always had lots of hot water. Our room looked over the courtyard and our balcony had privacy. The sea was rough for a couple of days and later in the week there was a lot of seaweed but that is not within the resort’s control. They did make every effort to clear the beach. We were disappointed with the steak in Starkville as we’d seen so many rave reviews but it wasn’t good the night we were there! The bar at the beach makes the best drinks and speciality coffees and we enjoyed the creperie.

Resort was exactly what we had wanted beautiful resort great food well kept property rooms were clean and spacious the only downside was the sea weed but of no fault of the resort and the staff worked really hard every day to clean it up . Would def recommend this resort and we will be returning !

The entire resort was clean, the staff were friendly and more than happy to take care of our needs! The food was excellent and the beach beautiful! We met some wonderful people while there on vacation. We are planning on going back very soon.

Catalonia Yucatan: Mexico Trip

The hotel food was extremely good, the rooms were extremely good as well. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was extremely good as they even washed down the sunbathing chairs nightly. The beach was small and very rocky with a lot of seaweed. It was close to the airport and a very safe place to walk around outside the hotel.

The hotel was very nice, clean and well kept...staff were wonderful and food was good...we flew air canada and our package said we had a mini bar which we did not, and we were supposed to have a hair dryer and we did not...first resort i have ever been too with no hairdryer...i wasnt a fan of the beach. The sargassum was bad but that was the time of year...without the sargassum the beach still wasnt great. Catalonia Yucatan: Nice Small Resort

Small well kept resort. Staff very nice, Grounds properly kept. Beach is very small and rocky. Food at the buffet was good, pools were nice and clean. Bars served good drinks. Beach volleyball every day. Rooms are a little dated, beds comfortable. You spend most of your days outside, only in your room at night, they were clean and no insects in the rooms. We would go again.

The resort is small (compared to other Catalonia Resorts) but beautiful and everything is so close to the beach and pools. Rooms are dated but clean and maid service was great. Food was good however it would have been nice to have more options to ala Cartes, as buffet eating does get tiring. However, no complaints on food or drinks. Entertainment team is amazing.
