Beautiful resort

We had the best time. The resort was beautiful. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff were absoultely amazing. The food was amazing the italian ala carte was so good we went 3 times the servers were amazing especially Yady she is so delightful.The buffet was good no complaints the server at the smoothie station made my morning.And there is Carlos he went above and beyond he is the best. And I can't forget all the staff at coffee bar they made my morning I was always greet [... read more]ed by a smile. We can't wait to return we will definitely be back.

Amazing Resort

This resort was amazing. Everyone was so friendly, the rooms were kept clean. Not a very far walk to get to the beach, pool, or meals. Everything was so beautiful. The entertainers were awesome. They knew how to make you feel welcomed. I would definitely recommend Vila Gale to my friends, and I'm hoping one day to be back there again. There was no shortage of anything. I'm just disappointed my stay got cut short due to the fuel shortage.

Good resort

The people were amazing, the buffet was great, the rooms are spacious not enough hangers and no cola or beer in fridge. Our maid was awesome. The lobby chairs not comfortable, I have bad back and difficult to sit in them for very long. The beach and pool were great! I will definitely be coming back!

Amazing Resort

This resort is amazing! The buffet is great! The rooms are spacious but not enough hangers got only 3 hangers for 2 people for 2 weeks! The people were amazing. The beach and pool were also great! The only thing was the lobby chairs are not very comfortable especially for elder people or anyone with back issues. We will definitely be coming back!

Cuba Jan 16-23 2026

Great trip to take off from Canada, the only issues we had was that our shoes and one of my hand made cigar cutters was stolen from the air port. Our door broke for our hotel, but other than that it was a good trip, we always book with trip central and I recommend it, the political situation of Cuba affected food but that is out of everyones hands and understanding. Thank you for giving us a chance to leave the country

Amazing resort

Beautiful hotel. Great crew. The food is probably the best in Cuba considering the conditions they have. This will now be my favorite vacation spot in Cuba. The distance from the airport to the hotel is 25 km. There is only one thing that the buses that take people from the airport to the hotel just stink. I understand that there are no funds for cleaning products, but this stench is unbearable. Great resort

The hotel was superb. The location was ideal (not too far from the airport). The hotel grounds were well kept. The three pools were clean and well maintained. The rooms were nice and well laid out. The staff at the hotel were very friendly.

Very pure customer service

Nice hotel, very very clean everywhere ground and room.Food is ok, nothing special but very tasty. Biggest concern about customer service. I read many reviews about Dennis What she amazing bur she do nothing just walking around or sitting in beach bar and drinking beer. I saw it myself. We requested sofabed and waited 18 hours. Amazing hotel with great staff!

I have been told Cuba for 14 times and have made a point to always try a different hotel. After having visited Vila Gale Paredon in 2024, I was so impressed with its beauty, cleanliness, and beaches that I booked again for 2025. There are 3 pools, 1 kiddie pool and an infinity pool that takes your breath away. Great way to end the day! The food is abundant and very tasty. The buffet has 9 hot trays at any given time with beef, chicken, pork, rice, fish, pasta, mussels, hot dogs, soup etc.. No one will starve! You also have the juice bar, pasta bar, grill, pancakes and eggs freshly prepared. Snack bar is open 24/7, at lunch time they make bbq at the beach with choice of fish, pork or chicken with rice, chips and cucumbers on the side. You can also have pizza made to your liking at one of the snack bars, it's to die for. The beaches are crystal clear. You can take a long walk passing the 3 hotels and continue walking as if you are on a stranded island. So peaceful almost like heaven on earth. It's just you and the birds gliding over the sea. Every morning the beach staff clear the sea grass that was brought in by the tide so the beach is nice and clean. Plenty of palapas, so no need to wake up at 6 am to reserve your seat. The entertainment is one area where it needs improvement but it is available from volleyball, pool activities, beach exercises etc. But it's all in the execution where I find it is weak. Plenty of bars all over the place. One thing for sure is not to forget to bring insect repellent with alot of deet. Because there are only 3 hotels on this island, there is a lot of vegetation so mosquitoes are plenty. There is a plane that sprays weekly and the staff spray daily but still you need the Off! This hotel is a definite place to try.

Great new resort

If you want to relax and just enjoy the beach with good value, this is a good option. It's Cuba, food is limited and sometimes runs out but from what I ate they were pretty good. The service is good, they try their best. The rooms are nice, the resort is quite new. Overall great beach. The water is so calm and so easy to spot fish. Bring floaties! I went first week of September and the weather was perfect. However bug spray is a must. So many mosquitos!

Amazing hotel

Rooms are very nice and clean,food was delicious, excellent service,very friendly staff .Lobby,coffee area buffet,Mediterranean restaurant,snack bar everything is modern and very nice interior,pools are great for kids and breathtaking beach.

Amazing hotel with great staff!

This was my second visit to this hotel in 2 years and there is are plenty of reasons for it. The grounds are well kept and vast. The beach is beautiful and kept clean daily and there are plenty of palaps. The rooms are spacious and modern with free Wi-Fi. Most rooms have a view of the pools as well as the ocean. There a 3 pools including a scenic infinity pool that is out of this world. Staff is always ready to help you in any which way. The only area of improvement would be that of Entertainment and activities. Yes, they do try to offer beach volleyball, beach activities but they need to stimulate the tourists in a different way for them to participate. Also, nightly shows are weak. They have no outdoor theater like other resorts but they do try to offer some form of show. Be aware that there are only 3 hotels on Cayo Paredon for the time being and because of this there is a lot of vegetation hence mosquitoes, so you do need bug spray with alot of deet. I have been to Cuba for 14 times and this is the only resort that I have returned twice. It will not be my last.

Excellent Resort for families, groups and couples

Hotel is on isolated island where there is no villages or any sources of noise pollution. Local population does not vacation at this hotel except in very small numbers. After 2 years hotel still feels new and fresh. Air conditioning is impeccable and so are the bed and the shower. Internet works all right at the reception but off and on in rooms. The beach is spectacular.All employees are wonderful!!! Since food is important to my group, we were very grateful to cook Roland and his wonderful team grilling meat and fish on one side and preparing pasta on the other. Selection of deserts and fruits are limited but very nice and offered in abandoned. Mango and papaya in August tasted so well. We ate real eggs, had real milk and coffee and wine and beer . We had everything. Nautical Club is running perfectly. Entertainment team had aqua fitness in the ocean and some dancing and games on the beach. Activities are normally moved to the pool area in the afternoon. We all had very nice vacation.

Awesome Experience

This resort is definitely not a 4 star hotel! It is a 5⭐️This is my 4th trip to Cuba and this is the resort I will go to from now on! The food was amazing.. the resort was huge and there weren’t many people at this time. Although it is true that they are missing supply’s on a daily basis. Beautiful Hotel But Far from a 5-Star Experience

First off, I want to say that we travel to Cuba often—usually in a group of six or seven—so we’re well aware that things won’t be perfect, and we come with realistic expectations. That said, there are still certain standards you'd expect from a hotel that’s marketed as a 5-star, especially one under the Paradon chain, and unfortunately, this stay was a little disappointing. The property itself is beautiful—everything (lobby, beach, pools, restaurants) is close together, which makes it ideal for [... read more] people who may not be able to walk long distances. For that, I give full credit. The setting is relaxing, and the layout is great. However, the service and overall experience fall short of 5-star quality. For Cuba standards, I’d give only the hotel a 5, but service and lock of drinks and food more like 3.5. Food & Drink: • The buffet ran out of food quickly and often wasn’t restocked unless we complained. That shouldn’t be happening. • Wine was only available at the buffet or à la carte restaurants—nowhere else across the hotel. • The sangria was pre-made and tasted flat; it wasn’t freshly mixed like you'd expect. Lobster Dinner Disaster: We paid $150 USD for three lobster dinners, and unfortunately, they were completely inedible. The lobsters were severely overcooked—rubbery and dry—and came with just one small bowl of garlic butter to share. When we asked for more, we were told they had none left. After complaining, they brought us a substitute that looked like salad dressing, and later, butter mixed with onions—but still no garlic. We ended up wasting the lobster because it was too dry and tough to eat without proper butter. When we raised the issue with customer relations, they refused to offer a refund, not even for a single lobster, and wouldn’t repeat the meal either. Instead, they tried to make up for it by sending a bottle of wine to our room (which is supposed to be complimentary anyway) and inviting us to a "special dinner" by the pool and beach. To be fair, this dinner was a lovely experience and seemed like something they usually offer returning guests—but it didn’t make up for the lobster dinner disaster or the lack of accountability. Staff & Service: Some staff were friendly and helpful—but the bartenders, especially at the pool bar, were quite dismissive. It felt like we were bothering them just by ordering a drink. That’s not what you expect from a 5-star experience. Final Straw – Late Checkout: A couple of days before leaving, we asked to keep one room for a late checkout since our flight was in the evening. We were told the hotel was fully booked and it wasn’t possible—this despite the hotel being maybe 25% occupied all week. Later, we found out it was likely in retaliation for our earlier complaints, which made the whole situation worse. Instead of trying to turn things around for us as guests, it felt like they doubled down on being unhelpful. Final Thoughts: This hotel looks the part of a 5-star resort, but the service, food quality, and staff attitude don’t match. If Vila Gale Cayo Paredon wants to market itself as a high-end chain, management needs to take guest feedback seriously and train their staff accordingly. Sadly, I don’t think we will return to this hotel, nor would I recommend it as a luxury experience.

The best resort in Cuba

Nothing to complain about. Food: excellent, room excellent, service : excellent would recommend 100%. Granted the resort was at about 20% capacity. Buffet was never busy and a la carte's had good food as well as good service

Summer Vacation

Rooms, Pool, Beach and facilities were excellent. Super clean, well kept, and the staff was friendly and attentive. On the downside, there were tons of mosquitoes and the hotel is super stingy with towels. Food was ok, but it’s Cuba so we didn’t expect much.

Great Resort

We had a great 7 days at the resort. Hotel was spotless, rooms very comfortable quite large well kept and clean. There was plenty of items to choose for breakfast lunch & dinner. My only complaint was food could have been kept warmer, and service at the lobby bar could be improved. Pools & beach were great. I definitely would recommend this hotel for your next visit to Cuba. Oh and it was 29C and breezy everyday!.

Great resort not only for Cuba.

New resort. No complaints. All equipments working. Beach and pool super. Very close to airport - bus 30 min. For Cuba food good. Good choice drinks from fresh fruits. Performances good - inside in lobby. Big plus this resort - coffee bar. Menu coffee - super.

Great resort

This was our very first time in Cuba and I’m so glad I picked this resort. Had a great experience. The beach is beautiful. Pools are nice and clean. Hotel is clean. Rooms are clean. Most of the staff is friendly. food was great for Cuba . Never ran out of anything. Had eggs every single day! Will definitely go back to this resort!
