Breezes Bahamas: Disgusting Hotel

Breezes hotel is disgusting! The rooms are dusty, full of mole and have a fouly smell! The hotel is very old and need a full upgrade. My family got sick the one night we stayed there! Our rooms were so disgusting we had to sit in the lobby all night until morning do we could move to another hotel! The lights in the wash rooms didn't work and the wash rooms are dirty and disgusting! I am still devastated from the experience! Can't believe the government allow them to be operating! Breezes Bahamas: Great beach!

Great value. Fantastic beach. Gracious staff. Great service. A very relaxing place - didn't engage with any off-site activities. I would recommend this destination for anyone that is looking for some rest and relaxation . One I the best beaches I've ever visited.

Breezes Bahamas: Excellent Location

Clean grounds well maintained property. Close to all attractions. Safe environment. Cons - lack of balcony-so tiny literally cannot stand on it just a grill in front of sliding doors, cardio equipment in gym not functional, and could use more nightlife activities since not much going on locally. Also very poor check-in experience we had a delayed flight and waited in the lobby for 2 hours to be checked in without so much as a drink offered to us while we waited. Breezes Bahamas: Solid stay in a beautiful place!

My sister and I had a great experience at Breezes - the rooms were clean, the service was decent, and the beach and pool are phenomenal! The food and drinks were good and easily accessible - what more can you ask for?!

Hotel Bella Costa: Great Beach-Spring 2017

The main building and rooms need major work. The public bathrooms on most days did not have toilet paper, which left you using paper towel if there was some or having to make a run for your room. The weather, beach, outdoor dining areas and staff where great. Location of resort was fantastic. Would only return if they did renovations.

Breezes Bahamas: Resort was great.

The staff was very nice, the food was fantastic. I highly recommend the private dinner on the beach it was a definite a highlight. Our Butler Dawson made it very memorable. Beach was gorgeous. Don't let the Spring Nreak kids scare you they were fine the hotel kept them on the other side of the resort

Hotel Bella Costa: excellent place to stay

it's a very beautiful place surrounded by sandy beaches. The food is good and available any time. The staff is friendly and helpful. Almost everyone speaks English. Golf course, main roads, bus stops are conveniently located. We would recommend this hotel to all our friends.

Hotel Bella Costa: Great time!

This hotel is great for families and singles alike. There is a fun atmosphere due to the wonderful staff. The hotel is in need of some repair, in particular the outdoor stage should be fixed so that people can enjoy the beautiful nights while watching the nightly show. We found the food to be quite good, especially breakfast and lunch. The BBQ at lunch is fantastic! Dinner can be hit and miss. Hotel Bella Costa: Good service, but very tired resort

We stayed at the Bella Costa resort for 4 nights, having bought an affordable last minute deal. The hotel was very busy, so it was well staffed and service was good. Finding a seat at the buffet, though, was not always easy. Food and drinks were pretty standard, there wasn't too much variety. It was fine for 4 days, but you may get pretty tired of the menu if staying for a week. The hotel itself is very old, they do their best to maintain it, but it still shows. This is our fourth time in Cuba, so for the price we paid we knew exactly what we were getting, and were willing to look past it all for a couple of days on the beach. If you are looking for a resort with comfortable and beautiful accommodations, delicious food and crisp towels, I would not recommend this place.

Hotel Bella Costa: Great family resort

This was our fourth stay at the Bella Costa. The staff are very friendly. I found the food quite good and options have improved since our last visit with the addition of an outdoor 'cafeteria' and an outdoor barbecue. Facilities are clean but starting to show some wear, e.g. the outdoor stage is so badly warped that all shows are now inside the building at the disco. This was a fantastic room for our group (my husband and two children and our inlaws). Beach is beautiful. Pool is also nice. Lots of daily activities at the resort hosted by the 'animacion' team. Great value for your money!

Hotel Bella Costa: Ok resort

When I enter the resort I was disappointed because we booked with travel agent and she said it was great, we were more disappointed when we enter our room on second floor. Our friends were on first floor and wanted to go to another resort but they put them on the second floor. This resort is old and the rooms should have make over. I had problem with bird poop on all chairs in dining room so I did mention it the last day we were there so hopefully they clean the chairs,,,there's no need of bird poop on chairs when half the time the waiters and waitresses are standing around talking but that's Cuba. I don't think I would go back unless I stayed in the villas with were nicer then the hotel.

Hotel Bella Costa: Always great

This was our seventh year going to this resort and as always it was great. The front counter staff is very helpful , the rooms are cleaned every day. You can always find something to eat and the beach is just fabulous. Live entertainment every night there is always something to do on or off the resort. I can hardly wait to go back next year. Most of the dinning staff remember you from the previous year,it's like haveing a second family.

Hotel Bella Costa: Perfect resort

This is a non - smoking resort which I never read in any of the reviews. Wonderful surprise to us as we both are x smokers. You can smoke in the outside lobby, your balconies and anywhere outside. The grounds, rooms and the entire hotel are very clean. The staff and all the workers do a awesome job in every capacity. The reviews from tourists have good and bad opinions. Don't pay attention to the bad ones, not worth wasting your time reading and looking at photos of rusty pipes. The food at Bella Costa was the best I have eaten in my 10 times in Cuba. This resort is smaller than some so if you have issues with walking stay here!! We had a villa right beside the pool and yes the liner in the pool is not great. Looks like it was not laid properly and presented no issues swimming. It's not deep enough for adults but it's very refreshing. There is a real nice gift shop downstairs and is a good size. They take credit cards and you are charged in American currency. You will be shocked at the exchange rate as we were. $1.67 Ca for 1 Cuban peso. Our dollar is worth .33 cents. I stayed at Bella Costa 20 years ago and they have added many upgrades. We loved it and will go back sooner than later.

Hotel Bella Costa: Great family vacation!!

Everyone and everything was on point .... the only suggestions we have would to have the nightly shows a little earlier and more selection of food in the buffet. The villa room we stayed in was amazing and the perfect location to everything !

Rooms on the Beach Negril: Wonderful location!

The resort was good. The rooms and grounds were clean. The beach is simply beautiful. You will not regret attending this location. There are plenty of restaurants for lunch and dinner walking distance from Rooms. As with all vacations, there were a few issues which were quickly resolved. The staff were wonderful. We walked to town on a few days (approx 25 minutes one way on the beach). Plenty of establishments have entertainment (karaoke, live bands, jam sessions). Breezes Bahamas: Good value and basic resort in a great location

This is a compact resort on Cable beach. It provides all the expected amenities and the food and drinks are excellent. The staff are very attentive and pleasant. The rooms are clean and well appointed, but lack a fridge unless you are willing to pay extra. Check in was painless and no extra charges were levied. The wifi was a little temperamental at times.

Breezes Bahamas: Amazing Resort

Very beautiful view of the ocean. Great entertainment, easy to get around and friendly service. Enjoyed talking to the staff and learning about the resort. Would like to go back to Breezes as you get a little bit of both beach and pool.

Breezes Bahamas: Amazing Resort and The Staff Were Great!

We stayed at the Breezes for one week , all inclusive. Located in Nassau, Bahamas. The staff were prompt to any request and made you feel special. Located along the ocean. Lots of entertainment, eatery options, close to downtown Nassau. Great bus service to down town. A jitney bus costs $1.25 each. Would definitely go back again and highly recommend the place. I

Breezes Bahamas: Really fun resort!

Our 4 night stay at the Breezes was so much fun. The staff and the guests were so friendly and inviting. The evening activities were always fun. The food was tasty and fresh and the al a carte dinners were delicious with wonderful service! The beach was beautiful. The room was clean and well maintained although the finishes were a little dated. Would love to bring my adult children next time as the resort was very well suited to them. Lots of wonderful Candians too! Go Blue Jays!

Rooms on the Beach Negril: Great vacation - great people, great location and great memories!

This was our first non all inclusive vacation and we had a fantastic experience. We were assigned an ocean front room complete with wooden verandah and fridge just steps away from the beach which contributed to our pleasant experience. TRANSFER to hotel from MoBay - uneventful, stopped for rest break and beer (overpriced!) CHECK-IN/OUT: Quick, efficient - the agent was very personable and welcoming ROOM: comfortable bed but not enough pillows, our safe was missing the digital mechanism b [... read more]ut that was quickly rectified, our air conditioner worked well however was leaking - this was not rectified during our stay. Bring your own toiletries as you will only have those tiny bars of soap. The cleaning staff did an amazing job every day to keep the room clean. GYM: the temperature is not conducive to working out, it is stuffy and hot, the equipment is average - did not see many people using the facility STAFF: Amazing, everyone from the ground keeper to the manager far exceeded our expectations, everyone was happy to help and answer all of our questions - I observed the staff throughout the week and they always went out of their way to make everyone feel special. The manager Ms.Grant is an elegant woman who is very professional and you can tell takes pride in her role, her staff and the property. FOOD: Breakfast is included in the package - (hard boiled egg, variety of cold cereals, bread to toast yourself, choice of pastry and a few pieces of fruit plus coffee, tea and juices (every day it seemed like they ran out of coffee - we always bring our own so did not affect us personally). You can also order a bigger breakfast from the menu for a reasonable cost. We had lunch twice at the hotel and it was yummy and very reasonably priced. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, from street and beach vendors to 5 star restaurants, from Chinese, Italian, yummy jerk chicken to fusion foods - we never had a bad meal. BEACH: It does not get better than this - clear water, powdery beach, warm water - it's perfect and the sunsets are spectacular. VENDORS; 2 great pattie vendors on the beach - offering beef, chicken, shrimp, veggie and pumpkin patties - regular or hot - the best!!! Also vendors with real fruits, other treats and merchandise. Did not encounter any issues or harassment from anyone - except for a lobster vendor on the beach - he is located to the right of Rooms, right before the sign (Wake and Bake!). You will note his lobsters in a cage in the ocean - we will try to rip you off and then intimidate you. He quoted us $20 for 3 lobsters and when we were ready to go, he said $60, we walked away and he followed us swearing and yelling all the way and threatening that he would make our vacation hell. STAY AWAY from him, he is a tall skinny man - do not give him your business. MUSIC: always a spot where you can get live entertainment or even jam with the locals. We will return!!
