Relaxing resort

This was our 5th stay in resort. We do like all layout. Grounds are well kept. Challenging aspect are stairs. They are a few. But you can always find a way to avoid stairs or use a "carts service" for free. Rooms are simple and and always clean. Food is good with enough choices. Also 5 alacarte restaurace available. Great ocean swimming and snorkeling. Good birding even on resort's grounds. Strongest asset of Las Brisas is staff. Very friendly, accommodating and always helpful.

Great value for the money

Good food, impeccable service. Lots of opportunity for sports .(Old club med). Not too busy, mainly middle aged crowd. Nice to be so close to town, only 5 dollar taxi ride. Lots of stairs so not for people with mobility issues.I nicknamed it the mountain goat resort. Great memories!

Everything that we wanted.

We really enjoyed our stay at Las Brisas and it's a place we go back to. We love the elevations, the beautiful grounds, the walkways along the water, the three beaches one with a coral reef, and the abundance of tennis courts. The restaurants were very good, our room, which was a Junior suite, was very nice and the staff was excellent.

Las Brisas Huatulco

I thought the weather was impeccable, the 3 beaches (snorking,family & sport beach) were fantastic. The room were OK. The dining in the special restaurants were much better than the buffet restaurant. I thought the activity around the pool was a 4 on a scale of 10, also the entertainment at night was a 2 on a scale of 10. If your not in for walking, this is not the place to be, as there is a abundance of stairs and walking to get from one place to another.

Great place

Great spacious rooms, large bathrooms we had a wonderful view from our room in the pueblo nubes (cloud) section. Lots of food choices and al a cartes were very good, service was wonderful for us anyway. We stayed two weeks feb 20-mar 6. Weather was hot and not a drop of rain. It is not a resort for people with walking difficulties as it is very hilly and lots of stairs they do provide shuttle service which u can catch at many different spots on the resort. All in all wonderful place would recomm [... read more]end it for sure. The only issue was the entertainment they should be on a 2 week schedule with more shows as they repeat after the first week.

UNIQUE RESORT

THE HILL SETTING OF THIS HOTEL IS WHAT MAKES IT SO AMAZING, SPECIAL AND UNIQUE. THIS IS PERHAPS THE REASON MOST OF THE ROOMS HAVE WONDERFUL VIEWS. ALSO I LIKED THAT THE HOTEL WAS A QUICK RIDE FROM THE AIRPORT AND TOWN. THE BEACH IS WHAT I LOVED THE MOST AT THIS HOTEL....BEAUTIFUL SAND AND GREAT SNORKLING. Good holiday!

It's a lovely resort with good food and friendly service. The weather is good and the beaches are beautiful. We enjoyed kayaking and sailing. The men at the water sports are very helpful and kind. I like the walks through the botanical gardens - enroute to our room. Good exercise, but the truck service was always available too. Nice and friendly.

Beautiful resort

Great beaches beautiful grounds rooms were large and well maintained only disappointment was food some things good and some things not so good. Drinks at bars were great. A la cartes were greatest disappointment! Sometimes they had items on menu and sometimes not.

Great Hotel

Really liked this resort, the rooms were spacious & the grounds were absolutely beautiful. A lot of walking but that's a good thing. We do plan to go back to this resort. It's great for family vacations.

A Piece of Paradise

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The grounds were well groomed and beautiful and I loved the fact that the property was so huge - not tons of people but tons of space. The three amazing beaches offered something for everyone from a huge wave beach to a medium wave one to a calm wading and snorkeling area. The staff were amazing: the front desk, the maid service, the bartenders and waiters to the grounds keepers. The hotel had a doctor on staff, who I unfortunately needed while there. Ok but check your rooms for bed bugs

long ways to the beach for everyone not for people with walking impairment.beachs nice lobby bar nice . adult pool was just ok too close to kids pool. staff very nice except for some of the front end staff.had and not kidding bed bugs in our room had to move to another room. was nice they cleaned our clothes. I washed our luggage. superior room is the only way to go at this resort all others are not worth the money even on sale.

Bad stay..... stay away from this hotel

Bed bugs.... that's all I have to say The hotel has dirty rooms.... we had to move rooms because of bed bugs and hundreds of bites all over our body. We couldn't go to the beach because of the bits.... it was embarrassing and on top of that... everything had to be cleaned even our luggage. Stay away.

Up bove expectations

A beautiful older resort. We enjoyed our stay very much, the grounds were beautiful and well maintained the rooms were spacious and very clean, The food was excellent with great variety, The staff was very attentive and helpful. All in All a great place for a vacation and you can't beat the price.

Nice resort

Resort is nice rooms are ok. Beautiful views, seen whales from our room. Food and drinks where good. buffet seemed more cafeteria style, but good food. beaches excellent, fishing even better. Iguanas everywhere. Things are more money on resort so go to town its less then $5.00 for a taxi. Markets and stores have good prices and always willing to haggle. We travelled as a group of 4 in our late 30's early 40's and we will defently return. Very relaxing

The location of this resort is perfect, a quick ride from the airport, removed from the main resort area (private beach so no beach pedlars) yet close enough to the resort area to walk. There are MANY stairs at this resort, which I personally loved as I could incorporate some fitness into my vacation. If you are travelling with someone who has difficulty with stairs or walking this might not be the best resort for them. The wait staff are wonderful, just like I read in previous reviews. This is  [... read more]the first time we signed a bill every time we ate/drank ( like in a restaurant here)., even though you don't actually pay the bill, you just sign for it. The nice thing about that is it gave us a reference point of how much to tip. If we didn't have or didn't want to carry cash with us, we could add the tip onto the bill. At the end of our stay we simply paid up what ever extra we had signed for. The food was very good, we loved that you ordered from a menu for lunch/supper. The breakfast buffet is awesome, be sure to ask for bacon if you don't see any out. The coffee is served in coffee butlers that kept it piping hot! We just loved that we could order our lunch, snacks and eat right on the beach! Even with eating in the beach and pool area it was very clean. Beer was served in bottles, not plastic glasses. I recommend you go for a walk to the massage huts at the end of the public beach, if you walk it'll take about an hour, we took our time. For 300 peso's my husband and I could each get a 1 hour massage. It was lovely and a great way to get out of the sun for a bit. We walked one evening to Frank's for supper, that's a must. Again took us about an hour to walk there, it's a safe walk. We also went to Mama Norma's for Key Line Pie, but they were all out. We had banana cream instead and it was good. We were there the first week of April and it was very quiet both at our resort and in the resort district. Easter was the weekend after we left and it was getting very busy, so be aware of when Easter is if you go. All in all a great stay, we were looking for a quiet and relaxing get away and that is exactly what we got.

Great resort

We loved the hotel, resort and hualtulco in general. Great destination for your money. Beautiful scenery. Small town feel with no big box stores or restaurants. Nice people, helpful staff and friendly.
