Great resort good location
The resort is nice and clean. Food on the buffet is average buffet food...but be careful on the weekend while locals invade the resort...quality goes down (tougher steaks...more local foods) and lots of empty trays. Ala carte resaurants have amazing food...but good luck if they decide to open or if they will let you in. They are scheduled to open at 6:30 but some never open and when they do...it's usually 7. Rooms are nice and constantly cleaned...do not leave change laying out as they assume [... read more]
Rui santa fe
the hotel and people were great , too bad the ocean was not swimmable but can not complain , ocean view is the best and ala carte restaurants are great Alex at the buffet and Bibbanne at the steak house treated us like royalty
It was a great resort
this is a great resort . a lot of walking but we like that . the front lobby and center court reminds me of a small Mexican village. food was good and the steak house was delicious. service was excellent we enjoyed it and had fun.would return again
First time, not the last!
Riu Los Cabos is one of the places ive been to where I could say I was treated as a royalty. From different areas such as their bars and restaurant to all the people behind the scenes in the resort whether it be a server or a housekeeper, it made me feel I was welcomed and they want me to stay. Ive seen a lot of smiles from the staff and the tourists as well. The Nexus group made my stay worthwhile as they told us almost eveything about Cabo. The excursions from the Cabo Adventures is one of the [... read more]
Great time. Fun resort but....
Had a great time, rooms excellent and clean. The buffets were good lots of selection. Grounds well maintained . Friendly service at bars and buffet. Pools are lots of fun but..be aware the two small pool bars at front of building 7 tend to be loud and full of partiers occasionally the odd person (s) tend to get out of hand. The other pool bar in middle of resort tends to be more relaxing. Also be aware only building 7 has elevators. Top floors in other buildings are four stories high....Lots of [... read more]
Absolutely amazing!!
We went here for our honeymoon in may 2016 and had an amazing wonderful relaxing time! From the moment we left from Vancouver Canada our flight was great, the shuttle service from the airport in Los cabos was really easy and clear to find, our check in was very smooth and straight forward and our room was lovely, clean and air conditioned. The beds were firm and comfy. The staff here is so wonderful! I was so impressed with their hard work and professionalism. The drinks were great, and the food [... read more]
Great resort for adults from 20s-30s
Overall the RIU Santa Fe was a fun, upbeat hotel with a lot of people that wanted to have a good time. In terms of the food, it was mediocre (all inclusives all get redundant after the 3rd or 4th day). The pool bars were great with people always around them. With the high demand, it was hard to get service sometimes, but understandable with the amount of people. The rooms were good, spacious enough with the fridge restocked daily and complimentary alcohol in the room. I would NOT recommend thi [... read more]
Very nice, resort.
Hotel and grounds very clean, Great food, and wonderful friendly staff. Younger crowd, but it gave our slightly older crowd some good entertainment. Second floor is better, less noise. The seafood at the restaurants was a nice treat.
Amazing Resort!
Grounds are beautiful and well kept. Rooms were always cleaned and stocked. Food was amazing, especially the buffet, so much selection. Staff were all friendly Entertainment was great and good music! Overall, a fantastic week and I would love to go back!
Amazing Resort
Loved staying at this resort!! It was constantly clean, which is a major plus for me. I stayed with my daughter and we had an absolute blast, would recommend this hotel for anyone planning on visiting Mexico.
Best resort I've stayed at
Perfect if you want to find the social scene, everything is pretty central. I just wish they played urban latin hits in Pacha. They played top 40's. The main buffet was amazing. Some of the best food i've had at a resort. Shrimp was fresh, tacos and everything that you would expect in mexico is there. The A la cartes are great. The after hour snacks were not just hamburgers and hot dogs, there was a salad option, nacho's and pastries. Social scene at the party pool is good, as well as the cent [... read more]
Great resort. I'd visit again in a second!!
Very nice hotel I'd stay there again no question. Clean. Well maintained. Good food. Pools were great - a good assortment of quiet/family, activity, and or party pool depending on ur mood. Staff was friendly.
Fantastic resort
We enjoyed staying at the Riu Santa Fe. Everyone was very friendly. The room was always clean. I wouldn't recommend going during spring break. The kids were very loud. The food was very good. We especially liked the Mexican restaurant.
Beautiful and clean just a couple things need work
It was a beautiful resort a bit busy for this season. The staff were very kind except for a few that wouldn't even say hello when my fiance and I sat down at their bar. These woman were too busy chatting to come over and ask us if we wanted a drink and we were the only ones there. Sort of rude I would say. pools were beautiful, a bit chilly but the sun heated us up when we got out Our room was always clean and the maid was a sweetheart. We had room 6102 and it was very quiet. The food was good i [... read more]
Great Vacation
We really enjoyed our vacation at Riu Santa Fe. Food & choice of restaurants were appreciated by our family - along with excellent & friendly service daily. The grounds, scenery and pools beautiful and very clean. We will definitely return to Riu Santa Fe. Our only little problem was our internet capabilities.
Fantastic vacation!
This resort was great! The food was amazing and service was outstanding. People were very friendly and the rooms were clean. We had so much fun here! Would definitely recommend this resort to a friend.
Had A Great Time
This resort is kept up beautiful very clean. Great food. Lots to do in the area, downtown is easy to get to.Very safe area and people are very friendly and willing to help you.The only downfall is the beach is a coarse sand not nice soft white sand and you can't swim in the ocean in front of the resort althought some people do
Friendly staff
Very well maintained grounds. Clean rooms. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Fantastic food with excellent choices. Only downside was, bathrooms are pretty far from the pool. I would return to this resort.
Extremely friendly staff!
I found the staff was extreme!y friendly and helpful. The maid was very attentive and also inventive with all her towel critters she left on our beds to greet us every day. The entertainment staff were also above and beyond in their helpfulness especially Juan. The resort was well maintained and things were fairly easy to find. It was a very relaxing vacation for myself and my spouse, mind you, if you wanted night life, it was available too. So basically there was something for everyone.
Great resort and city!
My girlfriend and I had a great time at the Riu Santa Fe. The weather was perfect, food was sufficiently varied, and the staff were always happy and helpful. Beach was a little rough but it was worth it!
