Beautiful landscapes and gardens. White sandy beaches with tons of chairs. Wonderful fast service. Clean facilities. Great food. Many great restaurants to choose from. Fabulous vacation for the family with so many options and activities for everyone

Resort for everyone

Transpo: confusing pickup at airport. Loaded into taxi vans based on resort. We watched many load while we waited an hour. Given a taxi chit for return trip. Did not realise the chit had details for Transat welcome time. Hotel Reception: fast and welcoming but no info was passed about Transat welcome. Easy check out. Friendly. Room: very clean, well stocked with water, towels etc. Comfortable beds and AC. Quiet. Food: Very good. Excellent selection of a la carte restos. Downside, resto [... read more]s filled quickly so placed on a waitlist. Grounds: well kept, pools were great. Pleasant that there was no food being brought out of restos to mess up the grounds. Beach: Very Unsatisfactory. Do not recommend resort for someone wanting a beach vacation. Very significant swath of weeds line the hotel’s entire beach front. Significant weeds also floating in the water. Most unpleasant. Not used. Vacationeers: Good mix; families, old and young. A few partiers. Party Atmosphere: Pool with bar and swim up bar were hub of activity during the day. Other pools quiet. There were shows in the evening but we did not attend. Smoking: Smoking permitted outdoors, thus at the pool too. Not plesant for non smokers. Thankful no smoking is restos. Airtransat: Good flights. Two reps worked in the reception area during the day. Welcome reception was not attended because it’s time and location was not communicated well. Over all experience and vacation was very good but I would not recommend hotel due to the unplesant state of the beach front.

Great place, no regrets

We were there for 10 days From feb 3ard. I really have no complaints. All of the dinning was awesome. Only one that needs a reservation is the sensai and its one of those cook in front of you deals. Very good as well. The beef is very good there and I would recommend the Chateau Briand. its a little extra $ but worth it . Blue moon.. The buffet is also very good but can be a bit noisy timing is important here eat early in the morning they open at 6:30 am so you can grab some grub before you go  [... read more]on your early tours.and around 9 at nite. The pools are fun and they have pool parties as well. The guys at the bar are a fun bunch and no problems getting loads of drinks, and yes they come around and bring drinks as well. Beach is very nice and they try to keep all the sea weed picked up. Great for long walks I think about 4 km to Peorto Moralas , check out the nude beach on your way. Rooms were all clean and comfortable. They also have nightly entertainment it was hit and miss but still fun. Book this place and your in for a good time, CHEERS !

Very nice resort

Was very pleased with the service , cleanliness and quality of food ! The only negative was the constant seaweed washing up on the beach but staff did a great job of cleaning up after Mother Nature . Would definitely return to Oceon Corral and Turquesa

Great Resort

Beautiful resort with 4 pools (one for children) and many restaurants. Lots of beachfront but unfortunately lots of dark seaweed in water and along beach. Hotel made substantial effort to clean up beachbeach day butvseaweed was copious and relentless. Also lots of plastic garbage floating ashore. Food in all restaurants was excellent. Lots of events during day and in the evening. Rooms were excellent as was the service. Friendly resort

Very friendly atmosphere, amazing people, room is big and spacious, food is great, we had the best massage ever , showtimes is good, but not enough time to dance.The beach is nice, unfortunately water was dirty with seaweeds.

Absolute Perfection

The Ocean Coral & Turquesa was absolute perfection from the time we arrived to the day we said goodbye.  Our stay was the week of Feb 5th to 12th, 2018 and I miss it already! This resort exceeded all of our expectations!  The food was fantastic, the property was stunning, the service was impecable and the rooms were spotless! From the buffet to the al a carte menus, there is no possible way to go hungry as the variety was endless. Our room was the not the privilege but the sapphire club option. We could not use the privilege restaurant or privilege beach area, but it included use of the privilege pool, wine on arrival in the room, slippers and bathrobes, and very large spotless suite. The 4 pools were very clean and refreshing, you could choose a different one depending if you wanted the activities or quiet and relaxing. They have plenty of lounging options so always a space available. The beach was beautiful and well cared for with grooming done all the time. Plenty of lounge chairs and palapa's for everyone including beach service for drinks. The service from the resort is extremely unique as there is not one area of service that is lacking in attention to detail and the staff go above all to make your stay the best possible.  Thanks to all at the resort, we will definitely be back for sure!

Nice location

Thought I would let you know how unhappy we are. So far a very poor experience at our hotel. The sales pressure for future stays is very forceful. The man that approached us was very aggressive and trying to into my purse and our beach bag for the paperwork on the tours we purchased at the airport from the hotel representative who we later found out was not from Ocean Coral and Turqueta. We went for dinner at the steak house last night. Ordered Calamari for appetizer and it was horrible!!!!!! [... read more] We got 3 pieces of Heavily battered and extremely greasy Calamari! I ordered a prime rib steak (medium rare), with a baked potato and got blue rare steak, 3 small slices of cold sliced potato. Brian ordered Beef Ribs with baked potato and he too got 3 small slices of COLD potato. Our server Tony not once came by to check on our meals. When he finally came around we brought the steak and cold, hard and raw potato to his attention but there was no remorse. He offered to have the same steak put back on the grill to cook more!!! I ordered a margarita and hit it in a short plastic glass!!! Very pathetic to go to a steak house and get such awful service and food. We thought since I was still hungry we’d get dessert at the Italian Restaurant and ordered banana flambé. Excited for my dessert only to be disappointed with a very hard bite size banana tart with no taste. After our very poor dining experience we went to the lobby lounge for a drink. I ordered a Martini which arrived in a plastic margarita glass. I asked my server why he brought me a margarita and not a Martini he advised it is a Martini and they didn’t have any martini glasses!! Seriously a 4+ resort and no martini glasses?? They serve drinks in plastic glasses? Our room in situation right outside a road and traffic starts at 5 AM. I’m on vacation and definitely not interested in waking up with traffic at 5:00AM. We wanted to stay away from the traffic noise not in the have a bust road in front of our room!! So far our experience is awful. It is with your recommendation that we came here and are extremely disappointed. I am going to the front desk to see they will move us. Sorry to have to write this email but I felt you should be aware of our negative experience so far. I understand this is not your fault directly but if Trip Central is recommending this hotel then you. We’d to be aware of the hotel. On a positive the hotel was clean and the beach was not crowded. Great resort

Beautiful resort. Very clean, spacious rooms, great restaurants and buffets. Drinks were plentiful. Wait & bar staff very respectful . Cloth napkins were a very nice touch. Food was well prepared. Pools were very nice. Beach was nice but there was seaweed, but was cleaned up every day. Rooms were spacious, clean. Pillows, mattress, towels were great. The only thing that bothered me( personal thing) that there was no door to bathroom although there was a door on water closet. Would g [... read more]o back in a minute.

Beautiful Resort

The grounds were beautiful and well kept! The staff were amazing and so was the food. We thought it was the best resort that we have been to because the staff were so friendly and willing to help in any way whatsoever!

Great relaxing vacation

Food and variety was awesome Coffee shop vanialla latte was out of this world! Great relaxing holiday would recommend. this resort for families, groups and couples The grounds were well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful. Nothings really to complain about at this resort.

Amazing resort but...

I have been to several 4 or 5 star resorts and this one was one of the bests in term of quality of amenities, cleanliness, friendly staff, convenience, attention to details and such. I recommend the resort to my friends for sure. However there were two issues that I didn’t like. First was the reservation problem; when we arrived at the resort at 11pm after hours of traveling to check in, they said they don’t have any room available!!! They were going to send us to another resort for the nig [... read more]ht (20 minues from the resort) and ask us to come back the next day to check in!! But after they saw us resisting to leave, all of a sudden they found a room available in the resort and they said it’s because there was a cancellation, we can give it to you now!!! The second issue was the quality of the beach... I was excepting to see a torquise blue beach but what we had was a beach full of seaweeds... which made us spend the whole time by their pools. Other than these two issues, I truly enjoyed my time in that resort.

Returned for the 3rd time

Grounds: lush and well groomed. Rooms: very spacious,large balconies. Dining: exceptional. Service: very responsive to any issues and no language issues,pleasant employees. Beach: nice long beach for swims and walks.

Wonderful holiday

We had an amazing time at the ocean coral turquesa! Food was great, staff were wonderful and the grounds were beautiful! Beach was amazing!! Very clean resort and no seaweed on the beach! If there was any they quickly cleaned it up. Would go again in a heartbeat!

Great Vacation

We really enjoyed our week long vacation to Ocean Coral and Turquesa. The staff were friendly and we were treated with excellent service, especially at the swim up bar. The proximity of the resort to the ocean was a definite highlight and the entertainment was great. The only complaint we would have is that we waited 2 hours for the Mexican restaurant, only for the food to be so-so with small portion sizes. Otherwise we enjoyed the rest of our meals and had an overall great experience!

Incredible Getaway

Incredibly clean and all of the staff are very helpful and professional. We found a lot of the signage regarding restaurant hours or the location of the nightly show were incorrect and lead to a couple of minor disappointments, but definitely not a reason to not go. We enjoyed the beachside drink service and restaurant variety. The nightly shows were fairly entertaining (with a couple of terrible exceptions). Great Resort

Stayed at ocean coral and turquesa for a week and it was wonderful. the rooms are great and spacious, the beds are comfortable and the pillows are insane! would have taken them home if i could have. the beach is beautiful with white sand, and service on the beach! the swim up bar is great and speedy, and all of the restaurants were amazing. would recommend to anyone going!

Wonderful Experience!

Lovely atmosphere, friendly service. Beautiful beaches and pools with drink services to each. Getting into restaurants for dinner was quite the wait but worth it once you’re in! Nightly entertainment was okay, some nights better than others.

Beautiful resort

I'm a loyal RIU hotel traveller and this resort provided all the amenities I needed. Wi-Fi all over resort and beach, room service and great food and service. Very clean and safe. The only thing that I would have liked was a little better entertainment at night
