Holiday Inn at Universal: Could have been better....

We found most of the staff to be very nice and easy to deal with, but had some issues with the cleaning of our room. It was hit and miss, as one day we might not get clean towels left, and another day the only replacement coffee pods would be decaf coffee. This is an older hotel, and we found that it could have been a bit cleaner. On a good note, it was close to attractions. When booking I was under the impression that there was a continental breakfast included, but this was not the case.

Holiday Inn Orlando SW Celebration Area: Average

The carpet in the room smelt, the clock was off, the toilet flush did not work, I had to lift the top off and jiggle the plumber after use, my room was connected by a close door early to another room and I registered several complaints to the front desk to send a security guard to advise the resident to lower the noise level ~ eventually I had to change my room.

Oceanside Inn: Clean hotel, good parking, great housekeeping staff & on main drag

We arrived on Feb.7, 2019 and were pleasantly surprised to find a very clean fresh room BUT could Not use DVD player. Next day someone came up and hooked us up. There were a few things needed (sink plug, knob for lamp etc) that we needed to request. They cleaned, replaced towels and tidied up each day. Please be aware that Ocean View can mean a window looking over the parking lot but you can see the Ocean. If you want to pay more then ask for a Beach View. The pool was 2 degrees warmer than [... read more] the Ocean of 61 degrees. The Tiki Bar was not open. Loud Air Conditioning unit came on every 5 minutes and stayed on for 2 minutes. Free coffee with toast and waffles for breakfast. Juice for kids would have been nice. I would stay again as the Hotel was clean, parking was good and some staff were very helpful. Maybe next time closer to the end of Feb for a warmer pool. Excellent Price for vacation.

Champions World Resort: Good Value.

Nice Grounds. Parking was plentiful. Fridge and Microwave in room is a bonus. The beds are very hard. Requested King Bed and received 2 doubles. Was $30 to upgrade to King for some reason. Easy check in and out.

Universal's Aventura Hotel: Really Nice resort

Excellent friendly staff, fast room service, and informative staff. Negative, breakfast food quality and choices, in comparison to other resorts we have stayed in. The room we had seemed very plain, needed extra towel hooks in bathroom for convenience as well as more colourful, lively pictures on walls or britter paint colours. All and all very clean and well maintained. Yes, would recommend to stay at this resort, however go elsewhere for breakfast.

Oceanside Inn: Dilapitated hotel

The people working the front desk are lovely and very helpful and friendly. The rooms were relatively clean. The furnishings are completely dilapitated, broken, old, literally falling apart, I have never seen anything like it! We looked at 5 rooms before settling on the one we took and agreed that if we woke up with any bites or saw any bugs in the room, we were out of there and leaving our clothes and bags behind. The mattress in the fifth room we looked at was pretty new and the bedding looked clean. All in all not a terrible stay if you have low standards and a sense of humor. Our trip was inexpensive but seriously, tripcentral would be wise not to send people to this hotel. Tripcentral should have higher standards then this. I would rate this hotel a one star. Clean lobby and lobby bathrooms but come on! Get some half decent furniture from this decade ocean side. The way it is now, should be of great concern or at the very least embarrassing.

Hard Rock Hotel at Universal: Dated Resort

Unfortunately after coming back for a visit after 8 years found everything the same as when I left right down to the paint and carpets ,even the Kitchen restaurant had not changed figured they would of at least updated the decor tables,chairs ect. Even found the outside fountain was looking it's age (was not even cleaned up) sad for such a classy hotel.

Sheraton Vistana Resort: Great resort

Beautiful grounds. Lots of pool and activity options. Good restaurant menus. The market had a lot of selection eg. snacks, alcohol, coffee, toiletries. Accommodations were more then we expected. Clean 2 bedroom 2 bath fully stocked eat in kitchen, 2 sitting areas and screened in veranda. Locations was central to parks. Only downsides the beds could be updated and they don’t offer recycling

Disney All Star Movie: Great experience, friendly staff, great value.

The hotel was beautiful, heated outdoor pools, amazing Disney decorated sections. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a tad small but were clean and beautifully decorated. The cafeteria and so many options and delicious food. The caricature man was amazing. Laundry facilities were a great help. The Disney store had alot to offer. Shuttle service was great. Overall had an amazing experience with Disney All-Star Movies hotel :)

Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort: Fantastic!

Beautiful hotel centrally located to all parks. Shuttle buses right outside to take you to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure as well as City Walk. Short Uber trip to Disney parks or if you prefer to drive yourself, there is a convenient Avis rental car right in the main lobby. The pool and lazy ride er looked great we didn't use them because it was a bit chilly for water stuff when we were there.They also have a guest service desk in the main lobby to assist with buying or picking up yo [... read more]ur tickets to the parks including express passes. They really went above and beyond to help us as they couldn't find our park tickets originally. My only complaint would be that I felt a bit nickel and dimmed for everything that would have been just automatically included at a disney resort, an example would be the souvenir mugs, you buy the mug for like $18 US, then an additional $9 US each day to use it. When you are at Disney you buy the same type of mug and refill constantly with no extra cost.

Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort: Very satisfied

Great room awesome bed and not a noise to be heard from other guests while in our room. The food is priced fairly for a resort and the staff was excellent. We would return to this resort. Close to universal with the shuttles. Too cold for pools so going neutral with 2 stars on that section

Holiday Inn Harbourside: Awesome hotel

As this was our first trip to Florida , pleasantly surprised at the location and appearance of this hotel. Very close to the beach and walking distance to several restaurants and stores. Upon arrival and reading from other reviews, the age and appearance of this hotel was exactly what we were looking for, older and not too large. Upon check-in we were assigned a smaller room overlooking the back of hotel. We spoke with receptionist and was given an upgrade to a suite on inner section of hotel d [... read more]irectly across from lobby for additional fee. This too was unsatisfactory as we could not leave shades open due to traffic from main desk. After speaking to hotel manager Charles, he went out of his way to make our stay remarkable. He assigned us an executive suite on harbourside with no additional charges from our original price. This room was exceptional as it had a kitchen and separate bedroom with bathroom. Our ten day stay at this central hotel was truly enjoyable as we were able to visit both north and south areas of Florida's gulf coast within easy driving distances. Although the weather was not always pleasant the stay at this hotel was truly enjoyable. For an older hotel it was very well maintained, with all the amenities. Once again I would like to thank Charles and Amanda for going out of their way to make our stay truly enjoyable. Would definitely love to come back another time.

Disney Art of Animation Resort: Great place!

The grounds were immaculate. Loved the themeing around each hotel building. Landscape of flavors wasn't bad, but wasn't what I've read on other reviews. Preferred eating elsewhere. The bus system was great, always on time and very little wait time both at the resort or off resort. We stayed in the little mermaid room. It was smaller than expevted, but we rarely spent time in the room. Would definitely upgrade to a family suite next time. I would certainly book there again!

Disney All Star Sports: Good value resort

Rooms okay, need an upgrade. Comfortable, well stocked for the price. Mattress and pillows comfortable. TV okay, sound good, good channel selection. Staff were friendly and dealt efficiently with any concerns. Front desk were exceptional.

Disney All Star Movie: Exactly what it promises

A clean room with a comfortable bed that had plenty of pillows. Perfect for the rest everyone needs after a day of hitting the parks. The food is sub-par but that was expected. Eat at Epcot and other Disney hotels for better options; this is a value hotel that delivers exactly what it promises: clean, functional rooms with great service around the property. I’d stay here again for sure.

Courtyard Fort Lauderdale East: As expected, very good

the hotel is about 2KM so a walking distance to the sea. It is easy to go around and the hotal has a shuttle to carry you around. Our room was quiet so our sleep at no time was disturb. Nothing to had, it matched what we where expecting,

Dolphin Beach Resort: Won't recommend

Our trip to The Dolphin Resort in St. Petersburg Fl.dyring Christmas. We left our home at 3am on Dec 21st to catch out 6:20flt at Pearson in Sunwing. We thought everything was moving well until we entered customs with hundreds of people waiting. Most could barely speak English, and where expected to use the machines to fill out forms. At 6:30 we where still in customs (2hrs) standing. Our flt was held till 8am. What a awful experience. We didnt get to our hotel until 5:30pm. As we where to [... read more]ld it was only approx. 45 min from the airport, turned out to be 2.5 hrs away plus the shut down of the highway during to high winds and poor driving conditions. We lost the first day. We requested a ground floor with a king bed, but got 2 double beds facing a parking lot and field. Cockroaches were found inside of my cosmetic bag, we had to put up with guests fighting in a room above us eventhough we complained. The pool was full of sand and closed for 2 days, Car rental was suppose to be about $45. Extra ended up being $80.extra US. Plus an extra $80 US for parking at the hotel. The hotel is very old, then we lost another day on the 28th as the drive back to Orlando airport was do far. Our trip ended up being 5 day very disappointing.. I have to question who is checking out these vacation spots! So far our last 2 vacations with Sunwing where not memorable. Regards Sharon Munday

Disney Port Orleans: Amazing Resort

The Port Orleans French Quarter was a great place to stay. All the people who worked there were so helpful and answered all our questions about the resort, transportation and Disney World. Our granddaughter is 5 and has food limitations (gluten free). The chefs would personally prepare her food ensuring there would be no cross-contamination. The choices available to her were phenomenal. The food choices for the adults were amazing - it was hard to decide what to order as the choices were all fa [... read more]bulous. The resort is a short bus ride to Disney World and the drivers were so accommodating to two of us using scooters. The same goes for the short ferry ride to Disney Springs - no problem taking the scooters on.

Coco Key Hotel & Water Park: Great place for families

Stayed at the coco key hotel and waterpark for 3 days with our 4 and 3 year olds. Overall we had a great time and the kids loved the waterpark, especially the waterslides! Even the regular pool was heated and very clean. This is a clean hotel and very close to many fun activities Orlando has to offer. We would definitely stay here again.

Sonesta ES Suites Orlando International Drive: Good Hotel

Hotel was good. Rooms were spacious with a kitchenette. Decor could use a little refreshing. Pool area was great. Water was warm even when weather wasn’t. Lots of outdoor space to lounge around. Casual bar onsite both inside and poolside. Great location!!
